I am quite "blessed" with oily eyelids. This, and UDPP have been miracleworkers. I do much prefer the packaging with Shadow Insurance though, so my search for eyeshadow primer has finally ended--happily.

This is slightly tackier feeling in comparison to UDPP, but I adore this more simply because the packaging is simple and to the point. It also contains a tiny bit more product than UDPP, and hey, if I can save money and annoyance by buying this, TFSI it is. It makes even the cheapest eyeshadows last all day, and doesn't affect blendability while enhancing color intensity. LOVE it!

At the same price as UDPP, this may not enhance the shadows to the extend that Urban Decay's does, but the packaging is SO MUCH BETTER! My eyeshadow still stays in place all day, but it doesn't have the 'wow' factor that I was used to. That being said, I would repurchase this nonetheless, seeing as one tube of this lasts about as long as 3 or 4 tubes of UDPP would with daily use because it's not packaged in this ridicuous wand-and-bottle shape. Sorry to spend the whole review knocking on something else, but Too Faced Shadow Insurance is great and you get a lot more bang for your buck!

UDPP is better, but this is close. It does what it should - no creases all day. And, it goes on very easily - no tugging or pulling. The tube is very nice and efficient (hear that, Urban Decay?). The reason I put it slightly behind UDPP is because it is very difficult to blend the shadow on top of this stuff. UDPP doesn't have this problem, but as long as UDPP keeps it up with their stupid package, this'll do.

I live in a tropical country, so whatever eyeshadow you apply in the morning would probably have creased and washed out by lunchtime, plus I have oily lids, so it's pretty much long gone in the afternoon. But when I got to try this product, it doesnt only make my eyeshadow last longer, it also makes it more pigmented, which I really love! Definitely would buy this again if I ran out.

I like this packaging. The tube is a great way to ensure that you get all of the product out...however, the formula itself I found to be a little greasy and just a tad too heavy. I prefer my UDPP or Guerlain ombre elcat.

alright so i've been using this for a little less than a week now and i am in loveeee!!! its so great! the first day i was disappointed cuz my eyeshadow still creased but then i realized that i wasnt putting on enough (so if you have problems with this product, try using more!). i'm currently in a musical and this really helps keep my eyeshadow on even under the hot lights. The only complaint is that it doesnt last the WHOLE day. it'll start to crease a little by 8 or 9-ish. honestly though, i'd rather have a little creasing than the hot mess i used to have. overrall, this gets 5/5 lippies!!!

I have really oily lids, so after only 1 or 2 hours I just have a few ugly lookin streaks left on my eye lids from what used to be a gorgeous eye shadow colour!!
I bought shadow insurance after reading all the raving reviews... Tried it on with one of my eye shadows which pulls the dissappearing act the quickest... I found that the staying power of the shadow is enhanced... I mean i put the eye shadow on at 7.00 in the morning and I got home around 10.00 at nite and the eye shadow was still ON!! I cud'nt believe it! It does'nt protect against the creases though, so although the shadow was still on there were still some creases... but beggers can't be choosers...So I am happy that for the 1st time my eyeshadow did'nt just dissappear, so I'll definatley keep repurchasing!

I really do like this product. To be honest, I didn't want it to work because it is expensive in Australia (AUD $34.95)! However compared to priming with other techniques (eg. foundation + powder), I can see it really does make a huge difference to how my makeup looks by the end of the day. It maintains the intensity of my eyeshadows and stops my eyeliner from migrating from the lashline to my lids. It's not perfect because sometimes I still get a small amount of eyeliner smudging under my eyes, but all things considered, it's a product worth trying and I would re-purchase.

I definitely like the tube of this primer better than UDPP. At first, I didn't like the texture...there was clear liquid that came out along with the primer when I first used this and it worried me. However, it does work well. I will have to try different primers on both eyes to test them. I currently prefer the UDPP, but I think that TFSS works just as well. A perfect product would be something like UDPP in the TFSS tube.

Edit: After using this for a while, I find I like it very much. It performs as well as the UDPP, but in a tube. It currently gets 5 stars for everything. continued >>
