The packaging for De-Slick is a little sad. It literally looks like a regular spray bottle with a large label on it that says what it is. The outside box is pretty nice though (in terms of design).
Aside from the packaging, De-Slick was a little bit of a hit and miss for me. On some days, I found that the product worked really well to mattify my face and set my make-up for the entire 16 hours. However, on other days, I found that I had to blot my face after 5-6 hours but then, my face would be matte for the remainder of the day.
[Edit: I found that when I sprayed my face with De-Slick prior to putting on my makeup and before I brush on my Mabelline Dream Matte powder, the product worked well to keep my face shine-fre for the day.]
In terms of technique, I usually sprayed my face 3 times after moisurizing, letting it settle, & then spraying the product again after applying make-up. Word of caution, do not try spray your face if your mascara is still wet because it will make it smudge.
I really like the smell of the product. I found it really refreshing and revitalizing to spray on my face. The bottle does seem to last a really long time, so for the price that you pay (~$35 CAD), it's not too bad. Overall, I would repurchase this item because it keeps my face feeling fresh.
