Honey Lust is a very pretty mid toned golden/peachy color; however, It has alot of fallout and looks pretty glittery on the lids. I look like a disco ball with this on. It used to be one of my favs but not so much anymore.
I absolutely love this shadow. It is a staple for me. A lot of the complaints on here are about fall off. Lustres do that, but it's a matter of using the product wet and there is no problem at all. I prefer to use all of my shadows wet so it certainly wasn't an issue for me. The color is gorgeous. It's simple enough to use alone if you're just running errands and done want a lot on your lids. And also amazing when used as a pop of shimmer for smokey looks. I use this with everything. Dark edge, embark, wedge, all the way to bitter everyyyyything works with this. I love it. When my pan runs out I will be buying a new one.
oooh I love this one. On me it looks sort of bronzy/champagne colored. It looks great with blue eyes and really makes them pop. I knocked off a lippy cause its a bit hard to work with, and the shimmers tend to fall on my cheeks if I don't apply with a base.
This is a beautiful tone for the eyelid before putting a darker colour on. I love it! It makes my blue eyes pop.
I am absolutely in love with this color, but I'm pretty sure I'll never buy it again or any other lustre for that matter. The fallout is kind of annoying, and it takes too much prep for me to make it work. So when I'm in a hurry (which is every day) I just don't want to take the time with it. The color is so beautiful that it draws you in, but it translates into glittery specks when you put it on. It's too bad! If it were a frost or a veluxe pearl I would buy it again and again.
I love MAC products but their price usually deters me from purchasing everything from them, except for this eyeshadow. This was actually the first colour I ever purchased about 4 or 5 years ago and it's the only colour I've consistently repurchased. I love how the colour enhances the look of just about every eyeshadow I own and with my olive complexion really looks great if I decide to put a eyeshadow along my tear duct. I honestly love it, and seeing as I wear my eyeshadow wet, I hsven't noticed the fall out that other users have observed themselves.
i do love this color but i hate the texture. just putting my brush into the pan makes glitter flake off. but alas i love the color so i'd repurchase.
I love this eyeshadow. It is a beautiful, shimmery, neutral honey shade. The name describes this well. It applies easily and blends nicely. It is a standout shade in the MAC permanent eyeshadow collection and I have recommended it to many people. Oh and one more thing, in order to minimize fallout from shimmery eyeshadows - try patting on the shadow with your brush as opposed to sweeping the eyeshadow on the lid.
Honey Lust is a beautiful color. Subtle but shimmering, neutral look.
I like to pair it with Mac's Retro-Speck. And, I find that there's a better color pay-off when I use Mac's Rubenesque paint pot as a base for Honey Lust. Pretty!
This very golden-y neutral shade is a super shimmery eyeshadow that looks prettier in the container than on yours, to be honest.
The color is a nice golden-y color and looks nice on my dark brown eyes, but there's something about the tone I don't like.
As for the shimmer, it's gorgeous but beware: It CAN do some fall out and land underneath your eyes and cheeks. I do like to wear it under the Vanilla pigment, when I actually wear it on my lids instead of a highlight. But apart from that, I wouldn't buy this again just because the tones is really weird and I don't see myself using it so much.
