I bought this in tube form.
I'm not sure if something is wrong with it, but it is very, extremely, really, thick. When i squeeze the tube sometimes I'm scared the tube might burst because I have to squeeze so hard for small amount to come out.
It absorbs quickly and is very moisturizing, I've never tried using it on my face though.
I would love this product, but the fact that the 2nd ingredient is mineral oil turns me away from it. I used a mineral oil-based product in the past and it damaged my face (constant redness, tanned my skin, skin tone became uneven..)
I use it at home for my hands, legs and elbows.
My first time purchasing Nivea Crème was back in high school. I remember not liking it. I didn’t feel it doing anything for my skin, too greasy, and overall useless. Little did I know that the one I purchased long ago was of a different mixture than the original one which is highly praised. The one I purchased was the one made in Mexico.
I’ve only just learned about the one made in Germany, heard it’s far superior. So, I decided to give it another go, this time purchasing the German made crème. Here is what I’ve noticed:
After a few short days of applying it to my face, the zits went away and my face has a sort of softness to it. My makeup also looks better. This does not make my face greasy, as a matter of fact when it absorbs, it really absorbs well. It also sort of lightens the skin on application and even after it has fully absorbed my complexion is overall brighter and rosier. Just an overall brighter, pinky complexion. It also has not broken me out, so that’s a major plus!
This is the only moisturizer that keeps my feet moisturized and cute! Yes, I said cute! Normally, my feet are extremely dry down to my toes and no matter what I use (and I’ve used A LOT of different things) the dryness and ashyness comes back by the end of the day and my toe nails are brittle because they can’t seem to retain moisture. The Nivea crème has worked wonders on my feet. They remain moisturized throughout the day and even into the next day, and my toe nails look healthier and always moisturized.
On the arms and legs: If you’re going bare legged, this gives your legs a great glow, almost making them appear perfect. You know how a Barbie doll's legs has that glowy perfect shine look? Like that. Same for the arms, if you’re going sleeveless.
For the hands? Not so sure it’s doing a great job. My hands have been wrinkly lately. I heard it would take a couple of uses before it heals the hands, so the verdict is still out on that.
Overall, I love it for the other things I’ve mentioned. It’s great for the face, feet, legs and arms. Highly recommend you purchasing the German made version if you can get your hands on it. Not too crazy about the Mexico made version.

I'm quite romantic about retro stuff. I love the tin packaging of this creme. Sadly, I cannot fool myself! It does nothing for my skin. I do not dare using this on my face as I have combination skin. But on my hands and body it just leaves a thick layer, does not absorb easily and it's way too greasy. Once it is worn off my skin, the result is as if I have never put the cream! I guess there are better performing creams out there...

I think this is the crappiest cream I've ever used. It's very greasy and the ingredients are all chemicals. There is nothing in this cream that's beneficial for your skin. I think alot of people gave it good ratings cause it's affordable and cheap but otherwise there is much better creams out there. It did nothing for my skin other than make it oily and I don't have oily skin, I have combination skin with drier cheek area. It also made my skin feel sticky and waxy which I really didn't like. I do not recommend buying this cream at all.
i apply this at night and wake up with super soft skin. it's extremely thick, so it's hard to rub in (which is why I only use it before bed), but when it dries, your skin is so soft and moisturized. my legs also seem like it has a soft glow, or maybe i'm just hallucinating. the scent is nice and soft and this is inexpensive and comes in many sizes, i'd repurchase. This is so inexpensive and should be a staple in everyone's collection.

Great moisturizer for your body but definitely not something you can constantly apply to your face, it's very greasy.

I love this creme. its my HG. i bought the 6.8 oz ( with 2 more in stock ) to keep in my house. while i keep the 1oz in my purse ( i also bought like 5 of these little suckers ). Love love love love love this product. i cannot stress it enough. I absolutely love thick creams and this is by far the thickest. When you apply it, you have to really rub it in because it is so thick. But when it does, it keeps you moisturized for the longest time. absolutely amazing. will keep buying until the end of time . hah

I love this. I use it as a body moisturiser as I would be worried it would be too heavy for my face. First of all it smells lovely, so comforting. It is very thick and a little hard to rub in at first but as it warms up it gets much easier. I put it on at night and wake up with lovely baby soft skin. The best bit is though even though it is thick it doesn't leave a horrible heavy greasy texture on the skin!

My mom is in her late 50's and doesn't have a single wrinkle on her face. Now, obviously there are other reasons why (e.g., she rarely wore make-up, never EVER laid out in the sun or tanning beds, genetics, etc.). But ever since I was little I always remember her using this after a shower on her face and neck. I know that it may not be formulated for the face, but if your skin can tolerate it, I say use it. After months of trying tons of moisturizers and spending WAYYYY too much money, I thought: "Why not try what my mom has been using for years?" So I did. And I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. I only use it at night, after a shower when my skin feels dry. The trick is to put it on your fingertips and rub a bit to warm it up BEFORE applying it to your face. Its very think and needs to be warmed up a bit otherwise you'll be stretching your skin trying to lather it on.
It is heavy and full of moisture, but at night before going to bed, I actually like that feeling. Other moisturizers I tried would feel good on the skin for 5 minutes then disappear and I'd go back to feeling dry. I love how thick this is and how perfectly smooth it makes my skin feel. I have pretty sensitive skin and so far this hasn't caused any problems.
Not saying this is for everyone, just wanted to share my experience with it. May be worth it to give it a try as a night cream?

I like this product a lot. I've never used this product on my back--mainly because I don't need to. My back generates its own oils, without clogging pores and I don't want to change that. So I use it on my legs (after I shave) and on dry skin patches on my legs. I also use it on my forearms.
I think they could be a little more innovative on the packaging though. Packaging means a lot when selling a product.
