My normal to slightly combo skin has been in a terrible condition lately: I've been getting A LOT more pimples than usual. I bought this after reading the reviews on MUA. I use it every morning. At first, I was surprised by how rough and gritty the scrub was but wow, it makes my skin feel so soft and smooth! My skin feels really clean as well, without any shine or tightness, just perfect. It also made my skin more radiant. Plus, my skin doesn't seemed dried out. Omg, it's also great for getting rid of seriously stubborn blackheads. I've had blackheads on my nose forever and nothing can get rid of them either... except for this one. I'm amazed.

I love this scrub! I actually think it smells good too- it isn't overpowering or unpleasant. I have combination acne-prone skin that tends to be flaky and dry thanks to the Clindamycin and BP I slather all over my face twice a day. The ground-up particles act as a great mechanical exfoliant while the salicylic acid 2% does its job by making my skin feel soft and smooth after washing. Although this alone would not improve my acne much, it fits well with the rest of my skincare regimen and is great at removing makeup and oiliness. This scrub is refreshing, and for $3-4, how could anyone refuse?
Sometimes I like to add a pump of my Cetaphil (which I've previously added a couple of drops of Desert Essence Organic Lavender & Tea Tree Oil into); by doing that, it gives the scrub better spreadability and keeps the product moist on my face for longer as I'm rubbing it around. One of my all-time favorite products, it is a heavy-duty scrub, but it still seems very gentle.

This is ok, It didn't get rid of any of my blackheads or pimples but it keeps them at bay. What I really hate is how hard the scrub particles are to rinse off they end up in my ears, nose, and hairline. One pro though is it's a great massage to scrub your face with this. Not to hard not to soft. Overall ok, might buy again if I can't find something better. Cheap.

Well, i REALLY would give this prouduct a 3.5 but thats not an option...

Yuk smell, but it rinses off, so that doesnt matter

When you massage it onto your wet face in the shower, it feels great! it feels like its cleaning and refreshing so great!

i never really had any blackheads, but many tiny little blemishes here and there, this did not get rid of those boogs! i was hoping for that, but this cleans nice...i think

IF ANYONE HAS DISCOVERED A WASH/SCRUB/PADS THAT WORKS REALLY WELL AND UNDER 10 DOLLERS PLEASE MESSAGE ME ABOUT IT! continued >>

Once I find a product that works this good I stick with it! It leaves my skin feeling super smooth. Gets rid of flakes and definitely prevents MOST blackheads. The medicated is a plus, and useful for oily skin.

I use this several times a week and have been for years and years (I'm 56 with combination skin.) One of those great inexpensive treasures. Have never found it too rough -- it's all about how much you use, how you apply it.

I have only used this twice so far but I really like it. Was on sale for about $3.99 CAD. Kinda rough, would not use it on my face - - I bought it specifically for use on my back, which is a bit acne-prone. Great price, and I like the slightly medicinal smell.

Oh my. I am so ashamed of myself (*hangs head*), but I really like this stuff. I used it for the first time a few years ago while on vacation with my friend who had been using it faithfully. I tried it out and really liked it! I *know* I shouldn't use this on my face, and I'm not proud of myself, but I love the feel of it, the scent, the texture of the scrubbies, all the things I should shun! I use it most mornings, just a tiny bit on my fingers, then massaged onto my face. I leave it for a few minutes, then rinse. It leaves my skin very soft and smooth. My skin is very oily and acne-prone and this scrub has become an important part of my skin care routine. I've TRIED to use other, more gentle, scrubs! Honest, I have! But I always seem to come back to this one. I'm sorry... please forgive me... :))

i just keep buying this! its cheap, i personally love the smell and i use it as a body scrub as well as on my face. i was on roaccutane for acne and may i say NEVER USE A SCRUB IF U HAVE SERIOUS ACNE OR IF YOU ARE ON ACNE MEDICATION its actually the worst thing ever, the skin is just too sensitive! no wonder those people who used it with bad acne experienced negative sideaffects! from reading the other reviews, the people who love it are in my boat, theyve HAD serious acne but no longer and they use it to clean and exfoliate the skin. This is a wonder product! its got everything going for it! xox
