This is my favourite cheap self-tanner I've ever tried. I didn't find the smell strong at all. It was very faintly sweet, not the typical self-tanner smell, and the scent disappeared after the product dried. I love that it works gradually, but isn't insanely gradual. I noticed a bit of colour the day after my first application, and the colour got deeper each day. On my skin tone it has been coming out a really natural looking golden brown, but self-tanners react differently with everyone's skin chemistry.
You have to use a small amount of product, work in small sections, and rub the product into your skin until it is dry. If it takes more than 30 seconds or so to rub it in, you are using too much. If you don't apply it properly, you will probably get streaks and it will feel sticky on your skin. If your first application comes out streaky, exfoliate your entire body, shave, and try again.
Lastly- don't forget to break the little plastic tab on the dispenser to make it easier to get the product out. Do this by bending the little spout backwards until the tab breaks. continued >>
