I like to use this as a base for my Cover Girl Lash Blast. The Rimmel mascara helps give the first coat and separate the lashes. Wouldn't use it alone unless I wanted a very natural look as there isn't much if any volume added with this product. NO clumping which is a bonus especially when using it as a base for a more maximizing mascara.

This mascara does exactly what it says it will do: it lengthens your lashes. It doesn't clump, and it washes off. The lesson for me here was that I don't actually need lengthening mascara alone, because I ended up with straight, spidery, spindly lashes that didn't hold a curl. I'll get some volume formula and try the two together. Great price.

This is, i think my fourth Rimmel mascara, i don't know why I keep trying them, but I picked this one up in the summer but haven't gotten around to trying it until after Christmas. Well, the pros of this mascara is that it isn't clumpy and washes off easily. The cons: it weighs down curls instantly, doesn't volumize AT ALL, makes my lashes look like they don't have mascara on at all after 2 coats. If I try to build it up more I end up with spider-lashes.

This might be okay for somebody who already has crazy voluminous lashes and just wants to add length. (My lashes are thinnish, and not superlong. Needs mascara boost to be seen)

Very inky, the formula itself would hold a curl badly. Brush was much thinner than I expected.

I had to put on about 6 layers (after each dried) to get any kind of indication that I was wearing mascara. I was looking for volume in addition to length so perhaps that was my mistake. Will be exchanging it for something else

I love this!
It is the only mascara I have ever used that never, ever, EVER flakes! I am so impressed with that.
The texture of the formula is great, it's extremely different from anything else because of the Lycra element, but I absolutely adore it.
It doesn't do much for drama, but it looks super beautiful and it keeps curl and lengthens. But too many coats will decrease the curl and look kind of nasty.
This is definitely my default mascara. I've been using it for...2 years I think.

Well, this isn't a wow mascara, but it doesn't flake at ALL. It's better when you pair it with another mascara but it is very natural on it's own. Though I prefer dramatic instead of natural when it comes to mascara, I still like playing around with this mascara and combining it with different mascaras.
The only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because I like playing around with new mascaras and finding out which ones work best with my lashes and taste. :)

Very good for a natural look; no clumping or flaking.

I don't like this mascara, It does nothing that I am looking for to my lashes. It does not hold my curl. Does not give the lenght nor volumizing. what could be worse than this?

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this mascara. After being a DiorShow Regular & Unlimited devotee, throughout the past three years, I was surprised how well this mascara works for a natural, everyday look. It didn't really give me the false lash look of DiorShow or Lancome's Hypnose, but it did give me a really similar effect to Clinique's Naturally Glossy - only I didn't have to use an eyelash curler to get some curl.

It's not a bad mascara if you're just looking for length & a bit of curl. It didn't really do anything to thicken - granted, it isn't advertising itself as a thickening mascara. My problem though, isn't lack of length - but I do have very fair, poker-straight, lashes and my lashes aren't particularly thick. This didn't really do anything to again, make the lashline look denser - but I was surprised to see that this did add some length to my lashes, as well as a nice tint, and a decent curl.

This mascara also isn't waterproof, but even after a concert in the humidity, and dancing, my mascara looked just as good as it did when I left that night. No flakes, either.

The only thing keeping me from giving this mascara 5 Stars is the fact that it clumps easily if you use more than one coat, and more than one coat resulted in lashes that quickly drooped back down into normal position. However, it is one of the better drug store mascaras I've tried, and I'll definately keep it on rotation for days when thick, lush, Drag/False Looking Lashes are a tad bit much. continued >>

A really nice mascara that lives up to it's name. Lycra Lash Extender does makes my lashes longer and delivers a slight curl effect (without an eyelash curler) providing me with lovely natural looking lashes perfect for day time looks. I like that it applies easily with zero clumping and doesn't flake or smudge throughout the day. The cons are it dries quickly and the brush tends to get goopy and overloaded with excessive product (but easily remedied with a swipe of a clean tissue).
I would recommend this mascara to anyone looking to achieve naturally looking longer lash results that are not overly dramatic.
The best part was I was able to pick this mascara up for $3.99 at my local Shoppers Drug Mart.
