I used to use Mac's lip treatment. This is just as good and 1/10th the price. My new HG chapstick!
I was eyeballing this for a while but wanted to wait for a sale, so when this was reduced to $2.49 at Target bought one to test it out. Packaging is standard chapstick packaging. Melts onto the lips but has a tendency to feel a bit greasy. I find it wears off quickly so I'm constantly reapplying. It's lightly scented like coconut, which kills it for me. If this were unscented I'd repurchase but the coconut scent is sickening after a while. I still prefer Kiss My Face's Treat Mint SPF 15 lip balm and would not repurchase.
Wow I have found my HG lip balm, so glad I grabbed it standing in line at Walmart! I've tried $25 lip balms that can't touch this one. So soft and creamy, never peels or clumps up like some balms do. It has Shea, Mango,Avacodo, Olive , and Raspberry butter. Makes me lips ultra smooth and soft!! Definately a must have and less than $3 a tube!
This is a great lip balm. I've been having problems with very dry skin, including my lips, for over a week. I purchased this last night, put it one, then went to bed. I woke up with my chapped lips completely healed, and no more peeling today. It has a nice creamy consistency, and there isn't much color to it - which is great. I only wish it had a better smell (it smells kind of spicy to me), perhaps something fruity, and that's why I took off one lippie. Overall, a an awesome lip balm that I will buy over and over (good thing it's only a couple of dollars)!
This lip balm is very moisturizing, makes an excellent base for lipstick, yet I will only use this at night when I'm going to bed only because it lacks SPF!!! I live in sunny Southern California and SPF is a MUST. If only Chapstick made this with SPF it would have turned into HG material *sighs*. I will stick to my other Chapstick Moisturizer with SPF 15 (the one that comes in a blue tube AND has 100% ratings in P'ville) which does everything the Chapstick 100% Naturals Lip Butter does except it comes with an SPF.
Great stuff, but in my opinion it pretty much does the same as regular chapstick, i chose not to buy again as for the reason just stated. This is a few dollars more then the original and produces the same effect.
Can't believe nobody has reviewed this . . . ? It's an entirely plant butter-based lip balm (no petroleum) that goes on very smooth and soft, lasts forever, and moisturizes like nothing else. All without any really noticeable fragrance/taste. I loathe regular Chap Stick, but this stuff is fantastic! Not heavy or waxy, but still feels protective and soothing. Will definitely repurchase.
I think its safe to say that I will never use another lip balm again, this stuff is all I will ever need. It goes on smooth and even, not very heavy and it has no scent, but it really does moisturize. Every time my lips are chapped, I swipe this on and my lips are smooth and soft again the next day. Utterly amazing and highly recommended.
This stuff is amazing! It goes on soft and smooth. No pulling on your lips or waxy feel and best of all, it works!
this was an impulse purchase on my part a few days ago. I needed a lip balm, but for some reason had removed all of them from my purse. I was planning on picking up another stick of BB lip balm, but I'm always up for trying new products and decided to give this a go. I am so happy I did! This is a great all natural lip balm. It's not as waxy as the BB, but not greasy/shiny like the Desert Essence lip rescue I have. It stays on my lips for a long time so I don't need to reapply often. it softens lips incredibly well, and as other have said has little to no detectable scent/taste. this retails for about $3 a stick, and if the wear I've gotten out of it the last few days 1 stick should last quite a while, even in the dead of winter (as it currently is), which makes it a great bargain.
