Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Dark, Warm Hair: Brown, Kinky, Fine Eyes: Brown

Color 11 was so grey and dry and ashy looking on this dark brown skinned girl even though it looked like a good match when swatched on the back of my hand. Unfortunately, it made my skin look dusty and every pore was obvious. I tried the next shade up - 12 is the darkest color available and it turns out is a much better match for me. The shades apparently apply differently than they appear in the bottle.

It is light and feels weightless and once set blends nearly seamlessly with my skin. The demi-matte finish is a little tricky for my combination skin though: cheeks can look a bit dry while my t-zone looks normal on application. I switch to a more moisturizing moisturizer than usual when I'm wearing it to balance the matte finish in my drier areas. After a long work day, my face still looks pretty good although my t-zone definitely has some shine and there may be some creasing around my mouth. I liked the finish best when applied with a stippling brush. One pump gives me the perfect medium coverage that lasts about 5 hours without primer. Photographs really well and looks natural as it wears. With a primer and/or setting spray, it lasts even better and transfers less.

I like the slim tube and haven't had any problems with it leaking and I love that the pump is neat and controllable. I'm not a fan the artificial scent, but it's not lasting or bad. This is my favorite liquid makeup so far by a lot.

I will buy this product again because it is a great shade and because my husband loves the finish of it (he is usually repelled by matte finishes). I also put it side by side on my face (half/half) with makeup forever HD foundation (my fav) and 3 of the makeup artist at Sephora preferred this side. I apply this over a primer (must do that, it's too runny) with a Sephora Pro Airbrush Makeup Brush (the gray one) and it blends pretty good but requires more blending to prevent streaks, I think that people applying it with their hands or a sponge may get too much product on their hands and go through the bottle faster. I am always applying with a synthetic makeup blending brush and I love it. I set with powder, just a bit. It is also a must with this foundation and with my oily skin. I never know if a foundation breaks me out of not because I usually have acne that comes and goes but in a few weeks of use i did not notice anything out of the ordinary. I also use it with a darker BB cream as a foundation to deeper the color a bit becase 3.0 is perfect on me but I am just a bit too pale for my liking. I must use a bronzer with it all the time. I am just one of those people who look sick when pale. The staying power is OK. It is definatelly not a super thick long wear foundation but it is buildable and the finish is just a perfect dewy skin. You look look like you have much less foundatuon that u actually have on. Go get a sample from Sephora and look at the foundation during the day under different lights. You should always do that anyways.

This foundation is absolutely awesome! I have dry-combination skin. My cheeks are as dry as the Sahara desert while my Tzone is super oily. This foundation evens everything out and gives a lovely demi-matte finish. I am shade 2.0 (light warm tone shade) and it's a perfect match. It does tend to showcase my dry cheeks sometimes, nothing a little moisturizer and primer can't fix. Overall, this is a great product if you can dish out the $40 for it. I would totally buy it again if I wasn't a broke high school student!!!

For reference I have dry skin and this foundation surprisingly works on me even though it's demi-matte, as long as I wear a good moisturizer and primer underneath (otherwise I find it does show on my skin and gets too powdery clingy).

The shade selection is very good. My colour with sunless tanning is a 4 (exchanged it from the 3 that I bought earlier), normally I would be a 2.

The coverage is good and buildable, I would say medium (on the high end).

I really love this foundation. I have acne/clogged pore prone skin that is very sensitive. It also tends to be dry, and my cheeks have redness on most days, if not, definitely a pink undertone. This foundation makes my skin look glowy, but not even a bit shimmery or oily looking. It has what I would consider medium coverage, but you could easily make it full by using a bit more. It covers any and all spots I have, and evens me out, especially my cheeks. It does not make the flakiness I sometimes get on the sides of my nose too much more prominent than it is by itself. It also stays put. I use the color 3.5 (#s ending in .5 are for more pink-toned skin)...I definitely thought I'd be matched with a lower #, but the color is perfect. I am pretty pale, with pink undertones as I said, but I hate when foundations add to my pinkness and this does not AT ALL. It simply evens out the redness in my cheeks. It also adds nice color to my face, but yet matches the rest of my (pale) body...hard to explain. I was also very happy that this product has not made me break out in any way...almost all foundations do. I was previously using a Tarte Amazonian Clay BB/tinted moisturizer that was intended to be great for my sensitive skin, but (I think) it increased my ance prone-ness a bit. I've also come to find out the Tarte one did not have enough coverage for me, although I never thought I wanted more coverage. Overall, I am really liking Naked Skin and no longer feel the need to seek out a different foundation, which is rare for me with any product.

