This is a pale beige lipstick in amplified formula from MAC. No glitter and no shimmer either. Goes on smooth but is really pale and concealer-like, paler than Viva Glam V. Also, it is quite drying despite the amplified formula and hence tends to settle into lip lines. I'll continue to stick to my fave Viva Glam V, which is a little more pink and natural looking. I wouldn't buy Viva Glam Gaga 2 again.

Wow,let me start by saying that when I first saw this lipstick I had no hope that it would look good on me. I am fair with dark hair and eyes and it just seemed that it would wash me out. I decided to give it a try anyway. I simply LOVE this lipstick!!! It is that perfect nude mouth I have been searching over and over for. I was told by my MAC S/A to use it with Cream O Spice liner and not to pile it on or I would get concealer lips. I looks so pretty with the gloss which I also purchased. It didn't wash me out and in fact gave my face a beautiful glow once we applied a light blush. The formula is a dream too, so soft and creamy. I give this 5 stars and would definitely re-purchase.

I actually really, really liked this lip color. Obviously it's not a color that is meant to be worn on its own unless you do like that "concealer" lip look, but with a lipgloss over it this color is amazing! Finally a beige lipstick that's neutral and not too yellow or tan which is what I really like about this. It serves as an awesome base for a perfect pale nude lip...apply the lipstick, blot well and apply lipgloss on top. I tried this with several lipglass colors and they all looked wonderful, but my absolute favorite was MAC's Tinted Lipglass in Viva Glam VI which is a gorgeous sheer plummy color and WOW!!!!!!! LOVE!

Not bad at all. Its not OMG or that different, But i know i will use it up. I am a fan of crem d nude and myth.
MUCH beeter than the 1st for me.
However with Gaga's persona, its either an off beat bold color or this wash out nude.

I didn't buy this product, but I did try it on at my mac counter. I hated it! I was like shiny concealer on my lips. I was so excited when I saw it online and I guess I had to high of expectations
Bottom Line: If you like concealer on your lips buy this, but seriously if you are darker skinned it might be nice...but i don't know for sure

I had such a high hope for this shade, especially after loving Cyndi's version so much, I actually bought 5 backups!. But this shade is like concealer on my lips. Hmmm, not good. For a good nude on my Eurasian medium tone, I like Revlon Colorburst in Nude or Stila Highshine in Diane.

It honestly looked liked I was wearing concealer on my lips. A little goes a very long way. I preferred the Gaga 2 Lipglass - it has a more natural look. BTW - the color looks NOTHING like it does on Gaga's lips in the print ad. it is much, much lighter than that.

MAC lipsticks last well, too.

Cute packaging, with Gaga's signature.

I love the fact the 100% of the proceeds goes to AIDS research. MAC Rules.

Ok... so. I really really like this lipstick along with the lipglass, or the lipglass by itself, or lipstick by itself. However, I will say as with any nude lipsticks you must make sure your lips are moisturized. Also, I'm am between NW40-45 (closer to 40)) and I love this color, but you don't need to pack it on. A dib a dab ul do ya :)... If you apply to much it will look like you just ate ice cream lol.

Oh yeah, i love the way it feels...:)

Wow, I really like this! Based on the picture in the ad, I was not interested in this at all, but I think Lady Gaga must be wearing a brown liner with it, because in real life, Gaga 2 is not at all brown.

It is a nude-flesh-beige color... not as orange-peachy as Cherish, darker than Myth, and warmer than Blankety (if you are familiar with these colors.) With my skintone, NC20, it is quite flattering and works well with smokey eyes, but also doesn't wash out if I wear more neutral eyes.

The finish is very creamy, and quite opaque. I have very pink lips, and this covers them up without me having to apply concealer on my lips first. I agree with others that this formula requires you to exfoliate the lips first, because it will show if you have chapped lips.

I do also like to use a coordinating lipliner sometimes to define the lipline. The one I'm using now is by Dior, called Gingerbread, which is similar in tone to MAC Stripdown.

Do give this a try! I personally find it more wearable than the first Gaga, which I swapped away. continued >>

Okay. I admit it. I only bought this because it says Lady Gaga on it. The color is way too light for me (NW20). I knew that when I bought it, but I still had to have it. The texture is very creamy. The color is very pigmented. I will experiment with it more and will probably end up using it to lighten darker colors. All in all I can't be disappointed since I purchased it with my eyes wide open. For anyone with a darker complexion, I think it would be great.
