This is natural and glammy both! I have recommended this to two women as a great makeup collection staple. It was my first h.e. pallette, and 1st UD item...it really convinced me to consider the "h.e. investment" in all my makeup purchases!
I bought it last July, and it looks close to new, because the shadows are so pigmented, a "little dab'll do ya". The packaging is lovely and important, because I have my products around for so long...each needs have functional and attractive container. (It would be better with a magnet close, for some extra security.)
I sanitized it today: with 90% alcohol in a fine spray bottle. Dried quick; I had to wipe down the cardboard though.
That UD gave the brush and primer freebies was awesome too, b/c UDPP is terrific! (Look up how to de-pot it though.)
TRY the shadow with a damp (h2o) brush for more fun with the colors. My favorite colors are: sidecar, halfbaked, toasted, and buck (matte).
I gave it a 3 for price: it is NOT up there like some department lines. Also, I factor the "accessibility" into the $, and Urban Decay is accessible and approachable. :-) (For example, the Clarins counter felt SO foreign to me!)
I've gone on to buy 24/4 pencils and the UD Nskin from this intial Naked palette purchase. Highly recommend as an investment or gift. UD Naked 1 will be around your makeup collection for months/years, like a comfortable pair of jeans that you love.

I love it! Use it every day. Only complaint is the felt packaging. So yucky after awhile. It attracts dust/makeup etc. Eye shadows melt and blends like butter! I'm an UD addict. I have the BOS IV, Mariposa, Ammo, and Deluxe Palette.
Words cannot describe my feelings and admiration for this product! It is so amazing, and perfect in so many ways. The colors are beautiful and perfect for my taste, neutral and not bright or out there. With this palette, there are endless eye look possibilities. The colors are very pigmented and last all day, I use a e/s primer. You can make day looks or night looks in just one palette. $50 is a lot for makeup, and I've never spent over $40 for a single product beside this and the Naked II Palette. I would repurchase this item hundreds of time if I ran out. I could go on and on, but the point is that you won't regret this purchase if you love neutral eye shadows. Also, you don't need both the Naked I and II palette, I bought both and that was a waste of money. They both are very similar, so pick whichever you like and use that. You'll just neglect one and continuously use the one you favor. I prefer the brush on this palette compared to the naked II palette, because this brush is thicker and wider and gets more product on. I just wish it had a blending side like the other. The packaging isn't as nice as the other palette as well, but it will do.
Pro's:
Highly Pigmented
Wide Variety
Several look options
Brush
Great packaging
Large mirror

I honestly don't know what I would do without this palette. I use it every single day (either on its own or in conjunction with my naked 2). I love the highlights in this palette (even more so than in the naked 2). Virgin is the prettiest sheer peachy highlight. Once I use this palette up, I will definitely repurchase.

I love this palette. It can be used for a no makeup day look or a night look..and everything in between, you can create so many looks. My favorite shades are toasted, half baked, and darkhorse. Virgin and sin are perfect for inner eye corner and brow bone. The shades in the Naked palette definitely seem best suited for a neutral/warm complexion. I think Naked 2 is more for a cool complexion.
My only cons are it doesn't seem to be as long lasting on me as everyone says, but it could be my oily lids or my eye cream - so not sure if it's that or the product. Also I wish there were more matte shades, I know a lot of people say that. Overall I think this is a really good product.
This is the best eyeshadow pallet I've had so far. I love the neutral colors, which helps me experiment with light/heavy application. My one issue is that I have to use a thick layer of eye primer to make sure it doesn't move - if I don't, I get highlighting colors in my crease! (Then again, that may be the result of oily lids rather than cosmetic inefficiency.) The one thing that would keep me from buying again would the be price, especially after researching high-end "dupes" with the same color and quality for much cheaper.
An amazing palette! If you like golds and neutrals this is your go-to palette. I like it better than the Naked 2.

I was worried before I purchased this. I read reviews saying that the colours were muddy, the packaging was flimsy and it wasn't wearable.
I am here to confirm that this palette is neither muddy, flimsy nor unwearable.
The packaging is not the most practical thing ever- it picks up lint like crazy and the gold 'Naked' wears off pretty quickly. It is, however, quite thin, making it great to travel with.
The brush that you get with the palette is really nice as well, although I'm not a fan of the primer potion.
But it's the eyeshadow itself that really makes this palette.
The texture of it is smooth and creamy and the pigmentation is brilliant. There is some fallout, but it's not crazy. The glitter is really only very noticeable in three of the colours- Sidecar, Creep and Gunmetal.
And the colours are so, so beautiful.
Virgin is a pale cream that has more of a sheen that a sparkle to it. It's the best browbone highlighter ever.
Sin is so gorgeous- somewhere between a pink. a silver and a cream and so pretty on the inner corner. Again, more sheen than sparkle.
Naked is my least-used colour- it's a matte cream-brown. It'd be a great brow colour for blondes, though.
Sidecar is a very glittery silver-brown that's my everyday lid colour.
Buck is my brow colour- it's a matte mid-brown.
Half Baked is a gold with a beautiful sheen to it. Again, one of my most-worn lid colours.
Smog is a gold-brown that'd look so beautiful on green eyes.
Darkhorse is a deep brown that is great in the crease.
Toasted is a beautiful pinky-brown.
Hustle is like a darker version of Toasted- my everyday crease colour.
Creep is a sparkly grey-black.
Gunmetal is a deep black with a hint of blue and a lot of sparkle.
Overall, a makeup essential. You can create any natural look you may desire with just this palette. So worth the money.

I have had this palette for a year and I haven't hit pan on any of the shadows and I use this palette every time I do a look. It is a little expensive but for the price you get amazing quality. The packaging is cute and it comes with a brush and primer potion! Love everything about this palette. I would purchase again and have recommended it to everyone!
Im sorry, anyone who has anything bad to say about this palette is just plain wrong. It has every shade of gold and brown with a black and gray/silver thrown in there. Its simply amazing and perfect for an everyday look and even a night out. It is lightweight and great for traveling. I do not plan on buying another eyeshadow until I am completely finished with this palette. I have not had any fall out that was too extreme, maybe just a few sparkles from the glitter ones but nothing crazy. Its flattering both every shade of eye colors and will be the best $50 you will ever spend on makeup.
