I prefer glossy lip balms for their texture. Also, you need to warm this between your fingers before you apply. Won’t repurchase.
Nice moisterizing lip balm. Not the easiest to get out of the little pot though. It's kind of hard. Oh, and I'm one of those weirdos who uses this to tame my eyebrows. Yeah, I've got crazy German eyebrows. Works fab.
EDIT: ok, so I had to throw this out. I guess since it's all natural, it doesn't last too long. My cracked and got all yucky and changed color. I was only half way through. oh well.
Yummy lip balm! Very moisturizing and smells good (think a light chocolate orange). Like everyelse says, it is a little hard, but letting it sit on your finger dos the trick. A must for dry lips.
Wow I almost cried when I hit the bottom of my pot of this stuff! First off, you get a lot of this stuff in one jar...mines from June and is just getting to the bottom. It has a really nice scent thats not overpowering. Its very hard though, but I've fouund it very usable in the winter-just inside when the heats on! Smooth and creamy when its warm this stuff feels wonderful on your lips.
I LOVE this lip balm, and I'm a bit of a lip balm junkie.
Pros: It's incredibly moisturizing, feels wonderful on my lips, and lasts for quite a while. I'm a bit of a lip balm junkie and I must admit that I really love this lip balm.
Cons: Gets rock solid in the winter, so it's not great during the winter. Although, I've found that if you take a tiny knife you can slice it up, mush it around in the pot, and it's easier to get out of the container that way. Also, it doesn't have spf.
Despite it getting rock solid in the winter, I LOVE this lip balm and will definitely be buying it again.
*EDIT* When I wrote this last Lip Service was in a completely different pot. I like the new tin MUCH better than the old plastic pot. I can stick this tin in my pocket no problem, whereas the old pot wouldn't fit. I took a brief break of a year or two from Lip Service while I sampled other lip balms, but I find myself coming back to it b/c it really is that good. It's not greasy or shiny and seems to sink into my lips as opposed to sitting on top of them. Yay for a great product!
This lip balm is excellent. It is very hard and this does make it a little difficult to work with, but the results are well worth it.Not only does it moisturize my lips, but I found that it makes my lipstick last much longer, and when it does wear off, it leaves behind a "stain"-almost like the balm "holds onto" the color. Amazing product
This is a great lip balm, especially for dry lips. It makes my lips soft and smooth immediately without feeling greasy. I love how nicely it absorbs. It's a little bit hard to get it out of the pot unless it's humid or warm out which makes its soften quite a bit.
This is a great lip balm! It's kind of solid so you have to dig your finger into the pot, but I don't mind at all! The smell is wonderful and it does wonders for my chapped lips!
Love this lip balm. Nothing special, just a concoction of cocoa butter, shea butter, some essential oil and synthetic preservatives, but it does wonder on chapped lips. The pot is not the most practical packaging, esp. with the hard texture of cocoa butter (for texture, think of chocolate chip, the ones you made for cookies, somewhat softened, but not soft enough to spread over your lips. It takes quite a bit of rubbing). But it taste like an orange and it makes a nice cuticle balm as well. Not bad, overall.
This is probably the most moisturizing lipbalm I have ever had! Unlike most pot lip balms, this isn't waxy. More like lotion. And it lasts! I have very sensitive skin, and most lipbalms either don't last very long, or burn when I apply it. This is neither. If you've been trying to find the best lip treatment out there, this is it!!!
