There's always a bottle of this kicking around my house. It's my mom's and my sister's favourite. I love all of the St. Ives moisturizer lotions that I have tried. This one, Collagen Elastin, Skin Firming, Vitamin E, Swiss Vanilla, etc. I think I have tried almost all of them... and I haven't found one that I have disliked. I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I know I have very soft skin. It's because I moisturize all the time. More than once a day. If I'm sitting at the computer - I am moisturizing, if I am watching TV, I am moisturizing. When I wake up, when I go to bed, after my shower, after being outside. I seem to always be moisturizing. Every season. And my choice of moisturizer is St. Ives. I go through quite a bit, but the big bottles (600ml) are around $3-5(CAD). Such a low price for such a great product. : )

I absolutely love this stuff, but I really wish they'd just be honest on the packaging and, instead of espousing the awesome natural-ness of the contents, flat out tell you that it's soothing and moisturizing because of mineral oil. Shea butter is about midway through the ingredient list, and oatmeal is *dead last*--after all the red and blue coloring used to turn this lotion a creamy white. That's how contributory it is. I'm not the biggest fan of mineral oil in theory, but this lotion is amazing on my reactive, dry skin, so I overlook it (and pretty much everything comes in plastic cartons anyway, so how picky can I be?). It's non-greasy, smells amazing, and leaves my skin soft and comfortable. It's also amazingly cheap for the quantity. And they have formalized their anti-vivisection policy. I will repurchase.

This lotion made my skin the softest it had ever been in my life. I would just smear it on everyday right out of the shower and in about a week, I was already getting compliments from my boyfriend about how soft my skin was :) The only thing I don't like about this product is that as you get towards the end of the bottle, the pump stops working and there is still a good amound left so you have to store it in a jar or something. But besides that, I will be repurchasing this product over and over again. I hope they never ever discontinue this product! Thanks st. ives!

My legs gets really dry and itchy and all my other lotions weren't helping. This is a great body moisturizer that helped soothe my dry skin. I have occasionally used it on very dry patches on my face- used lightly, it works well.
Goes on smoothly, light fragrance, calms, absorbs quickly, moisturizes, generous amount for around $5, pump container

I have pretty bad eczema on my arms, hands, and a little bit on my feet, and i found that the old products that my mother would use, they helped, but the smell, was HORRID, so i tried this one. And It calms down my skin, and it smells, amazing, Its not Super hydrating, but it still gives some good benifits, I normally put this on, just out of the shower, i fin it works bet then for me.

This is a great lotion! I love the natural ingredients of oatmeal & shea butter! The price is decent but i wish it would last longer..I mostly use this lotion in the wintertime (for my dry skin) but i switch to just using the St. Ives oatmeal & shea butter body wash then Queen Helens coco butter (it's a bit lighter lotion for summer.)
It moisturizes like magic but it will work best if you do it daily right when you get out of the shower (when all your pores are opened up.) The smell is a light chocolately type smell.

HG LOTION. I almost never find my HGs, but this is definitely staying on my dresser for as long as it's on store shelves.
I decided to try it after reading awesome reviews here, and I was lucky enough to come across a smaller size for $3 so I could give it a shot. I'm SO glad I did. This lotion is light, but SERIOUSLY effective. It goes on smooth, absorbs beautifully into the skin, moisturizes and smoothes while never being greasy. Oh, and it smells absolutely wonderful. I can't really describe it as it's not discernibly "oatmeal" or "shea," but either way it's semi-sweet, warm, comforting, and never obtrusive.
This lotion, with continued use, has made my skin look more smooth, bright, and healthy. It feels softer and more even. I love this stuff. <333

I have reactive, sensitive skin that breaks out in hives,
redness and itches like crazy.
I've tried alll the expensive lotions (I'm looking at you
Nivea/Eucerin/Cetaphil...etc).. no can do,
but St. Ive's Oatmeal and Shea is
a fine drugstore product that does the job.

I have sensitive skin that get cracked and irritated,
especially in harsh winter cold. I picked this up at the
Target, which was having a special, and I had a coupon,
so it was a no brainer.
I like skincare products with oatmeal because its a natural
soother, and calms without chemicals.
This is lush, soothing, and does the job.

I bought one for my office, because with all the hand washing
the staff does, I wanted them to have the benefit, as well as me.

I don't know if I'd use this on my face, but for hands, elbows,
knees and feet, good, low cost product,
and the moisture lasts all day.

I love this lotion! It smells GREAT, and is very moisturizing for me. The smell lasts a long time (well, compared to other lotions that I've tried anyway) and it really does feel like my skin is smoother after applying. I also have randomly itchy skin that's prone to redness. If I even brush up against something, I can get blotchy red spots on the sensitive skin on my wrists or thighs if I'm wearing shorts-- and this lotion calms it down. My skin is less itchy!

St. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter body moisturizer is pretty decent but it stands out ONLY BECAUSE it smells soooo freakin good it's a little bit ridiculous. When I first used/sniffed the scent (you have to buy the bottle to smell it) the first impression/reaction I had was: "Omg.. this smells heavenly." If I don't use this lotion only a daily basis, I still have that same impression because I don't force myself to get sick of it! The only downfall is that the product claims to help with itchiness which it barely does and the fact that it isn't moisturizing enough!
