Review of Avon spectralash by MalibuMands
Avon’s SPECTRALASH is OK mascara. The best thing going for it is its non-clumping separating abilities. Because of the separation your lashes look much thicker. I can’t say this mascara actually does provide more volume, but they don’t look like spiders legs. Also this is really easy to remove; a huge plus.
One issue I didn’t like; there has been the odd bit of flaking here & there. I’m fairly impressed by the results. But I’m not wowed; it’s certainly not the worst mascara I’ve tried, but it’s certainly not the best.
But the formula’s not the selling point of SPECTRALASH; the tube is. You see, there is a 3 point dial on the bottom of the tube; Click 1 is natural, day time look. Click 2 is meant to provide a bit more volume for evening and click 3 is a dramatic, special occasion, false lash look.
Well, that’s the theory; but, I honestly couldn’t discern any difference between the 3 dials. Maybe I got a tube which didn’t work, but given the average performance of the formula, there certainly isn’t anything worth buying another tube to test.
