I have been using this product for awhile, and I must say I am impressed on how natural it looks on the skin. The color blends really well (I use Beige #3) I have acne-prone, combination, asian skin. I was hesitant in buying it at first because I was afraid it will be quite drying, but I found out that if u use the bobby brown make up base to go along with it, it doesn't dry out the skin ( without it- for me the texture is drying on my skin). It doesn't clog pores and has pretty good staying power. It's better to use it with the brush because it falls so naturally and doesn't exhaust as much product compared with using the sponge that comes with the package. The only downside is that it's very pricey, nevertheless the product is quite practical and the coverage is very lovely so I will probably repurchase :)

I love how the foundation matches my skin tone perfectly (I'm a Beige #3). I found that brush application works best for this one (I generally don't use sponges anyway). I spray a little mixing medium (1 glycerin: 3 water) on a stippling brush, pat the brush on the foundation, and lightly stipple the foundation onto my face. I finish it off with powder to make it last all day.

Great coverage, lasts all day, didn't clog my pores.

I haven't been wearing this too long so my review my be updated or changed. So far so good though. I like this product! I was very upset when I heard the news that Px would be going out of business so I began searching for a new foundation. It's important to me to have something that is oil free, matches my skin tone, medium/full coverage, stays fresh looking all day, and won't break me out. So far this makeup meets all of those needs. At first it seemed a bit yellow to me... but once I blend it and apply powder afterwards it looks great. I hope I can continue to use this stuff. I'd recommend it.

This is a really great product if you want medium to high coverage. It's very buildable and provides a nice even coverage. It's easy to blend and apply. I reccomend using a foundation brush instead of the sponge it comes with, but you can keep the sponge and dap it all over your face (with no product on it) for a more matte finish. It's a little cakey and I feel like my face couldn't breathe under it, but it didn't make me break out. It lasted a good while, but it doesn't last very well through heat or sweat so I recommend that you skip out on this in the summer. Overall, good product, but pricey, look for a dupe. I'm interested too! :D

It's okay. I use it more as a concealer- undereye areas, forehead, nostrils, around the mouth and under the chin, plus any blemishes. I used to use it as an all-over foundation, but wow was it greasy. After 3-4 hours my face would look like an oil slick- and I usually have dry skin! So I only put this on as a concealer, set with powder, and am good to go. Oh, and I used to use a brush- just forget about brushes or sponges. Use your fingers. Blends MUCH better that way. Looks more natural and doesn't cake so easily. Also, use sparingly! Just dab and blend. I might buy this again, I'm not sure right now. It works well for me as a concealer.

I am such a Bobbi fan. I really really wanted to love this product. I hated it. I bought it when it first came out and just hated it. Fast forward a few years to this past winter of 2009 and I thought, what the heck, I must have been wrong, I'll try it again. I used it twice and was so disappointed I just threw it in the trash. It's very heavy, full coverage. My skin is in good shape for what it is. I can apply any foundation without any texture problems. Not this foundation. It shows every single tiny flaw that you have. After about 30 minutes, my face itched like crazy. And my skins natural oils (of which there are a lot) separate this and make it look heavier and more of a masque than when you first put it on. Don't bother. Usually I just leave it for people to decide for themselves, but really, don't bother. I wish Bobbi had more foundation options for oily skin.

This is great stuff. It covers amazingly well, does not itch, washes off easy. I love it so much. I have been using Benefit Some Kinda Gorgeous which is pretty good, but itches and doesn't wash off or cover as well. This does it all.
++ One thing that concerns me for people with oily skin trying this, the SA said she thought it had Shea Butter (??) in it. I haven't researched it, cuz I am old enough it doesn't really matter, no grease. But for younger users, I would ask what moisturizer is in this. Or what makes it creamy.
My skin requires more moisturizer after wearing this, but my skin looks great!!
****Update, eventually my skin was just to dry and annoyed. The other compact foundation was too heavy. I moved on to the Luminous Foundation and my skin is much happier.
I still love the coverage of this compact, it was so easy to use and covered great, just not the right one.

Okay, I found also that this product didn't set very well on my face, it was something about it that didn't feel natural. But I found instead of the sponge applicator that comes with it, I applied it with a foundation brush and it seems to blended in a lot better and didn't require me to use much of it. This is the EXACT colour for my skin which is the only reason why I will use this a lot! Suprisingly it didn't mask the oil which is strange, and needed to blot during the day. Heres the pros and cons:

Pros:
- Good coverage which is buildable
- Compact form so is portable
- Matched my skin tone perfectly

Cons:
- Didn't set well, felt too caked on (from using a tinted moisturiser before so not used to the feel of it)
- Didn't control my oil a great deal which was odd..
- No SPF
- Too pricey, normally $75 AUS but managed to find it at strawberrynet.com.au for $48

I want to try the liquid version, but wouldn't pay $75 for it.. that's the only thing.

I love all things Bobbi Brown, so I thought this was a no brainer. Was I ever disappointed. The foundation was oil free, and yet it leaves a film that just does not seem to set, and seems to just sit on top of your skin all day. If I did touch my face, and a paper later on, I found there was make up transfer. This does not happen with other foundations, so it was very odd, and off putting. I am even afraid to put my head on my hubby's shoulder for fear of transferring the makeup on to his clothing.
I will say the colour selected, warm natural, was dead-on, which is incredibly hard to get with other foundations. I tried it with a primer, and powder, but it still did not set. It did not perform as expected. In spite of this, I still love Bobbi Brown.

I have an acne-prone and combination skin, and buying this product is my biggest mistake since I discovered the world of cosmetics.

Previously, I used BB brightening powder foundation; colour(natural, 4) was very good, it blended really well and managed to get an almost, even texture. Also, amount of oil was controlled moderately.

However, curiosity got the better of me, and so I decided to try for BB Oil-free foundation, thinking that since it is oil-free, the oil-control action would be much better. However, I was wrong.

On the second day after I purchased this product, I decided to use it. However, when I was applying it on my face with the sponge, I noticed that it was very creamy, and didn't turn powdery, AT ALL. So I thought, maybe it will, after I finished applying it on my entire face. And so, I took my eyebrow pencil, and started to draw my eyebrows...I was shocked! It glided too smoothly, that it my eyebrows were so thick, and didn't even look natural!! That was when, I stopped, and took a step backwards, and examined at the face in the mirror; my face was dewy, and oily looking.

With my huge disappointment, and frustration(obviously, the salesperson lied to me, saying that it will turn powdery), I went to work, with the hope that it WILL still turn powdery, and that eventually the dewy look will wear off (dewy look is not great at all if you have combination/oil/acne-prone skin).

With that said, by the time it was 6pm, (I went to the washroom before heading home), I looked haggard, skin was totally greasy and oily.

Today is my second day using it...my mum commented, "I don't think this foundation is for you..."

I am so heading to the dept.store tomorrow to get a normal, liquid or powder foundation!

Any recommendations? I heard bare minerals is really good?
