This is the best lotion/cream I've ever tried on my body. It has definitely soften and toned my my skin. I spend a lot of time outdoor and in the sun and since a month ago my skin started becoming very dry and itchy (due to using a bad sunscreen that didn't work) After using Palmer's for two weeks, the dryness and itchiness stopped and even some of the scars on my legs have become less apparent. I was hesitant in buying it at first because of the smell (overly sweet and chocolaty), but the smell grew on me and now I barely notice it. It absorbs very well and does not feel greasy at all. I will continue to buy this product. Best lotion ever!

I have purchased this product in both the 8.5 oz bottle and the 3.5 oz jar. I should have paid closer attention to the ingredients, because they're not the same. I LOOOVE the cream in the bottle. It is smooth, creamy, and sinks in immediately. It is not particularly 'natural,' and i would certainly not try it on my face, but for the rest of my body, it's amazing. The cream in the jar, however, is much thicker and waxier. The ingredients list is completely different, as well. It still does the job, but it is very, very greasy and remains sticky on my skin long after it should have been absorbed. It also seems more strongly scented than the bottled cream. I have found that it makes a rather nice cuticle, elbow, and foot cream, however. The lotion in the bottle is absolutely HG, tho! <3

This is a great lotion/creme. Really very nice, looks like delicious custard and smells like sweet chocolate cake! Lol. It does make my skin noticeably more toned and even and does give it a glow. I have been getting a lot of compliments lately on how "beautiful" my skin looks. Yay =] the only reason i gave it 4 lippies though is due to a few ingredients..dimethicone, a silicone, and some artificial colors. But, these are at the end of the list so its not so bad. I like to tan in tanning beds so i use this every day to keep my skin young. I usually buy the kind of expensive lotions you get at the salons before you use tanning beds ..but i might try using this instead. It will be an experiment and I'll have to update.

Try this and you'll NEVER want to buy another cream! It's a little hard to find in Canada, but worth the search (Try London Drugs, most Shoppers' don't seem to have it). There are tons of cocoa butter products out there but this is the only one I would really recommend. I grew up using PURE shea butter (the lard-type stuff) and cocoa butter, and most other products that claim to use it aren't really that great and full of chemicals.

I'm usually an all-organic/natural/homemade kind of person when it comes to skincare. The ingredients list is not very frightening, so don't worry. Yes there are a few ingredients that aren't "great" but I'm not a total snob about it and it's impossible to completely avoid all the nasties! It smells awesome, not fake perfumey, so if you're sensitive to fragrance you should be able to use this. Goes on really nicely and absorbs right away - not greasy, and you can layer it on. It's great for after the shower or before bed, but my favourite is like the bottle suggests, right after being outside in the sun! It's cooling and soothing. I actually put this on BEFORE sun exposure.. No sunscreen.. And haven't had a sunburn all summer. I'm almost see-through light skinned.

Keep using this and you'll actually notice a difference in the appearance of your skin. My skin looks glowing and even in tone! I will sometimes use this on my face after cleaning (lightly, obviously... Just pat it on) and it's great. Makes a nice cuticle/nail cream, too.

Like I said, you'll never use anything else!

When I read the reviews, I had no idea just how chocolately this smelled. I sniffed it in the store and was pleased by it, but I will say: it is intense! Not for the faint of...nose. I see a lot of people put off by smells in products, and if you have a fussy nose, do not buy this formula! It is good they have a fragrance-free version, but I will repurchase the Hershey syrup; I kinda like it. lol

Anyway, more importantly, this stuff is nice. Softening, thick, feels moisturizing. It lingers on the hands a while, and needs to be rinsed off, but overall this is a great lotion. I will update to see if it improves my skin tone at all (not really looking for that, just a nice lotion) or if I see any changes. Good product!
EDIT: I put this lotion on at 8pm yesterday. Today, by nearly 3pm, I still smell like chocolate. Unreal! lol
7/20/11: Oohhhh my skinnn! It's so beautiful and soft, I suspect this will fade my old stretch marks a bit, I am noticing them less after only two uses; no lie.

Very good moisturiser! I suffered from a period of pityriasis rosacea, a very itchy skin rash that has no apparent cause and goes away after couple of weeks. This was the only moisturiser that managed to ease the itchiness during that period. I still use it now, it makes my skin nice and smooth. I use the fragrance free one, can't bear the smell of the cocoa, smells like puke to me over time. The fragrance free pump version can be found on iherb at a great price.

Best moisturiser I've ever used! Smells gorgeous - just like chocolate! Makes your skin look and feel really smooth and gives a nice glow. It's not tested on animals either so overall a really great product!

I've been using this for over a year and I use it all over my body, including face.

I know that people will say that you shouldn't because it might be to heavy for your face, but I used it anyway, so you can't exactly do much about it now lol.

I have a really oily t-zone and acne prone skin, this stuff doesn't give me breakouts, but it doesn't stop my oily skin, but it doesn't make it worse either.

I just wanna say that I really do like this stuff.
It does smell like chocolate too, but I guess it depends on who you are, because my friend said it smells like fake/cheap chocolate but I got her into using it hah.

I started getting this stuff because I use to wear my bra to bed and I noticed I had these marks on the side under my arms from wearing it all the time, and I thought this stuff would get rid of it, and it has! After 3-4 months those marks are gone! I thought that because they were so dark I would never get rid of them, but this helped.

Overall this is good stuff! It melts so easily onto your skin, is a good moisturiser, contains vitamin e, and evens out my skin tone a bit.

Rich and creamy, a little goes a long way and leaves skin feeling buttery soft. The scent is heavenly, and fades to a faint candy/chocolate aroma. I've tried many more expensive and organic lotions; this is my go-to product from now on.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lotion. I love it's smell and I love how it softens my skin! It also helped my stretchmark turn from red to a lighter color that's closer to my skin tone!
Unfortunately I haven't seen it in stores/pharmacies and only the baby's formula has been on the shelves, so I'm using that now!
