I LOVE THIS MASK! I have relatively clear and healthy skin to begin with, but enjoy the softening and "brightening" effects of many masks. This has been my HG mask for quite a while! It's cheap and does amazing things to my skin. It brightens my entire face and leaves it feeling extremely soft. Love this stuff!
best inexpensive mask so far..it really purges my whitehead and my face looks clean and brighter each time i used this...def will buy this again n again.
THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME! It shrunk my acne loads and made my skin so smooth!
For $4.00, I would definitely recommend this product.
I got this in the sample (or travel, whatever you want to call it) size for less than $1.40 at Walmart. This stuff is awesome. There are about four (!!) uses in a single packet. I get a different one each time I am there, because they are so cheap. This is my second one (I tried the Dead Sea one first) and since I enjoyed the Dead Sea one, I decided to try a different one. This mask actually does what it claims to. I noticed my pores aren't so clogged with dirt. My face feels a lot cleaner. A couple of weeks ago, I had a little bit of tiny blackheads on my nose. A lot of them have disappeared since the first use of this mask. This one is so great, that I might not even try the others (of course I will) and buy a full size version of this one. The scent is scrumptious and the results are amazing. My skin feels so soft and actually feels gorgeous after I use this!
I've got a couple other masks from Freeman that I like but this one is so-so. In terms of clay masks I like Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask better and they're about the same in price. The results aren't quite as good as the Queen Helene one for me and it has some sort of strong fragrance that stings my skin and makes my eyes water. It's bearable but for the same price I'll take the one that doesn't make me cry.
This mask is seriously amazing. Normally I don't expect much from drugstore skin products, but this mask has worked wonders for my skin. I have combination skin with a bit of acne on my chin. Because of the acne products I use I also find that my chin gets incredibly dry. I use this mask on my chin to balance out my skin and it does the trick. Immediately after using the mask I find a lot of redness of the acne has gone away and in a few days all the pimples clear up without my skin getting overly dry. Every time I feel a pimple coming on I use this mask and it does the trick. I also think I paid about $3.99 for this at CVS so the price cannot be beat.
I do find the smell to be a little strange. It has a bit of a fake avocado scent to it but not overpowering and not so bad that it would keep me from using this mask.
Since I was not able to find the mint julep mask in my area (was not sold ANYWHERE, even at my Sallys!), I decided to pick this up since I've heard that it's somewhat similar... and wow! I bought this one a whim when I saw it on sale for $4, for the price I figured why not! I read reviews on other freeman products and there was nothing but raves, so I decided to get this, and I am so glad I did!
When I first used it, I applied a slightly thicker layer on the area where my pores are bigger, and on my t-zone. After leaving it on for 20 min or so I rinsed it off and immediately noticed that the dirt from my pores were coming out. After lightly exfoliating I applied the mask again in two days and the same thing happened. After using this every couple of days for the past 3 weeks, my pores have disappeared and slightly shrunk. Along with exfoliating regularly and using my clarisonic every night, it's significantly helped my pore area. It also has a nice cooling effect when you apply it, which I love because it's very calming on my skin. I don't worry too much about the moisturizing properties since I have extremely oily skin. Would definitely repurchase, and especially at the price it works fine!
Can someone help me understand. I used this product and now all i can see is my pores. They weren't noticable before but now i cant get them to close. my skin broke out im guessing because everything has been sinking into my skin. any advice please.
Wonderful stuff! I use this once a week, or whenever I feel like I need a pick me up. Its dirt cheap, and you get a lotta product in it. It feels like it was refrigerated when you put it on, but in a nice cooling way. The texture is smooth and creamy, and goes on really well. I leave it on for at least 15 minutes, and rinse it off. It definitely sucks a lot of the gunk out of your nose. When you are rinsing it off you can immediately feel how soft and smooth it makes your skin. I have a pretty ruddy complexion, and it evens out my skin tone a lot and makes the redness calm down. It leaves my skin tighter, glowy, and it shrinks the appearance of pores like a mofo.
1 con however- it's hard to rinse it all off. I guess it's because it's a clay mask, but it leaves residue. I'd recommend doing this just before a shower so you can wash it all off without having to scrub. For that fact, I may try some other masks out, but I'll always have this one on hand.
I will not be re-purchasing this product because I've had moderately dry, flaky, tight and sensitized skin for the last week. The next day after my first use, my skin was peeling like crazy.
I am sure that it was this particular product because this is the only product I've introduced into my regular skin care regime, my diet has been healthy, weather conditions have not changed, period was regular, etc. Also, this mask stung my face majorly. Does Clay, avocado and oatmeal do that? I think not.
Despite the great price and appealing naturalness of clay, avocado and oatmeal, I will not repurchasing.
