This is a decent mascara for a natural look. I love the way it seperates and doesn't clump. I like to wear this on my 'no makeup days'. I've went back to my Loreal Voluminous for now, it's just much thicker and dramatic which is what I like. This would be a great mascara for those seeking a natural and not overly made up eye look.
i will use this mascara until they stop making it or until i find one better, and i doubt the latter will ever happen. separated, long and not a clump in sight! i couldn't get this stuff to clump if i was purposely trying to. and if you catch it on sale it's what, $5-6? now i see other brands are coming out with this brush...even the expensive dept. store brands. but how much different can it be? i'll stick with this one, FOR LIFE! for those complaining about it not volumizing, it doesn't claim to.
*PLEASE NOTE*
DO NOT, I MEAN DO NOT POKE YOURSELF IN THE EYE WITH THIS BRUSH. CURSES!
Excellent clump-free mascara. Perfect for rushed workday mornings when you want a natural look. Lashes are thickened and long with the sweep of the ingeniously designed brush. The only downfall to this great find is that it doesn't seem to help my lashes hold a curl. Would buy again.
This is a great non-clumping mascara. It doesn't "fatten" them up but by golly they're spidery when I'm finished. I don't curl my lashes, so I don't know how they'd hold up to that - if you wiggle the brush as you apply, it definitely separates and lengthens the lashes which is what I was going for.
My new HG mascara. It took me a little while to get used to the plastic brush and how to build properly, but now it gives me a false-lash look unlike any other drugstore mascara I have ever tried (I try to stick to drugstore mascaras so I can toss them out quickly and always have fresh ones on hand). I've had no problem with undereye smearing, which is a rarity for me, as I have very oily skin, but this one goes on gorgeous and stays that way. Cover Girl, you've really impressed me with this one.
I generally like CG mascaras because they don't smudge under my eyes (I have very oily skin) and they're inexpensive. Lash Exact did not disappoint me! I have asian lashes that are medium in terms of length and thickness. Lash Exact really defines them and gives some length. While it doesn't provide a dramatic look, I can still see a definite difference in my lashes upon application. It's clump free for the most part, but it does make my lashes stick together a bit if I apply more than a couple of layers. The brush is great because it remains clump free, unlike the usual bristles that gunk up after awhile. The greatest thing about Lash Exact is that it wears very well on me - no smudging and flaking for the most part. Washes off easily with my regular cleanser, too!
I LOVE THIS MASCARA! actaully I think I just like the brush, but the mascara itself its pretty good as well, it does not clump, this brush it awesome. I bet other brands will be coming out with brushes like this, and I will probably try them.
My new holy grail for now
Let me add to the raves for this product! You could spend a lot more on a mascara that's not half as good. I think it's the best drugstore mascara I've ever tried - although I suspect what makes it so great is mostly the wand rather than the formula. It does a great job of reaching every lash and clumps are definitely minimal, smudging non-existent. Prior to trying this, I had received a GWP of Clinique High Impact mascara that I liked a LOT, and thought maybe I'd found my HG mascara finally. I was all set to purchase a tube of that and gave this a try. So glad I did, I think this is at least as good, and probably better - and at a much nicer price. Also much more convenient to buy! I notice I get a lot of compliments on my eyes since using Lash Exact too!
I like the new brush, but the formula is not very good. Thin, and left my lashes quite spiky looking. No thickening at all (and I know, it's not a thickening formula), but, no lengthening or anything either - just coating and spiking. If anything it makes my lashes look THINNER. And yes, like many others below, I too had it flake into my contact lens yesterday - holy heck that smarts!!!!! Not even going to use up the rest of the tube. Sigh. Again, as with many products, your mileage may vary.
