HG for me!! I was using BM for a really long time and was so sick of it feeling like it was gone around mid afternoon, so I decided to go back to liquid foundation..which I was kinda dreading. Until...I tried ELDW! This stuff stays on sooo good and it looks flawless (for the record, I apply it with Mac 187 and then set it with Mac Prep+Prime translucent powder With a small powder puff sponge). I cannot even tell you how much better I feel about myself! I just love the coverage. I realize it might now work for everyone, but I cannot be happier with the results of my new makeup routine!!

After using up my beloved Cle de Peau and not being able to find the same formula, I've been on the hunt for a foundation that will park itself upon my oily skin and stay put through the day. This is it-sort of. Not much withstands the oil slick that is my t-zone, but this comes pretty close. When I take my makeup off at night, there is foundation on the cleansing wipe, which means it is largely staying where I put it. The downside is that it doesn't really help the overall shiny appearance of my skin and I do still have to blot and powder during the day. I also have very pale skin and it was difficult to find a shade that matched exactly-the lightest shade is a bit too pale, the next lightest a bit too dark, but still, as far as staying power goes, this is a lot better than others I have tried (Revlon colorstay, for example) and I will probably buy it until I find something better. Definetly worth a try.
UPDATE: After trying a couple more shades in cool, warm, and neutral undertones (and taking my own advice instead of someone else's) I found one that works very well-it looks darker in the bottle than on my face, which caused me to pass it by at first. The funny part is that it seems that the darker you go shadewise, the thinner the coverage is. This shade is maybe the next to lightest cool tone, and I have to layer it to get the coverage I wanted. It also tends to sink into large pores more easily than the too-light shade I tried earlier-not sure why. This is a closer match, and I will probably use it up, but I am still on the hunt for something a little better coverage wise.

I love this foundation.
It has full coverage and it doesnt break me out. I only put a thin layer on my face that covers my redness and acne scars. For pimples, i use my fingers and dab a bit more foundation and blend. When i use this to cover my undereye circles, it kinda went into the lines. But this only happens when i use too much, so i have to be careful with that.
I've gotten alot of compliments on my skin lately. Even my brother said "why doesnt _____ have any pimples?"
The price is okay, $35USD a bit pricey but most high end foundation are around $40. Theres a 10-day sample of this, so I havent actually bought the full size foundation yet but I definitely will soon.
The packaging is pretty but I wish it came with a pump, i usually end up pouring too much on my hand. This foundation has great staying power, I wear this too school which is around 8 hours. On the website, It says its oil-free and non-acnegenic, thats one of the big reasons i bought it.
I've tried many foundations, but i think this is my HG foundation. I will repurchase :)

This is a really nice foundation. Full coverage and it stays put all day...meaning does not budge one bit. No matter how much I sweat or oiled up this foundation stayed in place and as flawless as when i applied it. However it became way too heavy on my face and made my look unnatural. I was matched wrong in this foundation twice and it gave me a very horrible ghostly appearance.
I have to admit it was a pain removing this from my face because it felt like it bonded to my skin. Once removed my face seemed clearer and more vibrant. I am not sure what ingredients are in this foundation (i should though) but whatever they were it was clearing up my skin. I never broke out from this foundation.
The fact that it didnt have a pump too much product was being wasted it is very runny and it gets undeneath the cap making even more of a mess (not to mention its not sanitary--im a bit of a germaphobe)
Overall i would not buy this foundation again for myself but for my mom(i gave it to my mom and it matches her perfectly) or a friend as it is a really nice full coverage foundation that provides a flawless finish but just not the foundation for me.

At first, I thought it was pricey, but the results are mostly worth it. Just a little of this gives almost full coverage. The sample was the wrong color for my NC25 skin (Ecru was a little too pink), but I got a bottle in the right shade (Linen). My fave thing about it, it stays on like a dream! I work 9 hour days and commute and I hated how I looked by the middle of the day until this! I have decent skin but have sun spots on my cheeks and redness around my nose, and this covers it all. I still use concealer under my eyes, just because I like to lighten that area. No powder needed! All this while not emphasizing pores either!

