I love this creme!! I change my moisturizers quite frequently but this one seems to become a favorite. It is very rich yet light. It hydrates the skin without making it shiny. It've been using it for about a month and it seems to have decreased the amount of fine lines. Plus the packaging is gorgeous! The only con is the price.! But it seems to be worth it.

The Prestige line of products, Dior's most sophisticated and therefore most expensive line, was firstly introduced in the late 90's, and until recently it was quite forgotten, having been left unattended for quite some years, leading to it's dismiss.

Well recently they decided that L'Or de Vie was not enough, so they decided that they needed a new ultra luxe line and Prestige Satin was born.

Revolving around the already used Kniphofia flower nectar, this time around it also includes the Rose Satin nectar, or concentrate to give the line a revamped effectiveness and to compete with market share.

The line consists of various products, not all of which have been launched. So far i have encountered the serum, or nectar per Dior, the eye cream, the face cream, night cream, lotion or softener, masque and cleansing lotion.

Now, since the weather has changed quite harshly and it is quite cold and windy, i needed a day cream to moisturize, protect and prevent, and at the same time to act as a barrier.

Prestige is a global answer to all signs of aging and all my needs, so i decided to splurge having had luck with Dior lately.
The cream promises all kinds of bells and whistles...wrinkle reduction, firmness restoration, increased hydration and radiance, skin protection..I'm not one to fall for all that, but a bit of luxury does no harm.

The cream comes in a heavy glass jar, with an equally heavy gold lid.Inside there's a pale beige/milky thick creme, with a very nice fragrance, albeit quite intense.

I don't use it on it's own, i use it every morning as the last step of my rutine to seal the rest of my treatments in and to add an extra layer of moisture and protection.
I do feel it's benefits, especially on harsh days, days that i've slept less than usual or days that are extra windy.
It sort of feels like a bandage, it soothes my skin, i don't get the usual cold weather redness and my skin feels more hydrated during the day.
I sometimes use it during the night as well, but mostly i use it during the day since for night time i have an other product. (Review soon)

I've only been using it for 2 weeks so far, so if anything changes i will update but so far i'm happy.
I don't have lines or wrinkles, but i do believe in prevention, and global anti aging products are the ones that are more suitable for younger people or to prevent aging, think along the lines of Orchidee Imperiale, Sublimage, etc.

My skin feels more supple, elastic, very very soft.
It feels and looks dewy, very moisturized even at the end of the day.It looks radiant and very relaxed, something very important for me, as if i have slept a full 8 hours.
With the winter cold i get some redness around my nose and cheeks, i haven't gotten any lately, and the balmy texture also protects me against windburn.

I don't believe it's all due to just one cream, but with my current skin care rutine, this step enhances the efficiency of the rest of my products and works well on it's own too.
Would i recommend it?
Yes if what you are looking for is to maintain or slightly improve your skin quality, and add hydration, radiance and overall a slight regeneration to your skin, or boost your current skin care rutine.
No if you have major signs of aging to improve. You can find other products, cheaper as well, that will do more.

This, for me, is a richly hydrating treatment which produces the results a richly hydrated skin shows:Radiance, softness, firmness, hydration,an overall improved complexion.
But i don't see it as a major wrinkle fighter.
For now, i would repurchase, but if the results stop here i will have to think twice, as i'm sure by the time i finish this jar,a new miracle product will come along.
