This eyeliner in black is really dark. It applies really easily and looks great. I wish my Walgreens had this in brown though.
-EXTREMELY easy to use
-great for beginners
-thin felt tip
-shaped like a pen for easy application
-SMUDGES LIKE CRAZY. i bought this because liquid eyeliners are generally more long lasting than pencils, but this is worse than my pencil liners.
-Doesn't dry quickly. maybe that's why it smudges so easily
Honestly, this eyeliner has so much potential, but the fact that it smudges on me is so disappointing. Will not repurchase
I like this eyeliner. I've had it for 4 months, initially purchasing it because there was a play that I was helping with makeup in.
The design is very sleek and easily accessible. It reminds me of a pen. I really like the felt-tip applicator. It certainly is very precise, and leaves a matte and bold line. It's very quick to apply as well, dries in a matter of seconds. It doesn't smudge at all which is great. However, it HAS started to show signs of drying, mostly at the tip.
This is my Holy Grail Eyeliner.
The packaging is cute, sleak black with a pop off cap. I have had my liner for 7 months now. It has not showed signs of drying up which in some reviews on here have been the main problem of this liner oddly enough.
I have green eyes with blue rims and the color this comes in makes them POP. Its a very saturated Black. No shimmer, most certainly not matte, it's finish looks like a satin material on your lid.
The application process is simple, quick, and easy. You can do an extremely thin line to a dramatic bold line. List is endless,
The drying time is quick but be cautious of rubbing your eyes. It most certainly is not waterproof and can be easily removed with makeup remover or good ol fashioned soap and water. In experiance I learned this liner lasts you through 24hours+...
This is my everyday eyeliner. With my curiosity i always look for bigger better things, but im content with this liner. I will be repurchasing!
I am very happy I purchased this. I am a eyeliner junkie, I usually use liquid eyeliner as I am a lover of the thick cat eye and I always wear falsies, so even when I am not doing a dramatic eyeliner I still need a thin liner to blend them in and define my eyes. I started getting frustrated with my liquid liners because even though I have years of experience, sometimes one eye would come out better than the other and I can't always get the wing as sharp as I'd prefer. Don't get me wrong - I love my liquid liner, but it is so time consuming getting it perfect and letting it dry. I can't count how many times I've ruined the best eyeshadow because my liquid liner hit my lids and smeared black all over my beautiful creations. Needless to say, I was sick of being frustrated and wanted something faster that would last just as long and be just as black even when I wear frosty or shimmery eyeshadows without making my line less black and fall out affecting the boldness of my eyeliner. I was previously using MIlani's Eye Tech Expert pen liner and I really loved it but I somehow lost my cap and it dried out :( It definitely was a great eyeliner pen, and this seriously is almost the same in comparison. I love how thin the eyeliner tip is, it's perfect for creating a thin line on the inner corner of my smaller almond eyes and perfect for thicker sharp wings on my outer eye. The pen is very moist and has continuous flow, I never have to shake it or anything like that to keep the product flowing like other pens I have tried. It is just as black and matte as my favorite Almay Liquid Eyeliner which is what I was looking for. It is also MUCH easier and faster to apply, not to mention dries much faster. It lasts fairly well with my shimmery eyeshadows although I do have to go over it a few times because there is some fade. Once I do it a few times though, it seems to stay very black and isn't affected. I am very happy the lady at Walgreens recommended this to me, and it was buy one get one 50% off so I also purchased the Lash Stiletto Liquid Liner which I really like aswell.
As many of us do, i struggle with liquid eye liners a bit. i find them quite hard to work with and have trouble getting a perfect line, but with this eyeliner, my eyes look flawless every time, the tip is so precise and the product flow is extraordinary! i use this almost every day, and probably will for the rest of my life, love this product! <3
This is my first review - I feel like I have the duty to review this amazing product (Iīm sorry if my English is not perfect, by the way).
Well...I must say I do not use a lot of makeup, but there are two items I cannot live without: liquid foundation (for reference: Healthy mix foundation, my HG) and eyeliner. I have tried MANY eyeliners in the past, and have found already my holygrail pencil for the waterline: Bourjois countour clubbing waterproof in Black. However, I was still searching for an eyeliner that stays put on my upper eyelid - I love to do a cat eye. But I never came across a eyeliner that doesnīt smudge / migrate to the area near my eyebrows - but I must admit that Iīve always used pencil eyeliners - never tried liquid liners before, because I thought they are really difficult to use ( I have shaky hands). the eyeliner pencils I used before didnīt last on my upper eyelid - the colour was not the itense black that I love, and they did fade and smudge, which is quite annoying for me. I never felt confident using them, I was always checking my make up in the mirror and that sucked.
I was about to give up when I found this baby - Maybelline master precise in black.. This stuff stays all day without smudges (even when I sweat or itīs raining - I even cried with it put on and nothing happened) - and that says a lot, because no eyeliner stayed all day on my eyelid without the need to re-touch it. I have zero experience with liquid liners and I found this super easy to use - is a pen so is like drawing in your skin. I can do a very thin line using the very end of the tip or do a medium/thick line using the pen on its side - I prefer using the sides of the tip because they have more product in it so that way you get the blackest black - I think the end of the tip does not always perform - but I donīt want a super thin line so that is not a problem for me. I have this pen for several weeks (using it daily) and unlike other liquid pens I have read about, this stuff does not dry out - the colour is now the same as it was when I bought it. I store it horizontally to prevent it from drying, and put the cap right after each use. This is a cheap eyeliner, considering that is liquid ( 9 euros here in Portugal) and I think this can last at least 2 months with daily use (I will update if mine lasts longer ).
So, overall this is a GREAT eyeliner: doesnīt smudge or fade, is long lasting (no need to re-touch during the day, even without a primer or powder underneath - I apply this on my bare skin ), waterproof, easy to use, cheap, the tip does not dry, has a great pigmentation, does not irritate my sensitive skin and eyes (I use contact lenses)...I cannot recommend it more! this eyeliner changed my life..finally I feel confident using an eyeliner because I know that it will stay put during the day, without panda eyes :)
This really isn't a bad product at all. It's best for thinner lines, or at least thin enough where it can't reach your crease. I always wear this with an eyelid primer, the $1 Elf one and it doesn't smudge as long as you're careful. The tip is very precise and gentle, and it's best to shake the pen before each use. I have oily lids and I think this is a very good product for them. My winged eyeliner is extremely precise now, hence the name.
If you want a long-lasting liner THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. If you have oily lids and need something waterproof/sweatproof THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. This product COMPLETELY disappears with the littlest bit of water and smudges very easily even on clean, oil-free skin. it doesn't last at all and is just horrible.
however, it does glide and draw well and the tip flows easily. the drawing on experience i would compare to my favourite stila liquid eyeliner, but looks good for a maximum of one hour. i have monolids sometimes (where my eyelids fold under the skin above it so eyeliner easily smudges) so maybe this is just me but there are many other eyeliners out there that are better. it costed me $11 (canada) and i hope that with primer itll last better.
Would give this a 5 if this was waterproof... it stayed put & dark for the most part, but something was in my eye & started to water, it smudged where i had put it on the outer part of my lower lid, but the rest was fine. But this did help me get into using liquid eyeliner because of the precision with this.
