I dont really like this. I found it very watery, and more of a tinted mousituriser than a foundation. I also use the 'stay matte' pressed powder, but that is amazing. Rimmel have never let me down before now, but I am not satisfied at all. :-(

I really didn't like this foundation as it didn't deliver on the claims of being matte or lasting 12 hours. I found the coverage sheer to light and it set to a satiny finish. Did nothing to control oils on my t-zone, oxidized horribly, and when ever I (or items such as a telephone receiver) touched my face the foundation would rub off. Worst part was I trialled this foundation on a day I was at work. I felt embarrassed and couldn't wait to get home to wash my face.

I actually heard about this foundation from my friend who had told me it was amazing, I was in need of a good foundation so I decided to get this one since a lot of people said it was good. I have to say I was very disappointed. It barely gave me any coverage and it didn't match my skin tone that well. I liked the fact that it was lightweight and that it gave me a bit of color considering I am very pale and it blended nicely. But overall it just wasnt the product for me.

This foundation gives me very little coverage if at all. I have far from perfect complexion, so I need a foundation that can cover my imperfections. The consistency is very light & watery, so it's easy to apply with your finger or brush. To me, this product is more of a tinted moisturizer-like than a foundation. If you have a perfect skin or you are comfortable with your complexion & just want to add little something, this foundation will be a great product for you. As other reviewers have mentioned & that was a major disappointment to me besides the light coverage was the fact that it is not matte at all. It has a normal finish; not matte nor dewy & it won't have you stay matte either. I'm not sure why Rimmel is calling this foundation 'stay matte'. Only way for me to use this foundation is to mix it with other foundations because I can't wear this alone. I love the packaging though, nicely compact in a tube. It's easy to store & travel. Love it. It's a shame that the product doesn't deliver. continued >>

I like this product, just not as much as some other cheaper foundations. I had acne, now i just get the occasional spot, but I was left with acne scars mainly on my cheeks and a few around my mouth and I have very pale skin with freckles. This foundation I would say has light/medium coverage, concealer is needed if you have stuff to cover. My problem with this foundation, and the reason I won't buy it again is the difficulty to use. For example, i use a variety of ways to apply my foundation, brush, fingers, sponge, and each method gives the same streaky-ness, patchy, darker in some areas effect. I wish it didn't as I think it's affordable and easily accessible if I run out.

Not the greatest, but not the worst ever. Seems to cover very well, however you have to move fast, it dries very quickly and doesn't blend well. I have VERY oily skin, so it def doesnt help to keep oil at bay like it says, but that could be because I've never found a product to help that.

Hate hate HATE this product.

It emphasizes all the lines, makes your flakies look 10x worse and it is always streaky looking. Not too mention that I'm oily after 2 hours.

Waste of money.

I don't think this is nearly as terrible as the reviews make it out to be. I think the problem is that it's completely mislabeled. It's NOT a matte finish whatsoever. Other than that, it's not bad.

Pros:
Blended easily with a sponge.
Looks pretty natural - no settling into pores or cakiness.
Nice packaging.
Price! Cheap even for a drugstore foundation at just $7.

Cons:
As I mentioned it is NOT a matte finish.
Light coverage. I assumed something geared towards customers with acne would have heavier coverage but this did not.
Color range. This wasn't an issue for me as the True Ivory worked okay (The Ivory probably would have been better, but they were out), but I could see how there wouldn't be a match for everybody.

Overall I think it's an okay product. I haven't tried nearly as many foundations as others on MUA, but I would call this one comparable to my Philosophy SuperBeautiful foundation which cost over 4 times as much.

I will not be repurchasing, but mostly because I need a heavier coverage and do prefer a matte finish.

I had really high hopes for this, unfortunately it was a waste of money. I tried it with everything, a brush, my fingers, a damp sponge and all during the same application. Nothing worked. It wasn't hideous on the skin, but it wasn't great either. The coverage is decent, but the staying power is really poor and it does crease. And it was matte for about an hour before my t-zone got really oily and shiny again, I had to reapply powder a couple of times during the day.
