I used to use this powder a long time ago. What I remember is that it gave even coverage & color. I also liked the consistency. It is almost like liquid foundation mixed with powder. It's creamy, but powdery at the same time. I think it works very well that way. Kind of reminds me of studio fix by Mac (same consistency). I don't use this powder anymore, but it is a cheaper alternative to more expensive powders. One thing I noticed is that this powder occasionally broke me out. For that reason, I do not reccommend for sensitive skin. Other than that, good powder. Oh, & it blends pretty well...so it lives up to its name:) continued >>
I was looking for a face powder and got this in N3. I like the finely milled texture of the powder. The color was too peachy and it turned orange as the day progressed. Tried again another day and the same thing happened. I had hoped the neutrals would have beige undertones. I tried the warm shades previously but they were too yellow--I look jaundiced. I had to return this to CVS as it didn't work for me.
Had this powder in shade W7 more than a year but I think the color is a bit too pink on my NC40 skin. I tried it first in Sweden during winter NC37, it would just not work, I thought I was too pale. But now I'm NC40 and it's still just a tad too pink on me.
It has a very silky, smooth texture which I love..but also an obvious smell. My face doesn't like its products to be strong fragranced so this turned me off a bit. Coverage is quite good I must say, but If you put too much on it will look cakey. It mattifies the oil in your face at first, but not for long, requires touch ups. Packaging is a bit blaah.
I want to try this in another shade cause I do like the texture and finish that it gives.
Hmm, I just got this today as an impulse buy. Quite frankly I needed something to wear on my lazy days, such as today. I just put some of my Boots No. 7 Softn and Sheer Tinted Moisturizer and used this to set it. It's ok, not the best. Ok coverage I guess, but what I am looking for is more of a full coverage pressed powder foundation....nope mac doesnt work. Any suggestions?

Possible one of the worst powder foundations I have tried. I have had this powder in my make up drawer for a couple years now and used it only once in awhile. I've been starting to use it so I can just get rid of it, and I don't like it at all. My skin is very oily. I press on this powder with a flat top ELF brush below my eyes over my concealer and my tzone area. It doesn't help control oil what so ever but it's probably just not a good powder for oily skin. The color does match me perferct however, and the coverage is ok but the lasting power is bad. Will not repurchase, I will probably just throw it away.
I LOVE THIS! I either use this over concealer when I'm being lazy or setting my liquid foundation and it makes my skin feel so nice and keeps my oil out through the day! I love this and I am in W4 natural beige and actually like the smell weirdly. (:

First thing you need to know, is that I didn't bought this powder to use as a foundation but as a setting powder.
It was great as a setting powder. It kept the shine away during almost my whole day and it didn't look blotchy when apllied in a thin layer. It gave me some extra coverage on top of my medium coverage foundation which was a great bonus.
The packaging wasn't my thing. I liked the mirror and the spunge came in handy sometimes. But mine broke quite easily into three pieces.
But when applied as a foundation on its own, I don't like this product.
It was really sheer when I apllied one thin layer. When I tried to build it up, it started giving a grey sheen to my face in daylight. It looked kind of chalky too.
I think this makes a perfect setting powder if they have your shade. But even if it's just a bit too dark, don't buy it or go a shade lighter because it tends to go a tad bit darker during the day (not noticable when you're exactly the same shade). Probably because it starts to react with the oils of my skin.
As a foundation I really wouldn't recommend this, there are better powder foundations out there.

I purchased my True Match foundation in 4N and also purchased the powder in 4N. Big mistake. The foundation was already a little tanner then my own skin tone which I didn't mind, but the powder made it darker. So I switched out the powder for 3N which looks perfect on me. You wouldn't think the powder should alter the tone of the foundation, but i guess it just made the 4N more opaque and there-by adding more pigment so it looked darker. The powder is nice, smooth finish. Doesn't look powdery. It would be nicer if the mirror wasn't were the sponge is, as that is kinda strange, but no biggie.
I've used this powder for years I range between w2 and w3 I normally switch between this and mac studio fix powder+foundation but I love this stuff I've bought it over and over. It gives medium to full coverage blends well and is buildable. I either use it on top of my concealer alone or I'll use liquid foundation and use this as a setting powered either way its awesome. Its roughly $11 lately I've gotten lucky and have found $2 off coupons so I've stocked up but it's worth every penny.
