It works but it smells bad. I also did not like the packaging.

I LOVE this spray! It's a miracle for these summer months! I am living in a state that has been having horrible heat waves and power outages...this spray has been a godsend! It gives my make-up minimal melting (it's gonna melt to some degree when the weather is 106 degrees and sweat is pouring down my face.) I swear, hands-down, thanks to this spray, I definitely looked better and fresher this past week compared to my co-workers lol. But also, it is refreshing and soothing as a skin pick-me-up throughout the day. It has wonderful skin-loving ingredients (Aloe, Green Tea, Cucumber, Vitamins A, C, & E!) It's so cooling on my face! Even when the weather isn't hellacious (in the winter), this lends my makeup staying power, and I notice the difference between my makeup when I do wear it vs. when I don't. My makeup definitely doesn't stay as long on the days when I don't use it. As for the smell, it has a slight smell to it, just a bit of the aloe and cucumber, not bad at all. Plus the smell fades after about a minute (for me at least.) As for the application, you need to hold the bottle about 3/4 to a full arms length away from your face. If you hold it too close, it will come out too heavy. But, it's not a problem for me, as I hold it an arms length away and the spray is a fine mist by the time it hits my face! This is a little miracle-working gem for only $3! I will not be without it, especially during the summer! continued >>

It works perfect for helping to keep my makeup looking fresh all day!
Also, I didn't find the smell to be one that was unbearable for me at all (and I have what I would consider to be the world's most scent sensitive nose!). Even though it is fragrance free, it does have a discernible aloe+cucumber scent. And, the scent is only noticeable upon application, not after the product has dried (which happens in less than a minute).

This product has become a staple in my makeup regimen. I just do one or two sprays and that's it. This allows for my makeup to stay set for practically all day.

I really enjoy this product. It helps get rid of the powdery finish on my face, and it leaves my skin looking and feeling hydrated. I don't think I noticed any extra staying power though.

I like this product! It does make my makeup stay very long! I even went swimming and my makeup stayed. :) I am very impressed with this product! The only con is that one spritz does not cover my whole face, and if I do two sprays, it will actually drip off of my face. Otherwise it's a nice product! Packaging is nice, and price is very affordable! Will be repurchasing.

I do not really notice any bad odor to this whatsoever! It's amazing, staple in my make up bag now. If you use too much powder or look a little cakey this will take that away and replace it with a fresh, dewy look. LOVE IT! It also makes my make up last much longer. Adore it!

I first ordered this from the website. I had read the reviews and was prepared for it to smell bad. They weren't kidding. It stunk. I swear it smelled like vomit.
But that didn't stop me from using it up. It made my makeup last longer and took away the powdery look and left my skin looking dewy and glowy.
When you first spray it on it'll make your face feel wet. Don't worry. It will dry soon and you'll love the results. Just don't touch your face until it dries.
I used up the bottle and bought a new one at my local Target. This bottle has a TOTALLY different scent. It smells like cucumber/melon? Not like the one I ordered online at all! It works the same. Maybe ELF reformulated it?
This product is worth trying. For a mere $3 you can't go wrong.

It was okay but it broke me out really bad. I had tiny little bumps all over my forehead. It did alright with setting and the price was amazing but it just didnt work for me. Would not repurchase.

This is the first setting spray I have ever used. It was amazing. My makeup would stay in place for hours, even in the humidity of South Florida. One night I went clubbing and came home super tired. I did not wash my face that night. When I woke up the next day, to my surprise, my make up still looked fresh!!!! I could not believe it!

The only reason I will not be buying this product again is because it caused my skin to break out really bad after using it for only a week on a daily basis. It was the absolute worst break out I have had in years. My pores were super clogged.

I didn't understand the difference between "refresher" sprays, "setting" sprays, and "fixing" ("finishing") sprays until I viewed the two superb YouTube videos by Enkore:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEzrGMdkmMc&feature=plcp
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCJF9FpylWg&feature=plcp

According to the videos, "refresher" sprays are comprised of water or ionized water, and are meant to add moisture to the skin.

"Setting" sprays are designed to "meld" the layers of makeup. For example, if you use a liquid foundation with a finishing powder on top, a setting spray will meld the powder layer into the foundation layer. "Setting" sprays are comprised of water and botanicals.

"Fixing" (or "finishing") sprays are meant to extend the wear time of your makeup. Their main ingredient is some form of alcohol.

MAC Fix+ is *not* a "fixing" or "finishing" spray, according to Enkore, because its main ingredients are water and botanicals. It also includes caffeine (common in setting sprays) and butylene glycol (a humectant and emollient). There are no ingredients in Fix+ which would extend makeup wear.

However, it appear the ELF Mist and Set Spray may be a "hybrid" of sorts (setting & fixing spray), as it includes water, propylene glycol (a modfied alcohol) and botanicals. It also includes a copolymer, which *is* a fixative (polymers form a film on your skin).

When applied after my makeup is complete, the spray most definitely extends its wear by several hours. Does it perform as well as Kryolan Derma Color Fixing Spray? Probably not.

Although I've never used the Kryolan Fixing Spray, its main ingredients are Denatured Alcohol, Butane, Propane, and polymers. Bear in mind, though, the Kryolan Fixing Spray was originally developed for theatrical use, which usually means performers aren't wearing it for more and three or four hours at a time. I'm not convinced the ingredients in the Kryolan Fixing Spray might not have a deliterious effect on one's skin if one were to use it everyday in the hope of extending one's makeup for 8+ hours. continued >>
