This keeps the dead skin off my face it left my skin soft

pros: this product really goes down deep to clean pores and when i use it i feel like it really cleaned my whole face, and didn't just set on my skin. its also reallllly cheap and exfoliates at the same time.

cons: i have acne that just won't go away. i've tried proactiv, neutrogena, and various acne scrubs and this one is no different...it won't get rid of my acne. also, it makes my face really dry, but nothing a moisturizer won't fix. :)


however...i use epiduo with this wash and the combination really makes my acne dissapear. yay, finallly a solution to my acne! :)

I had an angel come to me when I found this product. If you have oily skin at the end of the day-- take a shower, wash your face with it, leave it on for about 30 seconds, rinse off. Then do your original shower routine and wash your face again with it and then rinse with COLD water. Magic.

This product is very lovely; it does nothing but improve my skin. At first I was skeptical because of the salicylic acid, which tends to irritate my skin...however, this scrub is ah-mazing. The beads are super gentle, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and vibrant. Definitely a staple to my routine.

Okay, so I've been using this product for about 2 months cause I was interested in trying something new and I can't stand it anymore. It lost the effect it had on my face about a few weeks to a month ago. Sure in the beginning it smelled great, refreshing and that cucmber smell I guess lol but it started losing its effect on me. I'm going back to Neutrogena Deep Clean Scrub since that seems to not cause me to break out even more unlike this one. Smelled great but thats about it and oh yeah, it was annoying having all those beads all over the sink :/ I use to see a dermatologist ever since I was a freshman in highschool up to being a junior and its just not worth it, was a waste of my money trying all these different acne products. Neutrogena seems to work fine on my skin...for now.

It is pretty misleading to call this a scrub. I have oily, acne-prone skin that likes to flake.

The best method I've found to use this is after standing in a hot shower for a while, thickly smear on face. Leave it on your face until it starts to tingle, then rinse. This seems to "burn" away some of my flakies.

Not the best product, but I'll use the remaining portion.

I really like this facial cleanser/scrub. I was looking for a cleanser that really made my face 'feel clean' after washing it in the morning. This fits the bill because afterwards, my face really does feel like all of the dirt/makeup from beforehand is gone and it leaves a nice cooling sensation (but not a burning feel like some 'tingly' cleansers have). It definitely does have a smell which might bother some, but it just smells like crisp cucumbers to me.

I don't have breakouts all over my face, just redness and I get breakouts on my chin area quite often. It's too soon to tell if it's going to clear that up completely but I have noticed a difference in my chin area looking less red and pimples less inflamed. Overall I'm really liking this as a daily cleanser (the scrubby beads are gentle enough for every day use for me) and hope it will keep me happy as it has right now! Will update if anything changes.

This product salicylic ingredient, might work on people that is experiencing teenager to early adult hood acne. Will not work as great as it should claims for adult acne 25- 35. As for me, I used to be on product with salicylic acid, but no longer prevent adult acne for me. I recently turned to benzoyl peroxide for acne control. Still searching for a new HG product. This product smell like cucumber and give your skin that tingly after effect. It doesn't unclog the pore as it claim. It infuse that tingle feeling to your skin, so that it make you feel clean. The beds is gentle for people with sensitive skin. This product is not for me cause it just doesnt clean up my pores that great. I think it only clean the surface of the pore but it doesn't completely dig down to your pore to remove excess dirt and oil. That it why I tend to break out in different places. Once in a while the old breakout reappear again.

Meh.
This stuff doesn't unclog my pores or reduce oiliness or anything else it claims to do. It just makes my skin feel tingly and smell like watermelon.
So yeah.

I quite liked this product. I use it about once a week, kind of like an exfoliant. It has a minty tingling feeling, and I think I use too much of it because I am sometimes scared it will burn my face or something because the tingling is so intense. However, it unclogged my pores very well - i find this works best when you apply a little all over a damp face. Then wet your hands with warm water and GENTLY rub in circles. I easily get dried out by scrubs (and I'm SUPER oily) so make sure you monitor your skin's condition and moisturize if necessary :) Great product so far, would repurchase :D
