Brought this after reading all the great reviews on MUA.
I use Nivea creme (blue tub) as a facial moisturiser and it is amazing, leaves my skin beautifully nourished and smooth!! :)
I thought it would be a bit heavy for the upcoming summer so decided to give this a try to use as a day cream/ in the summer.
I used it for 3 days and for some reason i now have so much peely dry skin on my face (perhaps this is just the cream working? but i never get this with original nivea, i simply put it on and in th morning my dry patches have gone :))
Also, for some reason when i put this on yesterday it made my face sting :(
Basically, not a very good cream for face, perhaps due to the high fragrance content?
I will stick with my original Nivea creme, which is cooling, soothing, and incredibly smoothing (oooh ryhming! :))
Not being a Nivea fan, I can't believe how wonderful this product is until I put it on my face and my hand. I have an oily, acne prone skin and this cream is right up my alley. It sinks in really quickly and gives my skin a soft and dewy looking without leaving a greasy film. This is definitely best value for money.
LOVE this cream! I have been using it for two months and it makes my skin feel noticeable softer and smoother. I am NOT a lotion/cream person at all. I pretty much never use lotions, but I use this almost daily. It smells nice and just feels so amazing on my skin.
I've been using this product for 4 years now and I wouldn't say that it didn't help me out at all. Costing around NZD$12 for 200ml I say it's a good price and it take ages for me to use it all up! This cream I use basically every day and night as a body moisturizer. I used to use this on my face.. but its going through a rough time, and whenever I use it my face goes red :( So this product isn't sadly used on my face anymore.
All in all, I reccommend this product. But I wouldn't use it on my sensitive dry face :(
I was researching tons of ingredients, reviews and expensive creams when a friend made me try this cream. Its easily one of the best moisturizers ever for my very dry, sensitive skin. Emollient, non greasy, gives a dewy/matte look depending on how much you use.And best of all, it has dried up my old, never fading zit marks that are now fading rapidly to the point where people noticed. I am using the Asian version which is just a bit different from the US one - Aqua, Glycerin, Myristyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40B-3.6% v/v, Paraffin Oil, Butylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Microcrystalline wax, Mineral Oil, Myristyl Myristate,Glyceryl Stearate, Hydrogenated Coco-glycerides, Dimethicone, Sodium Carbomer, Jojoba oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyglyceryl-2 Caprate, Preservatives,, Lanolin Alcohol, Parfum.
I wholly endorse this wonderful cream. My skin tends towards dry and I have found this is the perfect base for my foundation. Not too oily and not too lacking in the moisture department. Perfect! I use it all over - face, hands, body. It is the perfect thickness, creamy and absorbs very quickly. It has a lovely, fresh scent. This is a staple in my makeup bag.
I love this product!
I originally purchased it on a whim and I'm glad I did. I use it as my nightly moisturizer on my face (it doesn't have SPF so I don't use it for a day cream). It's thick and luscious and makes my skin really soft. I feel like my skin looks amazing after using this product.
I also use it as an eye makeup remover cream when I'm lazy (although it's not that best for that purpose).
I use it on my body sometimes too. I've even used it on my lips in a pinch.
I like the packaging because I find it fun to scoop up the cream. A squeeze tube might be more sanitary--I think I did see a squeeze tube of it at the store. However, I always make sure my hands are clean before dipping my fingers into it.
I really like the smell. It's a little too heavily scented for a cream that's to be used on the face but it's fine. I'm not bothered by scents but if you're scent sensitive, I'd skip this product.
Definitely a re-buy.
