I absolutely love this moisturizing gel. It's definitely for people who have oily skin. My makeup goes on very smooth after applying this gel and my face remains shine-free throughout the day. This is the only moisturizer that has been effective in keeping my face shine-free even when I'm outside in the humid FL sun. It also smoothed away the fine lines under my eyes, and when I wake up in the morning my eyes look so revived and awake. I would definitely recommend this gel moisturizer if you have oily/combo skin. I use this in conjunction with Clinique's 3-step system (liquid facial soap, astringent, moisturizing gel).

I love this stuff! I got it as a sample and used it all and it's the best moisturizer i've used so far, especially for combination/oily/acne prone skin. It doesn't leave your skin oily, and it just makes it really soft and clear. Definetly gonna buy this stuff!

Every time I used this my face would instantly feel dry, rough and prickly. With prolonged use it actually seemed to make my skin both oily and dehydrated. It's gone straight in the bin.

This moisturizer is ok. I didn't see how dramatically different it was but it was decent. It didn't give me the heavy hydration that I thought it was going to give which is what I wanted. (I use Retin A which is very drying to the skin) I added Glycerin to it and that made all the difference. Now it's like a gel but also moisturizes my skin very well. I would buy this again because during the warmer months the original formula is nice and I like the bottle and the light feel it gives even with the glycerin added it's not heavy feeling. But during the colder months I'll add the glycerin. It now gives me exactly what I want.

So, I've been on the hunt for the perfect facial care system. I'm 33 years old with oily prone Hispanic skin. I don't have any wrinkles (yet) but suffer from genetic undereye circles, large pores, and a never ending supply of blackheads on the chin and nose. What I need is a skin care line (and I'm willing to pay the price) that will minimize my pores for a more airbrushed look, get rid of the blackheads, and brighten my sometimes dull complexion. I went ahead and splurged on the 3-step system #4, Wash Away Gel Cleanser plus the Dark Spot Corrector and Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum (see my other reviews.) All in all, it set me back about $150.00. I decided to review each part of the system separately because some elements work better than others. The first step was to remove makeup with the Wash Away Gel Cleanser, then use the Liquid Facial soap, then the clarifying lotion, then this Moisturizing Gel. While the other products were so-so to downright terrible, I actually really liked this gel moisturizer. I used it for most of the summer, when my oil glands are at their peak, and I think it really did control the amount of oil I produced, but still moisturized my skin enough to prep a nice canvas for makeup. I am dying to find an entire line that I like, (still on the hunt) but if I can't find one soon, I may buy another bottle of this, because it works well.

The BEST moisturizer I've ever used, after years of hopping from one brand to another in search of something that would not make my sensitive skin breakout. I was previously using this same moisturizer but the lotion one, however I found it left my face feeling and looking greasy since I live in tropical Malaysia. So I switched to this gel counterpart. Really, it is the best non-greasy moisturizer I have ever used even for my dry-combination skin. It is light, absorbs so extremely well and leaves my skin looking radiant. It really does! I'm usually picky with my products, and what a gem this one is.

My skin type: combination (dry, oily t-zone), sensitive and easily irritated. This is my moisturiser for those hot summer days and nights when I don’t want something heavy. It has a nice cooling effect when I put it on and easily absorbs into my skin. There is not greasy residue leftover and I wake up with a smooth face.

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because it’s does not moisturise well (for me) in the winter. If I use it, I’ll have to place another moisturiser over it.

Will I repurchase? It is yes or maybe. Have to wait till next summer, but I have been using 1 bottle for 2 years.

I got a small sample of this as part of a Clinique 3 step system for oily skin (I think no. 3). Didn't like the facewash much and hated the toner which stripped my face bare and the moisturiser ended up in the back of a drawer until I recently decided to use it up and I love it! Just right for my combination skin, leaves it soft and moisturised but not oily. Pleasant enough smell and although it's pricey it's not the most expensive high end moisturised put there. Great during the summer, not sure if it will be enough in the colder months but will see.
I will be repurchasing.

Wonderful. Makes my skin smooth and actually makes my oily skin less oily, just radiant. Has helped clear up my acne to nearly non-existent. It seems pricy but it lasts forever.