To those that don't like it, I suggest making sure you don't apply too much, using a good moisturizer underneath, and applying with the right brush. Those can make a HUGE difference. I was having problems with my old fave MAC foundation (Studio Sculpt) when winter hit, and the EL MA made a great observation. She said that it didn't matter which foundation I used if my skin wasn't moisturized properly. Also, I did not like this when applied with my 130 brush that I used to love. Applied with fingers and SK flat top brush its amazeballs!

Points off for me because of packaging and flashback face. I wish ELDW came in a lighter bottle w/ a pump, or even a squeeze bottle like ELDW Light. And I looked downright ghostly in Christmas pictures!

I had to turn 24 and use many foundations to find the right one, but I finally made it! It is perfect for my skin tone and type. It covers great (I have some red marks from acne, quet faded though), lasts and doesn't look like a mask or unnatural.

I highly recommend picking up a free sample size of this foundation- not only did it last me more than ten days, but seeing it in different lighting made me realize the shade I had was farrr too pinkish for my skintone. With that said, I did love the coverage and staying power of this foundation so I wore it anyway, without any skin problems to report and a decrease in midday oil.

If I found a shade that matches I would definitely buy, but in my experience with Estee Lauder and Clinique, I've yet to find a shade that works for my complexion (I'm half Japanese with a golden-neutral skin tone). I think their shades tend to look quite unnatural in sunlight.

i've worn EL double wear for almost a decade. it is my go-to foundation, even though i have a collection of over 50 foundations, easily. i have tried cinema secrets, rcma, mufe HD, armani LS, coverfx, mac, laura mercier, lancome, jane iredale, BE, all sorts of korean bb creams, basically everything on the market LOL. why do i have so many foundations even though double wear is so great? i dunno, perhaps just the thought of some new foundation possibly overcoming the Double Wear is something i'd like to see for myself.

but this one tops them all. i'm very picky in that the most important is high staying power (14 hrs+ in hot weather), must have high coverage, must have a good color match, and a smooth flawless finish. there is no other foundation that can compare. it is pricier, but you can get the promo GWP goodies so it doesn't seem too bad :)

the only reason why i gave 4 stars is the packaging - when i travel, the screwcap always gets gunked up with foundation. wish there was a pump.

Holy Grail!
I am oily skinned and sometimes get bad breakouts but most of the time I will always have something to cover and have fresh red or purple acne scarring. My skin isn't chronic but I would consider it 'spotty' or 'bad'.

This foundation will give you excellent coverage. Unless you have quite a big or red spot, it may just about not cover it, or it will wear off after a couple of hours leaving it slightly visible.

Its most amazing feature is the length of time it stays on. If you have to be somewhere for 14 hours straight then use this. Your make up will look just as good, maybe just a tingey little bit worse than when you applied it, 14 hours after you've put it on.

Another great feature is how little grease comes through. Personally in my experience I look in the mirror 4-5 hours later and will have a little collection of oil coming through the pores on the cheeks and that's it. This oil you can just dab or wipe off the surface and it wont effect the foundation underneath, it just stays put. It seems to control your faces oil production and stop a lot of it coming through the pores. If I use a foundation like Nars Sheer Glow my face will literally have oil and grease pouring through my pores which just isn't pretty.

Lastly, the finish, you need to use a light hand with this make up or it can go cakey otherwise. I suggest using fingers to apply to get the lightest coverage possible and have the most control. If someone looks at your face they will most likely be able to tell you're wearing make up as it tends to just give a full wash of even coverage. This isn't exactly natural looking but I still think it can look very nice, it will give a very polished and finished look.

In conclusion, if you have bad skin and problems with your face going oily give this a go, it could be the best foundation you've ever tried.
