This is the best lip balm i have ever bought! I love how it sinks into my lips and gives a plump appearance. It doesn't feel waxy and makes my lips very soft. I hope this product is not LE.

This isn't a bad product, it's just nothing really special to me. It's a bit waxier than I like, and since I'm addicted to products that smell nice, I might like this more if it had maybe a sweet scent (I can't really detect much of one at all, except for a sort of "lip balm" scent). I'll finish out the tube, but it's not remarkable enough for me to purchase again.

This lip balm is amazing! I am obsessed with lip balms and have tried 90% of drugstore brand lip balms; no joke. Who knew that one of the best would be Chapstick brand? This little tube is around 3 dollars, which is the average price for a good drugstore balm. It smells buttery and even looks like butter. It glides across your lips without feeling waxy at all. Even after it is absorbed, your lips are as moisturized as ever. Awesome lip balm!

Does not condition my lips, is not the worst I have ever used (carmex)but would never repurchase.

I couldn't wait to buy this. I haven't used Chapstick since childhood, when it was waxy, heavy, and unpleasant. I opened this, put it on, and it was - waxy, heavy, and unpleasant. The texture took me back to days I was dashing out the door to go sledding when school was closed, but that was as close as I go to a positive experience. I don't like it, it didn't do anything to condition my lips, and I don't see what all the fuss is about.

I can't wear most chapstick products ..in fact this is the ONLY one I've ever been able to tolerate on my lips for more than 30 seconds without them starting to itch and swell-and not in the good way! I tried this and I'm not wow'd by it...it didn't cause a reaction, but neither did it really hydrate my lips. They were still flaky and a bit dry even after a week of religious use, at that point I gave up and let my 9 yr old daughter have it. I went back to my beyond color lip conditioner by Avon that works like a charm to keep my lips soft, plump, and UNCHAPPED!

I actually got this free at Walgreens (instant rebate) and I hope that doesn't mean the product isn't selling well, because I LOVE it! It's my go-to, "coat pocket" balm-- works far better than Burt's Bees, IMO. The scent is extremely subtle, almost like fresh cream or butter, and the texture is smooth and creamy but not waxy. Does a great job of softening and protecting my lips-- not just sitting on the surface, and not absorbing quickly. It's just a lovely sensual experience to apply this balm!

Two minor gripes: 1) For a balm that retails for $3.50, the tube could be a little sexier. It's just like regular ChapStick.
2) Although the packaging says "five natural butters," there are really only minute traces of the more expensive butters, like mango and avocado. The balm is mostly sunflower and coconut oils with beeswax. Whenever an ingredient is listed AFTER the fragrance/flavor, you know you're not getting much of it.

Finally, a natural lip product that I can get at a local drugstore! This lip butter actually sinks into my lips as opposed to sitting on top like most of Chapstick's other balms do...which means no icky buildup/white residue. Always a plus. It also makes my lips incredibly soft overnight. LOVE the ingredients (jojoba oil, coconut oil, avocado butter, etc.) My only gripes are: no SPF, like others have mentioned, so I use something else if I'll be spending a considerable amount of time outside. The lasting power also could use a little work (1 or 2 hours), but it's nothing that's going to prevent me from buying this balm again. I got it for $3 at Rite Aid.

Just bought this after reading reviews. I've been a Carmex fan for a few years but wondering if it's not working in reverse...especially after what I've been reading about it. Used it constantly and they never felt better or healing...only temporarily after I'd put it on. So I bought this Chapstick and don't think I've purchased Chapstick since the old days of the black and white package; waxy nasty stuff. Well, this lip butter is just that....like butter. Not gooey or thick like the waxed stuff. Lighter than the Carmex. Feels more healing. I think this is a keeper.

i am not a big fan of this one. iy was just too thick and waxy; it did not glide well or seem to sink in at all. i will not repurchase.
