First off I am asian and it's very hard to find eyeliner that doesn't smudge or smear on my eyelids. Usually when I wear eyeliner it creases and looks like I have black eyeshadow on my upper lid. This is the first eyeliner I've used that does not smear on my upper lid. The color and the precise line stays true all day. I'm just glad I don't have a black line from my eyeliner on my eyelid anymore!! :) Will repurchase.
not too bad.
but it smudges at the end of the day. i get racoon eyes from this.
i found a better liner from Revlon.
I bought this eyeliner for the second time and I'm still loving it. I never thought I could use up a whole eyeliner but I did! I love this eyeliner although throughout the day, it smears under my eyes a little. This makes me look like I have worse undereye circles. But I haven't found a pencil eyeliner that never smears or smudges on me so it's allright. The texture is smooth and soft and the color pay off is also very good. It's very black and nice. It accentuates my eyes very well. I love this and will repurchase until I find a better one.
So. It's an eyeliner. Based on the reviews I was expecting some miraculous one but it's still just...an eyeliner. Nothing fancy, does what it needs to do. Maybe I am jaded but for the cost, you can get something half of this that does the exact same thing. It's just your regular old eyeliner.
I have been using clinique's gel liner but this liner always seemed to dry out two weeks after I bought it and for $14.50 and when you pay that kind of money for eyeliner you don't expect it to dry out so fast. Well I decided after reading a few reviews here that I would give Revlon Colorstay eyeliner a try. I bought the brown liner and got two eyeliner for the price of one. I cannot tell you how much I love this liner. It does not smear or smudge and It goes on so smooth and it stays all day! Very easy to remove too. Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Brown is my new HG!!
I friggin love this thing. I just ran out of an old liner that my mother gave me, which was also something by revlon. lasted FOREVER. So I went through a slew of cheapcheap eyeliners, which all sucked. so I finally shelled out that, what, $6? I'm cheap. But I digress.
This stuff goes on smooooth, goes on blackblackblack (which would be the color that I got it in), doesn't give me raccoon eyes and doesn't smudgeeee, yessssss.
I love the little sharpener at the bottom. I seem to have to resharpen after about every 2 applications, to get the fine line that I want. Which does get a bit tedious. But mayhaps thats just me being anal, haha. I don't know how true the waterproofness is though, seeing as it comes off easily when I go to wash it off with water. But for me that's a plus, as I don't own any makeup remover.
SOYEAH. good liner.
EDIT: sheesh, I'm gonna hafta take off a lippy, being as I've found out that the sharpener on the end is utter crap. The liner has broken off in the sharpener TWICE. I think I lost half an inch of product, maybe more. The second time, whilst I was trying to remove the hunk of liner inside it, the little white part broke off and fell into my trash can. I didnt make any effort to dive in and find the sharpener, eff that. Will sharpen with my regular stand alone pencil sharpener from now on.

[Wears up to 16 hours, Waterproof, Pull-out sharpener]
- I wore it only on my bottom waterline for about 12 hours and it was still there. It did start to smudge a little bit near the outer corners of my eye but nothing a Q-tip couldn't fix.
- Lasted through my 5 minutes of crying and stayed put. =) Easily removed with eye makeup remover.
- I thought the idea of a retractable pencil was a cool idea. No need to sharpen it so often. I haven't had a chance to try out the sharpener (I just bought it two days ago).
- Smooth application after the first usage. The first time I put it on it didn't go on too well and started flaking in my eye. I figured it was just a dried up layer and tried again, it was just fine.
- Pretty good for my first waterproof eyeliner. If only it was smudge-proof too...
I love this product!
I just got this in black, and this stuff applies so smoothly.
I think they just reformulated this, because I had one in taupe, and it was awful (horrible color payoff, tugged)
but the blag one was just so creamy and made such a defined line!
I love that it is a retractable pencil, and it is REALLY dark. I used rimmel pencil liners before this, and seriously, this stuff is like 3 times blacker, and creamier and smoother too.
The only reason I took off a lippie was because I have the oiliest of lids (seriously, Middle Eastern oil companies would go after the oil on my face if not for blotting papers...)
and it creased a lot without primer, but i seriously don't blame Revlon cause the oil on my face is just unbelievable, but with primer it is fine.
Maybe I got a bad pencil or something, because I didn't care for this at all. I bought this in Teal at Ulta for $4, which is about 1/2 price. Beautiful color, but seemed kinda dry when I began to apply it, so dry that it seemed like I was "dragging" it on. Then when I did get it on I looked at it and the color wasn't at all pigmented like I expected and barely showed up on me. I think I'll stick to my CoverGirl Outlast Smoothwear automatic pencils next time...
Been using this for years!!! The only eyeliner that I've found that will STAY ON! Like it because its blendable put has staying power.
