I generally like Maybelline mascaras, yet, they all seem to have one tragic flaw. It really is a tragedy for me, I WISH I could love them. The strong rose scent is the big one for this mascara. This used to be my go-to mascara... whenever I would stray, I'd always come crawling back. I love pretty much everything about this mascara except the scent. I have terrible allergies now, and this mascara was one of the first things I had to let go of. I stopped using it about 3 years ago, and decided to try it again a couple months ago "just in case" but it wasn't pretty.

However, if it weren't for that, I'd have my HG. Lots of volume & length, no clumps/smudges/flakes. Great mascara, terrible that it's scented... why would a mascara need to be scented in the first place, let alone scented to DEATH?
