I bought this mascara recently based on the reviews I read on here, and have to say I returned mine already. Maybe I got a bad one? I find the formula was very dry. I love L'oreal mascaras, they seem to work so much better.

I wish I could find another mascara as good as this, because I know this one has beeswax in it and I've been vegan for a while. The truth is, for me, nothing has worked like this product has. It defines the lashes beautifully and garners so many compliments for me from both men and women. I don't know whether this product really lengthens the lashes, since I already have lashed that are kind of long, but it definitely defines them. It has a good brush that can get into the corners and none of that silly silicone/comb business that just causes clumps and makes the lashes look awful.

I'm surprised that a few people have said that it's good for when you're looking for a natural look. I'll qualify this--it doesn't make your lashes look or feel crisp, crunchy, or clumpy, but it won't make you look like you don't have makeup on. If you have dark lashes, that MAY be the case. I have light brown hair and you can definitely see that I'm wearing mascara with this, but it defines them in a way that emphasises what I already have instead of making it seem artificial or anything. I use a lot of mascara when I apply this, and I really like it how you can build the layers on without causing clumping.

I didn't notice it for a few years of use, but with the tube I'm on now, I've noticed that it does gradually dry. This my not affect you if you wear makeup every day, but I wear it at the most once every few days and someones as little as once every week or two, so mine has dried out a bit and gets kind of clumpy, affecting the extent to which you can build layers.

This was my HG mascara for a long time (until I found Max Factor 2000 Calorie) because of its ability to keep my lashes curled and upright all day, due to its light formula.
I have dead straight Asian lashes, which aren't that short, so when they're curled properly they actually look ok without falsies. I curl my lashes before applying any mascara and use the Shu Uemura curler.
This is a fantastic mascara for everyday - it looks good and black and really natural. You will never get clumps, and it builds nicely. To the point where a couple of ppl actually asked if I was wearing falsies!
It is a mascara which won't wreck your lashes, and is relatively moist. No flaking at all. If it is really hot and humid there will be some smudging but on those days I tended to use the waterproof version, which I used the whole time I was in Bali. The wand is a normal medium brush and I prefer the straight one. I hate those rubber brushes!
Definitely try this if you want a cheap mascara (i.e. not $50, this will set you back around $18) which looks natural but is buildable and won't weigh down lashes.

More about me:
Asian normal skin - tending towards combination in summer
Was acne-prone for years
Foundation preference is to look as yellow as possible, absolutely nil pink
MAC NC-30, Shiseido O60
Sunscreen everyday - alternating between Sofina and Invisible Zinc

CLAIM: Full, soft & thick lashes. Quick dissolve system that removes easily.
MY THOUGHTS: Full bristled classic brush makes it easy to apply the mascara evenly - good for when you're getting ready in a rush. It provides slight thickening at the base of my lashes and is able to hold my curl. However, when I wear mascara - I want DRAMATIC results - this is too subtle for my taste.
GOOD FOR: Someone who only wants subtle lash definition. continued >>

Very nice mascara! I normally wear my HG Lancome Definicils, but when I ran out one day and needed a backup, I bought Full 'N Soft. The packaging is decent, brush is a little big, but for $5, you forgive these things. I used this mascara until I ran out, then purchased it again. It isn't as good as Lancome, but for only one fifth the cost, it's a total bargain. I may have found a new broke college student HG.

I really don't love this as much as everyone thought I should considering all the high reviews. It's just good not great. I don't think it makes my lashes full unless I keep going back to layer it. After several layers it looks hard and wet-looking, not soft. It also flakes a little. I have fine hair and medium thickness of the lashes so maybe it's better for thicker lashes.

Man, I hate to rain on this parade... But this just isn't all that I hoped for it to be! I bought this thinking it was going to give me that sort of "controlled clumped, mega volume" look. This is not that case! It does wondering for lengthening, but nothing for volume. It smudges and flakes. And I wish more mascaras would leave the brush OUT of the packaging. I find that this makes the formula stay fresh longer. Anyway, Maybelline's One by One is WAAAY better, best mascara EVER!

★★★ I love this product it plumps up my somewhat sparse eyelashes and it doesn't get hard and flaky like some other volumizing mascaras. This is definitely one of my favorites! continued >>

I love this mascara. I've used it for a few days now and it is everything I have wanted in a mascara. It can be very natural looking but also glamourous as well with 3 coats. I usually only apply one to two coats it it gives me a very natural and full look. I am Asian but I have pretty good lashes after using latisse for a two months. This mascara is now my go-to product everyday. It defines each individual lash, lengthens, and volumizes while all looking quite natural. I've used many of the maybelline mascaras as well as other drug store mascaras and this is my all time favorite. It is comparable to many of the mascaras I have used in the high ends. I use the waterproof one and it holds all day.
