This stuff is the best! I've been using it for a long time and it's always been great. Not only doesn it moisturize my lips, lashes, etc., but it removes eye make-up well. It also calms down the dry skin on my hands in the winter and soothes burns. A great product to have around the house for lots of everyday uses. Would repurchase.
This is a great multi-purpose product. I use it on my lips when I want a little shine. It's a good lip balm as well, though I like Lansinoh Lanolin better. Brushing it on my lashes a minutes before washing my face loosens up mascara (though I have to make sure I remove every trace of it). It's good for dry elbows and knees. I put down a thin layer of it on elbows, knees, knuckles, toes, and ankles before applying sunless tanner. It's good for my kids too. I apply it to my kids' cheeks before they eat spaghetti or anything with tomato sauce that can stain their cheeks. It's also a good substitute for A+D ointment for diaper rash. There will always be a tub of Vaseline in my house.
I use this on my lips in lieu of lip balm or gloss because I have never found a product that moisturizes, doesn't taste like anything as well as give my lips a little shine. Love this, will always use it. TIP: Since I can't find it anymore in the little tubes so I save my little lip gloss pots and empty them out and using the squeeze tube size of Vaseline (ironically called the convenience size), I fill them up. That way I always have a little with me and don't have to lug around a huge tube or jar.

I only use it to moisturize lips (not natural on other parts of the body), but it's dirt cheap and works well. I usually use it at night over chapstick and my lips are nice and soft in the morning. Also great as makeup remover, just for the little bit that is left. It also doesn't taste like anything, which I love.
Great for dry spot. Have no problem using it on abraded skin. Petroleum (cosmetics-grade) is considered to be safe and non-irritating.
This is good stuff. I was a diehard fan of another skincare line (still am, actually but for some reason their moisturizers have started to irritate me and break me out). I started using Vaseline a few months ago and my skin has never been better. It's smoother, my old acne scars are gone, my tone had improved. I have clogged pores on my nose and their much smaller and not as clogged. I'm African American and I just recently had an intense allergic reaction on my skin from a fabric softener I was using on my facial towels resulting in my skin lightening around my mouth and on my left cheek. I looked awful. I had to wear makeup to cover it up, even just to go to the store. I'm only using Vaseline on my face right now. I even quit my sunscreen for now because my skin was so raw from the allergic reaction, that would irriate it. My color is coming back and evening out, thank goodness. Definately a keeper. I also use this on my hair at night to moisturize and it keeps it really soft (I have natural hair).

The first thing I wanted to do was address those who reviewed Vaseline with 1 lipstick, none based on it's performance but based on things you've read. suckers. Not one of you had actually used it, if you had, you might realise just how brilliant this stuff is.
PJ is far more natural than most of the stuff you put on your faces, so it's a bi product of making oil, oil is of course natural. Just because it doesn't come from a plant doesn't mean it's bad.
Anyway I love this product, I use it all over my face at night and I wake up in the morning with great, soft skin and don't have any dryness. It's also great as a lip balm too.
Vaseline also helps speed up healing, and acts as a perfect barrier to keep germs out.
Vaseline DOES NOT, absolutely DOES NOT clog your pores. If I don't choose my products wisely then my pores become blocked easily. Vaseline is one of the few products that doesn't clog my pores.
I absolutely 100% recommend this product to anybody.

I have allergies and blow my nose on a daily basis; as a result, I get flaky skin around my nostrils and above my lips, and vaseline never helps as much as BAG BALM does. It feels like a band-aid in the sense that it's just 'covering up' the problem, and not 'curing' it.
This stuff is brilliant. Ive been using it on my lips and eyelashes for years, and only recently started using it on my face and eye area. I wake up with radiant, smooth skin, and I only need to use a teensy amount that completely absorbs soon after application. I have combination skin (with a really greasy forehead!) and vaseline treatment at night seems to curb the greasiness in the morning somewhat.
For those of you warning against using vaseline on your face, do you realise that many MANY facial moisturisers are vaseline based? Even very expensive ones such as Creme de La Mer and 'The Cream' ($450!!???) by Cle de Peau..
Anyway, I am going to try experimenting with this, maybe adding some antioxidants in the form of serums, but if these don't work out I will take vaseline as is...

Vaseline is so greasy. Hence it is a "chemical grease".
The main reason i don't use it is because if you go outside, it is attracting the sun's damaging rays to every area of your body on which you have applied it (lips, body, face et cetera). Don't use it. Seriously. Unless you WANT to age more quickly.
