I adore this mascara and have used it for years! It really lengthens lashes and doesnt clump at all regardless of what the brush looks like- thats right dont be fooled when you have a look at the brush. This stuff is heavenly and most of my girlfriends have switched since trying mine. five stars***** 100% YES!
I have smallish eyes and shortish eye lashes : (. It has taken me ages to find a mascara that really makes my eyelashes look great and my eye really lovely. I have green eyes and it his mascara really makes my lashes seem longer and thicker which makes my eyes look lovely.
This is expensive and I have tried to find cheaper versions and spent a small fortune in the process! I just love this and it really is no effort, it is build able for the occasion and easy to remove. The wand doesn't yet gunky or dry and it lasts me ages.
In my opinion it is really worth the money. I get it in black and the non waterproof one and it has never run on me either.
Also, the main thing that I noticed is that because I have smallish eyes, when I wear mascara my eyelashes touch the top of my eye bit and I sometimes end up with mascara there, I hate that and I don't get it with this mascara. Worth it for me.

I absolutely LOVE this mascara, one of my top faves c: it doesn't lengthen much, but with all that volume, u wouldn't care! XD it thickens, volumizes, the packaging is unique (and black, my fave color!), cool name, the brush is nice, and the formula is not too wet or too dry. Itz not difficult to remove either. After just one application, my lashes were thickened and voluimzed with a touch of length! :D I recommend this for people with long or average lashes. Since this mascara specializes in volume, I don't think it will do much for shorter lashes. I recommend Lancome Definicils for short lashes. I have dark average lashes, so Hypnose works wonders for me. On the other hand, my mom has short thin lashes, and Definicils makes her lashes 3x longer! I would repurchase this again..... later though, itz quite the price, but worth it! :)
I loved the packaging, unfussy, slimline and the brush was perfect for evenly coating the lashes.
The mascara itself was densely black and very creamy- it coats the lashes well and the length and darkness was noticeable after only one application. There were no clumps, just even, beautiful lashes.
Unfortunately, I won't be re-purchasing this again as I think the price is too much for a mascara (all of which needs to be replaced the most frequently of any product- regardless of the brand).

So i was recommended by a friend to buy this... i don't know how i feel about this mascara. It's great if you have lashes that can hold weight. I like the very full lash look normally, but because it's so heavy it actually pulls DOWN some of my smaller lashes, and from a profile view they're sticking out every which way. I feel like i need to apply a light mascara on before, wait till it dries, curl my lashes again and then apply this to get the right shape for my lashes. I didn't feel comfortable with the brush either... it's a really weird shape and i understand how to use it but it just doesn't do it for me. It's all twisted and curved with all sorts of bristle length... blah blah blah.. just give me a normal brush dammit!!! But the brush is one of the main selling features for this mascara.i like the color and coverage... but it can get a little too thick/clumpy sometimes. I need more time to experiment. Right now this is not my everyday mascara and has not fulfilled it's high price.. should've bought the definicils...almost forgot to talk about the package... i love the shiny black with gold accents... really sleek and pretty... i like the tube more than the contents... :P

This is not a bad mascara. It's even a good mascara, but it's not a HG mascara (for me at least).
I'm lucky in that I have very long, thick lashes to begin with. Hyponse is great, but sometimes it got a little clumpy. Whereas my Estee Lauder was gunky in a dried out mascara way, this would sometimes be "too wet" if that makes any sense. That said, with some cajoling I could get a great set of lashes out of it. I just shouldn't have to try so hard.

The best mascara I have ever used. Doesn't clump, lengthens, and doesn't flake! I love it. 4 lippies because I'ma po' girl and can't afford it all the time at $26 dollars. Worth every penny though.
I really liked this mascara. It is defintely one of my favourite of the high end brands. I found it to lengthen and add volume to my lashes without clumping.
To sum it up with one word - meh.
I gave in to the hype and bought this mascara as I wanted something more dramatic to wear for nights out. I was very lucky to get it cheaper on a promotion otherwise I would be raging. Packaging is lovely but ladies, we do not buy mascaras for packaging but for what they do, don't we?
I have fairly long but thin, blond eyelashes, so volume and good coverage is a must. I was disappointed, expecting a dramatic look but did not achieve it, even after a few coats. It adds a little volume, separates ok, it does not smudge and as others said, it does not hold curl either. Very average mascara, you could get the same effect (if not better) with an average, low-end brand.
I'm gone through many mascaras and this one is not the worst but is nowhere near the best! It was goopy and made my eyelashes stick together. It also took a long time to dry. I have a lot of lashes but they are really fine and were weighed down by the formula. I definitly would not pay that much for this mascara again and honestly I expected a lot more.
