My poor sister bought this for me. I hate big wands but I gave it a shot. Hate it. I cannot get near the base of my lashes without getting mascara all over my eyelid. And you need to get at the base to get volume! And it clumps like mad. Threw it out!

Don't be fooled by the reviews that say this mascara smudges or flakes. At first it does, but after it's been opened for a few days it stops. Once you let the mascara dry out a bit, just like with every other mascara, it gets so much better. This mascara is super versatile, as it can give you beautiful natural lengthy lashes with a light hand (something I can't really achieve with other mascaras), or it can give you dark voluminous thick lashes with a heavy hand. After about a week of usage, it won't smudge at all. Now when I wear this mascara, I could sleep with it on and not have any blackness under my eyes whatsoever. This is a great mascara, and I'll be happy to repurchase when I run out. I highly recommend it.

Not pleased at all! Does little to nothing for my lashes. Not worth the money at all.

Wow, when people don't like this mascara, they hate it with a passion!

The first few times I used this, I wasn't impressed. It seemed dried out and didn't do much for me. However, after a couple more uses, I guess the brush got coated better because it's amazing now.

At first, I was afraid to really work my lashes with the brush because it's so big. But, I went for it, going kind of side to side zigzagging from root to tip and it made me look like I have a thousand lashes, all fluffed up! I didn't even know I had as many lashes as this stuff showed me I do. NO MORE gaps, no more lashes sticking together, just perfection.

It lengthened pretty well, volumized awesome and held a curl. There was no smudging or flaking, either. When you get this, I recommend right from the start twisting and moving the brush around in the tube and trying to get it coated.

I have sensitive eyes naturally medium textured long eyelashes- this did not do anything for me; I was looking for a false lash effect; instead it reminded me of a high st drugstore brand- Tacky packaging - not so good quality- all overhyped in my opinion- As a makeup artist I always use /advise clients to use the following depending on their requirement and eyelashes (for a false lash effect these are great but can be slightly clumpy if not applied carefully as they are rich to give a dramatic effect appear pricey but well worth the money ) ;MY FAVOURITES:

Some ppl swear by this mascara like my friend- different mascaras work for different people due to the makeup of their natural lashes I think- however, after trying several benefit products I never associate benefit with 'HIGH END' their products are below average in my opinion.

This mascara is a disgusting joke. Doesnt hold a curl, flaked off in 2 hours, gave me racoon eyes by noon...Garbage. Id rather use a Cover Girl mascara than this. I cant believe people pay good money for this, let alone keep repurchasing.

It is just an average mascara. i bought a sample tube at Sephora so i am not sure if it was a bit dried out, but it seemed dry to me, rather, it seemed that the brush did not pick up any product on the body of the brush. There was mascara on the tip, so again, i am not sure if this is the way it is supposed to work???? Anyway, results were mediocre, a bit of length but no real volume, nice dark color, gave some definition to my eyes, wears well, but really, does not hold a candle to Covergirl Lash blast, or YSL Faux Cils or even L'Oreal mascaras.

i did a test of it over 2 days beside great lash, and the only differences were bad differences. this got at my lower lash a lot after sleep, great lash barely did. this also flaked a lot more whereas great lash had two flakes. only better thing was benefit came off easier. don't waste 20 dollhairs on this when a 5 dollhair mascara has it beat.


got this for free, nothing special. the brush is very soft but that's definitely not worth buying the whole thing. don't know how much it costs, but I don't think anyone should buy it. ignore this product everybody.

I wanted to give my drugstore brand mascara a rest and try something new. I bought this mascara online from Benefit Cosmetics. It does a great job at lengthening and making my lashes look bold, although it dries very quick. It doesn't clump or smear under my eyes after a long day at the office. It is also easy to remove with makeup remover wipes. I am interested in trying Benefit's They're Real Mascara. For now, I'll wait until I'm done with this tube.

This is an average product nothing special. This was the first mascara I bought for my self. I guess it achieves the purpose but nothing more. I wasn't very impressed but i still use this product for regular activities. The pros are that it does make your eye look a bit bigger. I would suggest this for first timers that have never used make-up before. Otherwise forget it.
