Review of Revlon ColorStay Makeup by SugarFreeSheila
One of the rare foundations I've used up AND repurchased. As far as my skin shade goes, I'd peg myself a tiny bit lighter than NC15. Colorstay in Buff (second-lightest shade) is allllllmost too dark for me - but it's the right tone & looks so much better on me that the neon-pink Ivory shade. So it works. I love it.
A matte-finish SPF is best under this one, and for reference the Australian Gold Sheer Coverage Faces SPF 45 is great underneath Colorstay. I apply with fingers, then blend with the Sigma Beauty Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki F80 brush as a final touch. Since I go for a finish somewhere between dry-as-a-bone matte and dewy, I skip the powder (unless I'm going out that evening) and call it a day. The net result is a nice satin finish.
I'm with a lot of you in that Revlon NEEDS to add a pump to these already!! In the meantime, you can hit the dollar store or eBay for mini bottles with pumps to spare yourself the germs & mess of a no-pump foundation.
