My new favorite mascara..sooo expensive though..but it does everything. Lengthens and thickens with a deep black color that doesn't fade.Lashes stay nice and soft, not stiff and flaky. I immediately bought two more for my supply. Don't know how long I will be able to keep up this expensive obsession, but for right now this is the HG mascara!!

I bought this at the Moscow airport while I was bored waiting for my repeatedly delayed AeroFlot flight. It entertained me then, and continues to do so; the shiny tube reminds me of my escape from bad Russian chocolate and uninterpretable flip-style announcement boards (the kind that the flaps spin around on until they reach some predestined random letter/number, only to start flipping again). Nothing fancy about this mess of a wand, in less than a month it resembled a teddy bear that that been through an industrial washing machine no less than 6 times. Clumpy, less of a brush than one big disgusting clump. The bristles were globbed together more securely than Batu's Golden Horde.
Imagine my surprise when it actually looked fine on my lashes (yes I continued to use it after it turned into the aforementioned clump). It's thinner/lighter/less waxy than Maybelline's Volum' Express, with the same results: slightly thick, stubby lashes. The problem is not with the volumizing properties of this mascara (average at best) but that the product doesn't thin out at the end of the lashes, it somehow coats the tip of the lash with the same thickness as the base of the lashes. Your lashes may be thicker, but they are stubby thick. Stout, scrubby, chunky, stocky, cow lashes.

This mascara is perfect for the first few weeks. After that, it starts to get a little dried out. I haven't found anything better though, so I continue to purchase Faux Cils. It is the best all-around mascara I have found (and I have tried just about everything). It lengthens, holds my curl, and of course gives nice volume to my puny lashes. I do wipe the wand down every week or two to keep it from getting clumpy, and I make sure the cap clicks closed every time. I just wish a tube lasted a little longer!

I dont think there is a better mascara than this one. This is my fav mascara in the world. I've tried every H/E mascara and NONE compares to this one, nope, not even Diorshow! Sorry Dior lovers but this does it all, it gives me the most amazing lashes and it really does live up to its name! I've got people asking me all the time if I'm wearing false lashes, and when they find out I'm not they complement me and tell me how beautiful my eye lashes are. Little do they know my lashes in reality are not that long! I want to get this in other colors too...

Well, I'm convinced it's me. It has to be.I think I set the bar too high for mascara now. No clue WHAT I'm expecting, but I'll know when I find it. YSL didn't deliver what I had hoped for. The brush was a little to fat to get my bottom lashes, my top lashes didn't hold the curl the way they usually do and looking in my travel size mirror now, it doesn't look like I have much on at all. This is going back. Bummer.

Nice one! It makes my eyelashes look fuller and longer.
It will clump a bit if you apply a few times, but all mascara does that. It also has a slight rose fragrance, and doesn't irritate my eyes.
However, i need to use eyelashes curler again after applied it, because my eyelashes are short and straight.

This is one of the best mascaras from the market. I personaly like Diorshow also, but this one is much easier to use. The colour is very strong and it never dries out lashes. It stays soft and velvety. I gave it 4 lippies because it doesn`t stay on too well. It smudges on my upper lashes after a few hours, that`s why i always have to pay attention to wipe it, otherwise i look like i have two rows of lashes. In rest it does everything. I cannot say about curling, as i have naturally curlied lashes. But it does adds volume and makes the lashes look super long.
I say you should give it a try. It`s definetely worth the price and to be honest i liked L`oreal in the past, but after finding Diorshow and this one i would never go back to the cheaper ones.
Another minus would be that after a week or so it becomes very dry, but u can add a makeup lotion in it and it gets like new. This is a trick that the girls from the store use. Anyway you shouldn`t keep a mascara for too long, so u can be ok with it for three months.
I would repurchase it again and this is something i have just done today.

Besides Diorshow, this is my second favorite mascara! It really gives long, pretty lashes. The reason I don`t buy it often, is the problem with wiping the brush, as other reviewers have mentioned. I really don`t like wasting expensive mascara like that. So one lippie of for that. If YSL fixes it, I`ll be back for more:-)

I love this mascara!!!

I love this mascara.The only thing to commment on is that it might clump if you have very long lashes (which I do), but you can actually keep putting the mascara on and it de-clumps in the process. Properly black mascara (not greyish like many others). Covers the lashes in one sweep, but you can keep building if you want show stopping lashes. The packaging is lovely and feels a bit special every morning.
