This product is great, it's fab, it blends my foundation in like an absolute dream, but why the low rating? Because of its monstrous shedding! I brought 2 of these one in June, they both lasted 3 weeks before starting to shed like mad, maybe it's the way I'm washing them, but I wash it like any normal person would! The price for a product that only lasts a couple of weeks is ridiculous, sure it's only £3.50 in the uk but if I go through one every 3 weeks, Its going to add up!! I've now swapped to the real techniques expert face brush, but let me tell you! I prefer the application of the elf brush alot more! It covers more areas of the face as its bigger, but I just don't want to buy a foundation with such a short life span!
reading the reviews on here, no one seems to have the me problems as me, which I find abit strange.
I will buy this brush again, but only when I need something else from elf!

I'm abit disappointed by the product, I thought it would be like my holy grail, but apparently not!:-(

Will I repurchase it? Hell, YES, YES, 1000 TIMES YES. I am overwhelmed since the first time using it. It's so smooth, like I use silk to cover my face. The foundation blends so well. so nice. Almost no cakey everytime I use. take good care to my skin even after many times being washed

Seriously, It can compete with Channel, Bobbi Brown brush with not even half of the price. It's worth being laid in any of your makeup collection.

I cant believe I haven't written a review for this. First, I want to thank MUA for introducing me to this product as well as other great DS products. Prior to MUA, I only used HE makeup and would never have dreamed of using anything but, and now, almost everything I use and love is DS!

Anyway, onto the review...

This brush is amazing for applying powder, powder foundation and I imagine it would be good for liquid foundation from the reviews but I've yet to try that.

Why it's good:

-it does NOT shed. Never ever. I've never experienced this with any brush before.
-it gives me a flawless and airbrushed finish.
-I have to use less product because it seems to be more efficient at distributing the product.
-of course the price is a plus. It's $3!!

It's sold at Target so go pick one up. 1000+ reviews cannot be wrong and it's so inexpensive anyway.

I love this brush. I am new to makeup, so when it came to getting a brush set, I ended up with choosing the e.l.f. line since it was affordable. I bought two of the studio powder brushes, and they are amazing. It is super soft and really dense. I use it more for blush than for anything else.

ELF products has always been my favorite. So when I finally got my hands on this brush, I was excited at how well this product has become my go-to brush. The dense brush feels soft and evenly applies my powder. It barely have to get seconds of my powder to get a matte finish. I sometimes use this brush for bronzer to help contour the sides of my face.

For $3, this is a great bargain. I use this brush every single day that I wear makeup. I use it to literally, press powder into my face. I just pack on my MUFE Duo Mat powder with this brush and I kick off the excess powder with another fluffy brush, and I'm matte and non-cakey all day. This is a fantastic brush for packing powder on.
Also, this is a great buffing foundation brush. It will leave you with a nice non-streaky finish. The only downfall is it falls apart after about 2 years. But, for only $3 you really can't go wrong.

best powder brush i have ever used. the other day i went to sephora and bought a powder brush that was on sale and it wasn't nearly as good as this $3 brush. i'm looking into getting some eyeshadow brushes from e.l.f. too. why pay more??? love it@

I know lots of people love this brush but I'm a little bit on the fence. I use this with liquid foundation
Pros
Cheap
Leaves a lovely finish in the skin
Bristles are not scratchy

Cons
Sheds every time its washed
Takes 2 days to dry
Too large
Soaks up product if it is applied directly onto the brush

To stop the brush soaking up too much product I apply foundation with my fingers and then use the brush to buff it in and this gives a very nice finish. However, I do find this brush too large as it gets product into my eyebrows and hairline very easily and it takes 2 days to dry after being washed. I think this is a good brush to try if your looking for a type of stippling brush as it is inexpensive and does leave a nice finish. I will be getting more of this style of brush but will not repurchase this exact one.

Almost 1200 reviews. 95% approval rating. Can't say much more than has already been said. I like this brush for setting powder and for applying liquid and mineral foundations.