I tried a sample and liked it instantly and bought a full size. It is indeed 'naked'. I need more coverage because I have rosacea and nothing covers my redness completely, so a concealer is needed for that. However, for the rest of my face, I loved the non-foundation feeling, how 'natural' it looked, and that I looked like I have an even skin tone.

UPDATE: I notice that this doesn't last as long on my face as the Stila All Day foundation, but it still performs well. Do love the pump though as it doesn't leave 'gunk' on the nozzle unlike the Mac and Nars foundations which do and you have to clean off the nozzle after each use.

I usually wear tinted moisturizer but decided I needed something that would add a little more coverage and stay on all day for work. This foundation is perfect! It goes on so well and isn't cakey at all, really is like Naked Skin! I bought the brush that you use with it and its awesome too, use the brush to stipple and roll along your face to make the product seep into your skin. You don't use a circular motion like you would use to apply bare minerals. The color goes on a little yellow but that disappears quickly, and it's great to cover up any red/pink tones. Anyways, this is a holy grail product and its perfect.

I bought a foundation at a drugstore and unfortunately, it did not match my skin. Plus it made my face look dry and settled into my small fine lines. I decided to go to Ulta and get color matched with the best foundation for oily skin. The girl who helped me recommended this one! She tried a few shades and finally settled on this foundation in shade 5.0 (i am hispanic and have light/medium olive skin). This is by far the best feeling lightest foundation ever! It doesn't look nor feel like i'm wearing makeup at all! It also has good medium coverage. i have a a good amount of light dark spots from old acne scars and it covers them up! I'm not too sure if it would be good for someone with really dark marks or uneven skin texture but if you have smooth skin and want a light, non greasy makeup, GET THIS! It is worth every penny!!!

For reference - my skin is pretty nice. Never struggled with acne, I get the occasional hormonal pimple, and have a small pore here and there, but overall it's pretty good. Since I only use foundation to even out my skin tone, my usual foundation is MAC's Face and Body because I prefer a dewy, glowy look. I can't stand the feeling of a heavy foundation, and I've been blessed with decent skin so I don't have a lot to cover. I've recently gotten on a foundation kick because I wanted something with a little more oomph for special occasions or any time I want to feel a little more 'glam'. I am a MAC NC25 / N3 and I ordered this in 4.0. I was skeptical about ordering online, but I went ahead and did it anyway. I also ordered the Good Karma Optical Blurring brush they recommend with it. When I took the foundation out of the box I noticed how dark it looked and I thought that it wouldn't match. At lunch that same day I went to Ulta and had an SA match me. She picked up 3.0 and 3.5 and both were too light. 4.0 was a dead on match for me. Go figure! As far as the application - it pumps out really watery. But a little goes a LONG way. A pump was all it took to cover my entire face & then some. And the results are amazing. They aren't kidding when they say that you'll look airbrushed. The finish is semi-matte, minimal shine - this is like a satin finish I'd say. Today my routine was as follows: I moisturized, I then applied some of the sample I got of the UD Naked Skin Beauty Balm (amazing btw!), and then I applied this foundation using the Good Karma brush to buff it in. The results were definitely airbrushed, perfect skin. I didn't even find it needed to be set with powder. I have gotten compliments on the look. I sometimes also mix Strobe Cream or Lustre Drops in with it to add some extra glow. Regardless, my skin looks perfect. And it looks like real skin! It's so light and comfortable-it literally feels like nothing on your face. I'd say it's light to medium coverage, but buildable. Retails for $38. The bottle is beautiful. Minimizes pores. Takes away redness. Overall, I'd say it's a do. Make sure you moisturize your skin b/c it can tend to accentuate dry patches.

I thought I found my holy grail foundation with MUF HD foundation....but I was wrong. This stuff is amazing! I have combination skin and always feel like any foundation I put on, even with a primer and powder, ends up sliding off my nose area within 6 hours. This foundation STAYS. It feel like nothing is on my skin at all, and it sinks right in. I don't even feel the need to set it with powder...which is a new concept to me. I would say its medium buildable coverage with a demi matte finish. Its not dewy at all, but its not flat matte for sure...kind of like a lit from within look.

I would say get a sample of this foundation first, everyone's experience with it will be different because we all have different skin types and different needs! It is a great foundation that feels weightless but actually covers (I have rosacea and a thin layer of this is more than enough)
