As a lip balm, this doesn't really make much of a difference on my lips.
The texture is fairly thick, if you just go over your lips once and purse your lips, it feels like almost nothing's on your lips, so you may have to go over it a few times to deposit a good amount of product.
I used it 3 night consecutively and I found that my lips actually became really thick and flaky, the way my lips turn when my lips are allergic to something. Horrified, of course I stopped using it.
After my lips went back to normal, I decided to try it again, because this is VERY popular on Youtube and I really wanted to like it, but this time under lipsticks since it does dry to a semi matte to matte finish, and I found that it's GREAT as a lip primer, especially for drier lipsticks. My lips didn't react this time, I guess I just can't use it overnight.
It smells very pleasant, this one isn't amazing as people say, it smells like soy milk and a hint of fruit, which is nice... But not like, oh my god you have to get this because it smells so good.
I like the sphere packaging, different from the conventional lip balm.
For $3.49 retail, I'd probably go with Burt's Bees if you want a lip balm that actually moisturizers, but as a lip primer I would definitely recommend this because it's not super slick on the lips.
I said No to buying this product again because I feel like it would last me a good while. Kind of want to try the Lemon SPF 15 one.
This lip balm is just alright. It pretty much works just as good as any other lip balm I have tried and own. I really do like the packaging though. Except the round part broke off some how :/ I just opened it one day and it fell off. I put it back together and still try to use it, but it will probably fall off again soon. I might and might not buy this again. I'm not completely sure yet. I'll most likely just end up buying it again because it's cute.
this is great! there are so many oils in this lip balm that it keeps my lips moisturized for so long. i don't need to reapply and you can't feel it on your lips - they just feel moisturized.
the first ingredient in this lip balm is olive oil. i use that as a moisturizer for my skin and it does fabulously on my lips.
the packaging is awesome.
These sure get a lot of reviews. I'm a big organic lip balm fan and tried this earlier in the year. While the balm itself is fine and the packaging looks cute, I did not like it. You get very little product, and as you use it up, the edges of the half-sphere start scraping your lips because there's no way to twist up the remaining product like with a traditional stick balm.
I prefer Yes to Carrots, Lush, and other balms that moisturize well and smell good but have much better packaging.
I love the egg-like packaging! It's so cute..
However, I find it too bulky to put it in my to-go makeup bag.
It moisturizes the lips well and keeps it hydrated for a long time (at least 2 hours). There is no need for constant application. The shape of the product makes it easy to fully cover the lip area. It is not minty. I also like the fact that it is not waxy or sticky.
The scent is delicious. A mix of peach, berries and melons.
I've had this little guy for a couple months now, I really love it. You get so much product.
Pros: Great packaging, it's easy to find in my purse or schoolbag. It smells greats, very moisturizing. Also, pretty long lasting. I'm a lip balm addict and something ALWAYS has to be on my lips. With this little product, I can go a couple hours without reapplying. And, you get so much more product than a little stick. I also think it's harder to lose it, because of it's unique shape. Oh, and one more thing: because of the balm's unique shape, you can get both of the lips covered at once!
Cons: I sometimes have trouble putting the cap back on... but it's probaby just me, I'm not really coordinated.
Overall: I really love this product. When this runs out, I shall go try the stick form.
smells really good plus is very mosturizing and looks very cool!works wel on my lips tooo.
I saw this at the store and had to have it (I am a lip balm junkie!) and there is a lot I really like about it. I like the packaging- the cute sphere shape makes it different and makes it easy to apply to both lips very quickly. The formula isn't bad- not super moisturizing but it defnitely stayed on a long time for a thinner formula.
What I don't like, is the smell. Summer fruit my foot! It smells cheap and fake. Not chemically like some people said, but not good either. I said I would buy again because I am curious what the other ones smell like.
Also, it is pricey at $4 or so.
I love Evolution of Smooth (EOS) lip balms! The packaging is really cute (small, egg-like shape), the price is reasonable, they are available at most drug stores, they moisturize well, smell great, and best of all... you can apply the lip balm to both lips at one time! (Can you tell I can be lazy when it comes to applying cosmetics? The less time spent, the better!)
I've tried summer fruit, honeydew, and lemon drop... summer fruit is my second favorite out of the bunch.
I agree a lot with ashley92504. This product isn't as good as Blistex to me.
I bought mine for about $3 which is expensive to me for a lip balm. I usually pay less than $1 for my Blistex tubes. While the packaging on this is adorable, I'm not really sure I care for this. The smell is sort of fake and almost smells like plastic. It's nothing close to "summer fruit". This is a really thin lip balm and I'm used to a thick wax on my lips. I have no idea whether this works on my lips or not yet. I'll check back and edit this. Also I think it's cool that this product is organic but in the long run I really don't care. I'm more worried about the price of a product than whether or not it's organic or vegan.
