I bought this having enjoyed lovestruck and looking for the same affect but more neutral.

This balm was pretty (I'm NC/W10 ish with moderately pigmented lips). But so drying, which lovestuch wasn't/isn't. However much balm I put under this it makes my lips so sore.

Was ready to love it but actually made me nervous to try others despite having enjoyed my first one.

Really nice, I wish they would make an equivalent for pink truffle (lip butter). Smooth and long wearing, a bit exxy here but no surprises there.only downside is the peppermint oil... Not great for your skin or lips. Everything else is quite nice.

This works pretty well for me. I don't think it's a true stain, like Benetint or The Balm. but it's easier to apply and does last a long time, AND you don't have to worry about it spilling if you throw it in your purse. I combine Sweetheart and Honey to get the shade that's right for me. I also have this in Romantic, which is nice if I wipe most of it off. These feel great and the lips, kind of conditioning and not at all sticky. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm a wee bit obsessed with these balm stains. When they first came out I purchased several.

Things I love in general about the product: Chubby twist up stick, no sharpening. Lovely mint scent and tingle, very refreshing. Feels extremely light on lips, not greasy or waxy. Moisturizes nicely. Fades evenly for the most part.

Shade specific... Honey is a hard color to imagine if you haven't seen it. It's kind of a mauvey cool pink with a hint of berry attached to it. Honestly I was hoping the tube coloring was more indicative of the color but alas... no. It is deeper than that. On me it comes out as a slightly deeper MLBB type of shade.

I love the product in general but this particular shade doesn't really do it for me. I don't have a problem using this while I own it, but I don't see this shade being a repurchase for me.

I tried four different colors, and this was by far the absolute worst one. As other reviewers have said, it starts out looking like a nice, neutral rose. but as the stain "sets" in, it turns a really ugly bright pink.

the stain is long lasting, and it wears off evenly. but that doesn't matter if the color is going to be super bright, ugly pink.

I am a big fan of these balm stains.

The color Honey remains true to the tube color on me - it brightens slightly after a few minutes of wearing, but no where near as brightly as other people have had it do. This is a perfect MLBB color that I find myself reaching for several times a week!

I like the formula for the most part - the balm is fairly hard so you have to make more swipes than you would with one of the Tarte or Clinique counterparts, but I think it's worth it. If I don't eat I find that Honey lasts for hours without me having to think about it at all.

I use this all the time! I love using a stain but all the others I've tried like the Balm Stainiac and Benefit have left my lips blotchy, dry and they're not very long lasting. This is the only one I've found that actually moisturizes while it stains. Main complaint here though, would be that the color is not at all as advertised. I was hoping for something nudeish and wound up with PINK! Luckily, the color is still flattering on me. I want to try the other shades but I'm afraid of what they'll end up looking like on me, lol!

I love this; it really is MLBB on me. I have been wearing it everyday to work. It is sheer and very office-friendly. It also keeps my lips moisturized!

I really like the adorable chubby crayon design of the product. I think it is a little pricey for a lip balm, but alas it is not just a lip balm it's a balm-stain.

Anyways, I had really wanted this colour until I applied it. I just wish it was a little darker or had more brown in it. The colour looks incredibly mauvey on me and it just drives me nuts. I feel like I'm wearing a colour Nicki Minaj would enjoy, but it's just a tad more sheer.

Though I can't just let the colour rot away in my make up bag, so I apply a light coat over whatever lip balm I'm wearing and then the product gives my lips a slight pink colour.

I have another balm stain in Smitten and I like it much better. Probably because Smitten looks like it's supposed to on my lips. I will not be repurchasing this product. At least in this colour.

This is not the color I would call Honey. This is PINK. It goes on a flattering, muted somewhat warmer shade...then turns HOT PINK later on. If you want hot pink...this is your shade! I wanted...well something honey colored.
