I bought cause it's in P. Begoun's list. It feels soft, my waterproof mascasa goes off with one wipe,
but...
reading the ingredients, I am worry about the benzyl alcohol.

Alcohol on you eyelids should be no good, right?

Anyone can tell me more on this?

I seem to have fairly sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. This stuff is so irritating. It feels oily and leaves my eyes all flaky and raw. It also takes a couple swipes to get the makeup off.

I really like this product. Perfect for my acne prone skin, it takes all the makeup off without causing blemishes or pimples. I'm finishing my second bottle !

I love Lacomes Bi Facil, but it is pricy and I decided to try a drugstore brand instead. The Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover (oil free) was a pretty good dupe. I needed to really moisten my cotton pad (not ball, more like a cotton square), but it did remove my water proof mascara and all other eye makeup. It leaves behind a little residue, so I just wet my eye area with a face cloth afterwards. Its a decent alternative to the pricier stuff. I like that it's non irritating and lasts at least one month.

I know that this is a popular product and is a favorite of beauty bloggers and makeup mavens alike, but I’m not really enjoying this product so much. For its claim to be oil-free, it feels greasy as hell. I’d take out my eye makeup with this and it leaves an oily residue even after I rinse with water. My Lancome Bi-Facil contains oil, but that does not feel greasy AT ALL the way this does.

The good thing about this remover though is it doesn’t sting so it’s gentle on the eyes and it still performs pretty well as a makeup remover. I’m just bothered by its greasiness especially since it claims to be “oil-free.” That said, I will definitely save up for the Lancome Bi-Facil or find another alternative and will not repurchase this after I finish the bottle.

it took a while for my eyelids to adjust to this. at first they felt really greasy, but after continued usage of this product they stopped feeling greasy. it does take off makeup really fast. but its definitely not oil free!

I think a better cap is all thats needed on this. If I let the product sit it all comes off in one swipe. I dont really have any other issues with it other than the CVS dupe works exactly the same and is cheaper.

My mom turned me onto this cleanser almost five years ago. I don't ever skimp on makeup, so naturally I was also always buying designer makeup remover brands. Because I had never experienced anything else, I thought it was working. Then my mom bought me this makeup remover. Let me tell you that nothing works as well as this drugstore brand makeup remover. I NEVER have to harshly rub at my eyes to take off my makeup. I saturate a cotton ball in it, wipe it over my eyes and all my makeup is off without irritating my skin.

And I wear eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lash extension mascara every day. This stuff is a miracle. Usually with every other makeup remover I've used, I spend a while having to get off my makeup, adn theres always still some mascara leftovers. NOT WITH THIS!! This makeup remover is definately my hg.

Yes, it leaves a little oil residue on my face, but after I'm done taking off my makeup with it, I splash my face with cold water and its done. Will never use anything else!!

I love that this product is more soothing and gentle than other makeup removers. Neutrogena is a great brand, and I find myself getting lots of their products frequently and overall, I am quite satisfied. Like many other reviewers, I have had plenty of tragic catastrophes while using this product. The screw open top is a bit of an issue for me since I don't screw back on the cap until I'm finished removing makeup. I can't tell you how many times at night when I get lousy and accidentally elbow the bottle when I'm removing makeup, and cause a great spill all over the bathroom counter (if only it had a cap on...?). Otherwise I love this product and will definitely repurchase. With this product, I can remove makeup with ease, and it doesn't dry out my skin like most removers. The oily feeling doesn't bother me too much, all you need to do is rinse it off with warm water (I cleanse my face after removing makeup anyways). Definitely more PROS than CONS!
