Had a really strong smell which put me off when I opened the bottle. I thought that it was going to give my lashes a boost of volume and length, hence the name MAJOR lash but there wasn't really anything major about my lashes after using this mascara. IT DOES NOT ADD ANY LENGTH AT ALL. The brush is very thick so I cannot apply this without getting mascara on my eyelids and it is very hard to blot off. Also, it is very hard to reach into the corners of my eyes because of the thick brush.

Quite pricey for something that doesn't do its job properly. The only good thing that I have to say about this mascara is that the formula is very watery so it does not clump. On the other hand, this is probably the reason why it does not add much volume or length. Go for it if you want mascara that makes you look as if you're not wearing any but when I buy a product being advertised as MAJOR lash, I want major lash.

For a washable mascara, this is amazing! Every single non waterproof mascara I've ever tried has smudged so horribly on me, but this one has the lasting power of all my waterproof mascaras. I have straight asian lashes that need wp mascara to hold a curl, but curls my lashes slightly without using an eyelash curler at all. It's the same price as most drugstore mascaras, I would definitely repurchase.

I have bought this many times on and off over the years. I'm using it at the moment and my main reason for going back to it was actually that it is nice and small and so fits in my adorable new cath kidston makeup bag. I like it, its a safe bet for mascara cos it does all the separating and voulmising I need and it has a nice non-flaky texture. I do really like the little silver tube too. Only downside is that when its brand new its a bit runny and so difficult to apply but it does mature nicely after a while and never gets yucky and clumpy. After this is finished I wont be buying again though as I like to chop and change mascaras too much.

I got this with some stila palette, and it is SO GOOD! i like it better than covergirl lash blast, maybelline define-a-lash (green & pink tubes) and other stuff I tried. It works even better with a primer. Makes lashes super thick and not clumpy at all. non flaky either! :D continued >>

This mascara instantly removes the curl from my lashes. I have to curl my lashes again after putting this mascara on, which I really hate. Even after curling them again, they straighten throughout the day. The color of this mascara is fine and I like the wand, but I would not buy this product again.

Just normal everyday mascara. I like MAC Prolash better it doesn't make my eyelashes feel so "crispy".

Not a fan at all. It applies easily, but takes forever to dry. This mascara doesn't layer very well and doesn't do anything special for my lashes. It slightly accentuates the length, but the result is very very natural, almost like I'm wearing nothing at all. To really test a mascara, I'll wear it all day and then sleep on it one night to see how it holds up to some "Wear and Tear." This mascara had all but disappeared by morning, so not good. Weird chemically smell, too. Received this as part of a gift; definitely would not purchase on my own.

I got this mascara in a Costco set and I thought of putting it up for swap because I never heard anything great about Stila mascara. One day I did reach for it because I didn't want anything too fancy. Then the next day, I reached for it again and so it went until this day when I reach for this over my ex HG mascara.

First, I wear contacts and it doesn't flake. It does smudge a bit just because I am a nasty eye rubber. It is not as noticeable as others though it is minimal smudging.

Second, I love the long wand and simple brush which gets in between all the lashes and coats wonderfully. The handle is hort but I've never even considered it an issue.

The color is wonderful. One coat is enough.

This is a great everyday mascara. It came in a special Stila set that I got which also container a fabulous gel eyeliner pencil, a gloss, and a moisturizer. The formula is nice and moist so you can put on lots of layers and not have to worry about it drying and getting clumpy before you finish applying.

The brush is the perfect size - not too big, not too small, with densely-packed bristles that are not hard or prickly. This mascara gave my lashes a lush, dark, pretty look without that stiff, spiderleg effect that many mascaras leave. This mascara reminds me of the widely-beloved Maybeline Great Lash [pink & green tube], but wih a MUCH better, fuller brush, good seperation, and no smudging. Like GL, it has a wonderfully dark, rich black color.

In a perfect world, this mascara would offer a bit more length, and even better - it would curl my lashes. In fact, I think EVERY mascara should be a curling mascara. Unless and until I find something better, this will make a great everyday mascara. continued >>

I hate this mascara. The wand is too long, or maybe it's the short handle. I dunno, I just don't like the packaging. It really clumps my lashes really bad. Won't be repurchasing this one...on to the next...!
