I have very small eyelids that occasionally get bigger when I'm extremely tired. This product works very well! It's easy to shape without smudging, but these days...I've been finding that my eyeliner has been feathering out by the end of the day so that it looks like i have raccoon eyes. I hope I'm just wearing it wrong, because I really do like the product..

Sadly, I have to disagree with most people on this product. I have monolids (no crease in my eyelids) and I am always on the look out for some monolid friendly products. This product was always recommended online and by friends but after trying this for months, I have to say I hate it. It smudges, flakes, and just does not cooperate with me at all. I have used it with primer, set it with shadow, let it dry for a long time without blinking, etc. and I am sad to say that it really doesn't work for me. I always end up with flakes on my cheeks or unattractive smudges at the corners of my eyes. I'm glad this product works for so many people, but I would caution fellow monolidders against this product. I got this for about $22 at Nordstrom's or Macy's.

This is the best eyeliner I have ever used, although I typically spend less than $10 on eyeliners. Figured it would be worth if it this truly works as promised. I have very oily lids, and unfortunately do have a bit of smudge by the end of the day. It takes a bit of practice using the formula, which is more dry than I expected from a gel. Although not perfect, it is the best eyeliner I have tried yet and will probably continue to buy it.

I have purchased this liner in Caviar at least three times. It is my absolute favorite because it stays on, gives depth to my eyes, and is dark but not black or harsh. I have a lot of lid and this gives my eyes fantastic definition.

This is the best gel liner I've tried! It stays on for so long and it is very pigmented. It is quite easy to apply with a proper brush and it glides on easily. The only thing that bugs me is that when it's cold outside and your eyes start to run, it's gone pretty fast. I would like it to last even if my eyes were just a bit watery. All in all it is still the best gel liner I've used and would recommend it.

I've used gel eyeliners for 5 years, this is by far my favorite gel eyeliner for several reasons.

It goes on super smoothly and can be applied with many different brushes and does not build up.

black ink is a really opaque black color, and it stays black throughout the day as well as in the pot when it's starts getting old (many blacks turns an ashy washed out color)

It does not flake, smudge or budge throughout the day, not even in a full-on rain storm (yup, tried it). At the same time, it can be easily removed with makeup remover. There's a few seconds to correct any mistakes, and due to formula I can correct any bumps without smudging it all over the place (like the Maybelline one...ugh)

In all of these aspects it is similar to MAC fluidline. The big difference between them and where Bobbi Brown comes out on top, is in terms of tightlining the upper lashline. I always do this and have for close to 10 years now - first with pencil, then with gel, and I need it to stay put. Bobbi Brown's is the only one which stay put on the top waterline for hours and hours until you remove it, even with contacts. With contacts eyeliners often smudge onto the lens, but this one doesn't. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.

Onto packaging. This is by far superior to MAC, as the mac ones does not close properly, thus drying out the product before reaching halfway through the pot. This ones does close properly, and I hit bottom of it before it dried out completely - there's still product being wasted around the edge, but not as much as MAC. Also, the packaging is sleek, pretty and professional-looking as all the Bobbi Brown products are.

It is a bit expensive, but considering quality it is def worth it. I am currently on my 2nd pot of this, and will repurchase as long as they produce it. It does everything I want my eyeliner to do: easy to apply, opaque color, long-lasting no-smudging formula, suitable for sensitive eyes and contacts, and gorgeous packaging.

I've always been a pencil eyeliner kinda gal -- until I kept seeing picture after picture where, post yawn, it looked like race tracks under my eyes. So I set out to find an alternative. After some research, I shelled over the 22 bucks for the pot of gel eyeliner, along with the other 20-something bucks for the brush. I am now a complete convert to gel eyeliner.

I have very dark hair and an olive complexion, so the the eyeliner in black suits me. It also gives my eyes depth I've never obtained before with pencil. I love that it's so easy to put on - my greatest deterrent before - as I hated the difficulty and wait time of liquid eyeliner. With the brush, I can easily apply a clean, dark line with no wait. It also stays on for throughout the day with no runny residue after a long day. LOVE this and the cost is completely justified.

This stuff is THE BEST!!! Bobbi's gel eyeliner lasts until you take it off. It goes on smoothly (use a fine tip liner brush) and there are quite a few colors to choose from. It stays put and doesn't smudge.. Very high quality product and I definitely recommend it.

This eyeliner doesn't smudge and glides on easily with the Bobbi Brown ultra fine tip brush! Love it! I'm using Sepia Ink as I find Caviar Ink and Espresso Ink too dark, they make my eyes look too dramatic.

Don't bother trying to find a drugstore dupe for this - just buy it! It's totally worth the extra $$ b/c what you get for that is:
1. better consistency of product. it glides on smooth & doesn't clump up or get gloppy.
2. easy to clean off both the brush and your eyes!
3. LONG lasting!
4. NO transferring or smudging.
I think this is a classic, staple product for anyone who wants to wear eyeliner. As someone who set out to 'master' eyeliner this year, I must say that which product I used made a HUGE difference and the BB eyeliner is practically foolproof, so long as you're relatively steady with a brush. Awesome stuff. continued >>
