very thick and rich cream. I think it would be good for very cold winter months, esp if you go outside alot. Has a mysterious smell.

I use this on face and chest, especially when sunburned. I only need to apply a little bit, and it leaves a smooth and soothed, burnished, semi-matte reflective and refined surface. The gentle scent is quite comforting and lovely. My advice for some reviewers is to keep separate standards for natural products than for synthetic ones. For me, natural is the only choice.

i got a sample of this and tried it on my skin only once... greasy and gunky. i use it on my elbows and knees, tho. works pretty well there.

I ended scooping it all out into the gar'bage & recycling the container! It smelled awful & felt extremely greasy on my skin!

My mother got this in a little sample kit for her birthday and I tried it. I didn't like it in the small container cuz every time you try to get some out you get it all in your fingernails. Yuch! Plus it gave my skin a tinge of yellow so I couldn't wear it during the day. It was also a little greasy. But the pros are the carrot cake scent(mmm!) and that AFTER it came off my face was soft and mousterised.

Disgusting, this is like trying to rub plastercine into your skin.

Fortunately I only tried the sample, why the yellow coloring?? And smelled awful.

I've been using this product for almost a year now, and love it. My favorite part is that it is all natural, which is important to me. The jar packaging is a bit of a hassle and not the most sanitary imo, but it is bearable. This product moisturizes very well, I haven't ever really broken out from it, and is reasonably priced. The jar usually lasts quite awhile, though after awhile the product begins to change in texture... The product does seem a bit greasy until it sinks in. UPDATE: Have moved on to try better moisturizers...

I know the Burt's Bees line is supposed to be great, I bought this product and the herbal blemish stick. I love the blemish stick, but the day creme broke my face out even more. It is too moisturizing, which I agree may be better on another part of the body, as when i tested it on my hand it felt great. I ended up returning it.

I know from past experiences with Burt's Bees that I can't put their moisturizers on my face. I bought this b/c I love the smell and thought it would make a good hand creme. Well.....I discovered that it works VERY WELL for your legs after shaving. If you use it right after you get out of the shower it will keep your legs moisturized all day. I'm not kidding. I live in Colorado where it's extremely dry and I usually have to lotion my legs several times a day if I don't want to look ashy, but this stuff keeps that "just shaved" silkiness and softness for several hours. Don't use too much, though.....a little goes a long way. It's best to try a little then add more if you need to. Try this for your legs.....you will LOVE it
