Im on the fence about this lip balm . I find when i apply this, my lips are soft and smooth and really moisturized , BUT when the lip blam slowly wears away i find my lips are dry again ! When i used softlips lip balm my lips stayed soft all day after one application . But is packaging is cute the smell and taste is good but as for the product itself it doesn't keep my lips moisturized . Like i said im on the fence
I just about finished my sweet mint balm and was completely in love with it so I decided to try out a new flavor to see if I would feel the same towards the others....Wrong choice. I felt like this had a weird almost perfume-like taste/smell to it and was not as moisturizing. I much prefer the mint balm. The only reason I will probably re-buy this is because I immediately gave it away but I love the color of the sphere and for some reason want to collect them all. It definitely won't be on my first-to-use list though.
I bought this purely because it is SUPER CUTE. The lipbalm itself is okay I suppose - I think it's meant to be natural etc. etc., but that's not really anything special because there are tonnes of natural product lip balms floating around the market. The texture is good, it's not sticky which is a major plus in my book. The smell is yummy and not overpowering. All in all, a good little lip balm to have in case of an emergency.
Would I buy this again? No. But brownie points to EOS for the cutest little packaging ever.
Love this lip balm. Smells good and applies smoothly. Keeps my lips moisturized. And its super cute!
Delicious lip balm which is smooth and moisturizing. The color of the shpere is really pretty too, a bright coral. This one and the Lemon Drop one seem to be the most moisturizing, though this one is slightly less creamy than the Lemon Drop one. Love these balms. My only complaints, as other reviewers have mentioned is that it's hard to get all of the product out once you wear down the sphere. I ended up cutting the mesh that holds the product and using the ball like a pot, and using my finger to get it all out. And that they taste so good you tend to lick them all off your lips when weraing them so you need to re-apply often. Otherwise love and will re-purchase.
I do like this lipbalm for the sheer novelty of it. It does smell just like those gummy peach rings I loved as a kid, which is a plus. The packaging is cute, and sturdy. The only complaint I have is with the balm itself. Its very very waxy and just sits on top of my lips. I will buy these again only because they are so cheap and fun.
I bought this product because I liked the packaging but the balm is much too sweet and encourages lip-licking. Ordinary Chapstick is more moisturizing.
I actually like this lip balm, however it IS a bit over-hyped. It's not anything revolutionary; I get the same amount of moisture or more from any other lip balm. I personally use Aquaphor on my lips and my lips are super moisturized throughout the whole day.
The packaging is adorable. It's really fun and that's pretty much the highlight of this product. The way it's shaped makes it easy and fast to apply. I smile and rub the dome of the balm over my lips; easy peasy.
Price-wise, I bought this at Walmart for almost $3, but I think it sells elsewhere for $4. Not really cheap IMO, so minus a lippie for that and another one for lack of lasting moisture.
The product itself smells like what other reviewers say: gummy peach rings. It both smells and tastes yummy, which is the one thing I wish Carmex had. The appeal of the packaging and the pleasant smell/tastes is what makes me love applying this lip balm. But like I said before, if you're looking for a intense moisturizing lip balm that lasts the whole day, this is not it.
I wasn't too keen on the Sweet Mint and Honeysuckle Honeydew versions of this (mostly because of their odd, gritty texture), but I really like this one!
The scent is very unique and cheery - like strawberries and oranges. :)
The texture of this one is perfectly smooth, no grittyness or greasiness. It's thick and coats lips well. It comes off a little too easily, but it smells so nice I don't really mind. It does a great job of moisturizing and keeping lips from feeling burned in the cold.
I know some people aren't in love with the packaging. It is bulky, so travel by pocket is a no, but the large container is great for me becasue it makes it easy to find in my backpack. :)
I'll definately buy another when this one runs out.
Saw this in the checkout aisle and decided to buy it because the packaging is so cute. I like the smell. It's very peachy, reminiscent of the gummy peach rings. It doesn't seem to moisturize very well though. My lips are chapped because it is winter. I prefer using my usual, Carmex, for moisturizing my lips but other than that, it does a decent job. I will not repurchase once I'm done with this.
