I've heard a TON of good reviews on this product and I really wanted to try it out. In fact, I had to wait one eff-ing month to save up for it, until I can finally buy it at my local Target. And when I got home, I ran straight into the shower and just slathered this all over my hair.
And when my hair dried, it was just normal. I had my hopes up so high! I have typical straight thick Asian hair, and it tends to frizz when I get out of the shower. I thought that maybe this product could make my hair softer and shinier. Nope. ZIp. Nada.

It didn't make my hair any frizzier, it just didn't do ANYTHING. Nothing. I was so disappointed! I really wanted to like this product alot! But I can't.

Waste of 31$. Will not be purchasing again, unless it somehow works :p

I originally purchased the sample sized packet at a local salon. This product is pricey! Even the sample packet was about 5.00$ CAN. and a large container is about 35.00$. However the treatment works wonders I'd say.

I can definitively see improvement in my hair (which is usually dry, split and damaged at the ends due to styling with a straightener daily) - this product does not mend split ends, but it does prevent them. I have had comments from friends and coworkers after I've used the product, mentioning that my hair looks healthier. I am still on my first large container, and I use about a quarter size of the product each time, every three days. Little is more!

A large container should last minimum 6 months to about 9 i think. The packaging is decent and it helps scrape the entire contained. I just wish there was some kind of grip on the cap so it would be easier to take off when I just get out of the shower. That's my only critique on the product though.

This works even better than Kerastase Masquintense, and you get more product for less cost. My hair is dense, wavy, and long, and this mask makes it silky and manageable. I'm hard to please, and this mask is HG for me.

LOVE IT!! My hair is disgusting nautrally, this weird middle ground between curly and wavy, and frizzy, and damaged, and just GROSS. But seriously, the days that I use this on my hair, I don't NEED to do anything to it in terms of heat styling, and that is a HUGE plus for me! I don't know if it "repairs" damage, because I'm generally sceptical about ANYTHING claiming to repair damage, but this probably does the closest thing possible to it.

I bought this masque after watching and reading a lot of reviews about it. Most of the reviews were positive so I decided to give it a try.

First of all, this product is NOT entirely natural. It does include some silicons, if it bothers you, do not buy it. I don't mind small amount of silicons in my hair, I usually use silicons free shampoo and conditioner, but don't mind if intensive treatment includes some, it works well for me.

The packaging is really nice, it reminds me of coconut, only downside is that the white protective lid is quite difficult to open in the shower, however this is just small downside.

Actual product is very thick and creamy, it has nice clean and fresh scent. It kind of reminds me of apples and it does linger in my hair till the next wash.

How do I use this product:

I have very dry and damaged hair that I use heat on about once every 2 weeks. I use this masque after almost every wash (I wash my hair about 2-3 times a week). I first shampoo and condition my hair, then squeeze excess water of my hair with small towel and apply about dime size of masque on my end and lengths. As I mentioned before this is very thick and creamy masque and I was surprised how little of the product you need to use. So after I apply it on my hair, I put on shower cap and continue in my shower routine. I usually leave it on for about 10 minutes or so then wash it out. Once a week (if possible) I use it after shower and leave it in for longer, up until hour.

Results are great, I have noticed my hair being visibly shinier and so soft after first use. I have been using this for about 2 months and my hair is in much better condition that it used to be in.

It makes hair softer, shinier, less frizzy. I think for people with thin hair it might be a bit too creamy and thick, because I have noticed that when I use it near my roots where my new grown hair are thinner, it looks a bit weight down.

I gave it 5 starts overall, because it did noticeable improve the quality of my hair.

I bought it for 24 pounds on sale. At first I thought it's a lot of money for the hair masque, but I have been using it for 2 months and I am not even in the half of the tub. So money well spent.

I think this is amazing masque for people with damaged, dry, frizzy, curly hair. I would recommend it!

I first heard about the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Mask on YT and several beauty blogs. I fell for the hype and I will agree that the mask is pretty good, but is it worth $30 dollars? It depends. I have thick, course, curly hair which is naturally dry so I am always looking for moisturizing hair products. This mask works but in my opinion, it is not an HG product for me. I think I get better results with the Redken Smooth Down Butter Treatment or the Aussie moist deep 3-min.mask or the Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Conditioning mask. I will say that I love how thick this mask is and the smell is heavenly, it almost rivals the Redken Smooth Down or the Biolage mask. I honestly do not know if I will re-purchase this again due to the price tag. It's around 30 dollars but since I do not use it every time I wash my hair (once a week) since I rotate my masks and shampoos out every other week, it lasts me a while.

I have to be honest I will not re-purchase this again once I run out. I do not understand the hype of this. The smell is to die for but this makes my curly hair really fluffy and lose my curls. I will use up but once it's gone it's gone.

To start I have long, damaged, highlighted, and easily tangled hair. I use leave in's daily and deep masks on my hair twice a week. I purchased this after seeing a lot of positive reviews about it. I have used this product once weekly for about 6 months now. Do I think its the most amazing product in the world? No. Do I think its effective, yes. Since using this product I have seen slow subtle changes in the amount of damage present on my hair, but its taken a very long time and the product is expensive. I purchased the 16.9oz/500ml size from amazon for $25 which is twice the size of the one sold at Ulta for $30. I will continue to use this treatment mask, but will be keeping my eyes open for something better!!

Update: I have since started using the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recover Hair Mask. This stuff gives me better results then the product reviewed above, and can be purchased for around $6 at Walmart; If you looking for a great deep conditioning treatment for your hair I would purchase this first before splurging on the Macadamia Natural Oil!

This product was very hyped up on Youtube, and made me very curious to try it. The first time I used it, I was amazed. My hair was silky smooth and at this time my hair was about down to the middle of my back and extremely damaged. The product smells pretty good, and it comes with a considerable amount of product for how much you actually have to use. I had my hair chopped off to my chin, and the product was still suitable for my hair. The magic that I had experienced my first use is gone, but it's still nice to use. I use it about once a week or once every two weeks depending on how often I wash my hair. It makes my hair feel soft and easy to manage, but it's not a holy grail item for me. It made my especially damaged hair feel nicer, but it doesn't do much for my new healthy short hair besides make it feel a bit softer. I really like the fact that this product uses fairly natural ingredients versus some other deep conditioners I've tried. It's pretty gentle, and I would recommend to anyone with damaged, dry hair.

I have curly and dry hair. This is the best hair mask I have ever come across. I received it as a sample in a swap, used it 5x, fell in love with it . Too bad it is not sold in my country.

I saw a lot of hype about this from youtube beauty guru's, and because I have (had) extremely dry and damaged hair, both from dying and heat, I decided to try this. Let me tell you, this is magic in a tub! It is advertised to be used as a deep repair mask, but I use it as my regular conditioner. I wash my hair every 2-3 days. This has completely turned my hair around! It is soft and manageable, and I love how it makes it soft without turning my hair greasy. The one thing I will say is that this will not fix split ends, although it can make your ends appear slightly less fried. I did not take a star off for this however because no product can truly mend split ends, even the ones that advertise to (which this does not). It is pricey, which is unfortunate, but the tub last me around 2 months and I think that it's totally worth the money. I will purchase again and again.
