Pros:
Does what its supposed to do, make your face matte.
Doesn't cake up

Cons:
It doesn't cover ANYTHING, its literally transparent, so I don't know why you have to "find" your shade....
The packaging is a bit awkward.

overall:
This is my first powder and I love it, but I'd like something with a bit more coverage...

it's comparable to mac powders when applied with the puff it comes with. love it, but the packaging is kind of annoying.

Overall I really like this. I don't usually use foundations or powders, because every one I've tried ends up looking cakey or makes my skin oilier that it would have been had I just left it completely alone.

However, this is not like that. If I apply it with a sponge (not the one it comes with but an actual makeup sponge) it gives a little bit more coverage and it amplifies the anti-oily power of this product, although after reapplication it tends to look a little cakey. If I apply it with a brush it gives it a smoother and less cakey look, but my face tends to get oily again a bit quicker and also has slightly less coverage. Either way I apply it, I still get a little bit of coverage (enough to even out any slight blotchiness) and I still have to touch it up during the day.

Other than the need to touch up, this works well at preventing shine. My skin is normally quite oily, but this combats it well, while also evening out my skin tone a little bit and not causing me to break out.

I do apply it over a moisturizer to prevent any dryness, because this powder will accentuate dry skin.

The is the powder that I currently use on a daily basis. I am experimenting with others, though, but at the moment it's the one that works best for me. I have very oily skin and I find that this powder helps set my foundation, give my skin a nice matt finish and lasts a long time. I do need to touch up during the day, but when I do, my makeup looks refreshed again, without looking cakey. I like how soft of a finish it provides and how easily it goes on. I use a kabuki brush to put it on so I would prefer if the mirror was on top, not underneath the compact since I throw out the pad that it comes with anyway. I definitely like the feel, coverage, and price and will continue to purchase until I can find something that helps my makeup last all day (if that's possible!) Going to try some silica powder next!

This powder is really cheap between $6-7 bucks at target.I've seen it even cheaper than that. Its great for all skin types especially oily skin. The color selection is awesome b/c they offer neutral options for light-medium skintones. The packaging i'm not too fond it b/c of the swivel up mirrow which can be a bit awkward I prefer a compact instead. And the overall look of the powder isn't all that great. Aethetics aside its a great powder for ppl on a budget its never broken me out and that's a big plus. You do have to retouch through out the day depending upon how oily your skin is.

I bought this after reading MUA reviews. I am always looking for a 'better' powder as it seems hard for me to find what I want, but I do like this and will buy it again. Pros: sets make-up after initial application, sets concealer, does not provide much color (I want my tinted moisturizer to do that, not my powder), matte keeps shine off most of day, packaging is good if you use a pad because it holds it separately. Cons: doesn't provide color (if looking for that), I use a kabuki brush that doesn't fit into packaging at all.

This powder is just fine, nothing crazy about it. You can't use it as a powder on it's own because it gives no coverage. It is only good as a setting powder. The colours are weird, like MAC's blot powder, the colour you get doesn't matter because there is no colour payoff at all, and it just all mixes in with your skin anyway. I wouldn't buy this again. It's just fine.

I love this powder, it really has saved me in these summer months. I have gone through 3 compacts already. What I love about this is: the amazing matte finish I get and how flawless my foundation looks, not to mention shine control. I have uneven coloring, sunspots, freckles and dark circles. I dont use concealer!! at all. I wear studio fix fluid and this powder, and you can not tell of any imperfections. I can not leave the house without this. I use it for setting my foundation and I chuck a spare in my handbag for touch ups. What I dont like about this product is you hit pan within 3 weeks if you use it everyday, hence why I have gone through 3. In addition I dont really like the swivel like others have mentioned. it really is annoying!!

I used to use MAC Blot Powder to set my make up and control my oil throughout the day, which worked great, but when I heard that Maybelline's Dream Matte Pressed Powder was comparable at a fraction of the cost, I had to try it!

And I have to say--it DOES compare! I'm never spending $20 on MAC's Blot Powder ever again, since I can get this for $7! It controls shine and sets my make up just as effectively, if not better. It doesn't cake or look too powdery either, although I'm always careful with application anyway (I use a kabuki brush).

The only thing I don't like about it is the packaging. While the swivel mirror is sort of cool, I don't think it's intuitive or practical.

Overall, I definitely recommend. (:

The first time I used this I absolutely loved it for shine control, plus it didn't break me out at all (very acne prone). I went through the entire product then bought a new one. I'm MAC NW20 and I use "light 4-5".

But, for some reason, I just don't like this as much now. Maybe because I'm battling a bad outbreak on my left cheek.. and the powder is accentuating any dry/flakiness to an unsightly degree! I tried more moisture and rubbing with a microfiber towel, but it still looks bad when I reapply the powder. I think this is great for smooth, non flaky skin, though. It's definitely great for oily skin and it's supposed to work well for those prone to clogs, so still a good product.
