Great mascara with no clumps! My sis recommended it to me and I love it. Great for length and wears great all day.
I've never been a huge fan of Covergirl mascaras. I find that maybelline mascaras are better, have better brushes, do more, and they smell better. But I heard really good things about this mascara, so I decided to buy it, and I'm fairly impressed. I was using Maybelline's colossal volume mascara, and I wasn't sure if I liked clump crusher enough to switch, but after using it for a few days, I do. Clump crusher and colossal are on the same wavelength, though. I use clump crusher more for a daytime, school look, and colossal for a nighttime, big lashes look. And both of them paired together looks great (: the product does what it promises, but I did find that I had some clumps, although not as many as a normal mascara. It's great for a more natural look, but yet your lashes are still noticeably volumized and lengthened (:
I was VERY happy with this mascara. I just recently bought a second tube, and I could easily see myself repurchasing again in the future. This mascara lengthens and separates my lashes, while giving a decent amount of volume. I wouldn't say it adds a ton of volume, but I prefer a less voluminous mascara for my everyday look. This is a great everyday mascara, and I think Clump Crusher will be a staple in my makeup collection.
Product doesn't clump my lashes which is great, it also doesn't smudge whether I wear one that is regular or waterproof which is also a plus. Although, I am disappointed that it dries quickly. That is my gripe and it is the reason why I took one lippie off. I wish Maybelline would reformulate it.
I don't love this product. But I do really like it. Despite the fact that many say it is like there real by benefit, it isn't to me. There real is extremely heavy on your lashes and clumps a good amount. this on the other hand is very light weight and I really like it! It is however very natural. Great for a natural look, or for teens, or just something to throw on and the grocery store with. I would definitely repurchase this product, considering I am a teenager and don't want to much drama. But for someone looking a a more dramatic mascara, this isn't for you.
I bought this mascara after reading a few reviews, and overall, I'm disappointed. I will stick to Maybelline & Loreal!
Holy wow I love this mascara! I bought it as a recommendation from a friend who started using it. She said it was very similar to benefit they're real so thought I'd give it a go. Normally I don't like plastic spoolys I find it doesn't coat the lashes. This one is great. This mascara lengthens my lashes with no clumps! Imagine that a product that does what it says it does! Normally as well I find mascara aren't good till after a few days of being used. But this one was great from the first use.
By itself, I only would give this mascara a 3. I have longer lashes but need more volume (and no, I was not expecting this to volumize at all) so the separation factor is nice. However, I find the formula too dry to use by itself.
BUT I found that if I use a volumizing mascara beforehand (Voluminous, etc.) and then use the Clump Crusher afterwards.. whoa nelly. Then it becomes a 5. Whole different story. Previously I used an old clean mascara spoolie to separate my lashes but the CC works much better. And it layers just a touch more mascara on my lashes making the combination beautiful. Is it too much effort? Nah, not in my opinion.. but then again, I've always enjoyed using two different mascaras for a layered effect. So, for me this is perfect. (I used to use L'Oreal telescopic as my "separator" but it deposits more mascara than I wanted and can create those dreaded spider eyes if I was not careful)
I purchased the very black regular version but next time I would rather go for the water resistant. I cannot use the regular version on my lower lashes (smudges a bit) but I hope the WR version would not do that and can hold up to random tears.
Overall I love it! I will repurchase when I run out. :)
I just finished writing a review for Maybelline Rocket Volume mascara and was surprised to see that that one didn't have better reviews...meanwhile, I'm equally surprised at the good reviews for this one! People seemed to love this, so when I ran out of my Rocket Volume mascara, I purchased this one instead. First of all, I got the blackest color available...and it's not a deep, inky black like the RV, so that was the first strike against it (I really love an inky black formula...RV has that, as does L'Oreal Carbon Black). This also doesn't give great volume. Yes, it does separate, it's not clumpy, it gives decent length and it's easy to remove, but I'm really not looking for a "natural" look when I apply mascara. I like drama. So, while this was decent, it wasn't anything to write home about and I would not repurchase.
