This is the most amazing thing I have ever tried. This is the first time I ever tried Lush's solid shampoo, or any kind of solid shampoo and I am amazed at how great it works. I just wet my hair and rub this straight all over my scalp and it forms the most amazing lather! I massage it into my scalp, wash it out, and my hair feels really clean, then I apply conditioner. Once I have washed the conditioner out, my hair feels so smooth under the water. I let my hair air dry or sometimes blowdry and ever since I started using this shampoo, my hair has been so healthy, shiny, and light-feeling even when I do not style it. It feels like it gets rid of residue that other shampoos leave behind. I can just let my hair air dry and it still looks great natural. My hair has grown a ton ever since I started using this. Plus, this thing lasts forever! It is such a great buy. I got mine for about $10 CDN from the Lush store. I highly recommend this.

I love this shampoo! Its so nice and fun to use. I dont spell cinnimon as much as cloves, though I know it has 'cinnimon?' stuck right in the middle. I bought two and I have have shampoo forever. I really like it, though I havent noticed a dramatic improvement in my hair condition. It does the job, well

i didn't expect to like new! as much as i do. i don't use it every day because i prefer big, but new! makes my hair really soft and my hair has grown a ton. it doesn't dry out my hair like some other lush hair products i've tried.

my hair doesn't grow slowly or anything by any means, but i recently got my hair cut and now i'm tired of having short hair so i'm trying to encourage it to grow. i've been using new! two or three times a week, and my hair is growing much faster than normal. my hair has definitely grown an inch in the past month.

the scent is alright, i personally do not like heavily scented shampoos or anything because they tend to make me nauseous, but this one just smells like cinnamon so it's not too bad. it reminds me of spice curls soap, though spice curls is definitely spicier than new! the scent doesn't stick to my hair after i rinse it out, and i can't smell it unless i'm using it. like it doesn't scent my bathroom or anything like a few of the soaps do.

the price is wonderful, i think. the bar is about ten bucks and i've been using it for a month now and it doesn't even seem to have shrunken in size, and i use more than recommended. instead of three swipes across the scalp i use more like five, and i lather it in my hands afterward. that's awesome for ten bucks. no packaging doesn't bother me, if it bothers you you could always buy a little tin for it. i have a tin in case i'm traveling but i just store the puck on a shelf built into my shower.

My favorite LUSH shampoo bar is normally Seanik, but this bar just took it's place. ♥


First, I love the cinnamon scent. It's very invigorating. Secondly, it lathers up incredibly well. Much faster than even Seanik. The lather seems denser, more abundant as well. And lastly, I was in awe of how shiny my hair was after using this bar for a few days. Every time I used it my hair just looked shinier and felt so soft, light and bouncy. With my hair type, that is hard to come by.


For reference, I have fine, wavy hair that falls about mid back. It can get very frizzy if I use something too drying on it, but at the same time, very weighed down if I use something too moisturizing. This was perfect.


Also wanted to note, I usually have to wash my hair everyday because of it's fine texture; It tends to look really greasy on top if I don't. Using this shampoo I noticed that I can almost let it go 2 days in between washings, though. I say almost because at about the 1.5 day mark it will start to feel like it needs washed (without using this bar that feeling comes at the one day mark, though) but when I look in the mirror it doesn't look like it needs washed, yet. So I can go 2 days if I wanted to now. Huge plus since it usually looks like it needs washed everyday when I use anything else.


Giving this kudos also for using less packaging than regular bottled shampoos. I was skeptical at how well a shampoo bar would work before I tried LUSH's, and now I much prefer them and have a hard time going back to bottled shampoos. I just find these much easier to use and store.

This is such a groovy little product, i think i bought this about a month ago and the size has barely reduced, which is amazing considering both myself and my fiance use it religiously.

I'll admit, I bought this shampoo for the delicious cinnamon scent, but I'd buy it again because not only does it smell great, it makes my hair feel amazing! From the first use, my hair was full of body and very soft, and my scalp felt invigorated and healthy. This shampoo is also easy to use, economical, and good for the environment. I think my every day LUSH shampoo bar will still be Seanik, but New! is one I see myself returning to on cozy winter nights or when I need a pick-me-up.

I've been using NEW! for over a month & I like the results. I pair with Veganese conditioner. I need a detangler before combing wet but once I blow dry & flat iron, my hair is shiny & bouncy & healthy. I have a dry scalp that tends to get itchy & flaky, especially in the winter. I have noticed much less dry scalp issues since using. I have not noticed a decrease in hair loss throughout the day, especially when combing wet after a shower. This bar is supposed to stimulate the scalp to promote hair growth & help prevent so much hair loss.
This bar lasts a long time so it is a fantastic value. As with all of LUSH's hard products - keep out of the shower spray so it doesn't melt. The cinnamon scent does not linger in my hair at all after rinsing.

I have stopped using Lush haircare. It was too drying for my scalp. I do love the idea of solid shampoo & conditioners though & the scents are so amazing. The hair products do have SLS which I've learned can be drying to the scalp. I've been using the Rainforest line from The Body Shop since late summer & liking it so far. continued >>

I absolutely love this stuff. It fills the shower with the most unbelievable cinnamon scent, which is a very unique scent in a shampoo, and makes my scalp feel so fresh. It also does wonders for my dandruff. It's my miracle product. The only reason I didn't give it the highest rating is that it tends to get your hair very "squeaky" clean and requires a lot of conditioner to get your hair feeling normal and soft.

I LOVE this shampoo. It smells like Chai tea... and it's a bit strong when you just sniff it, but after rinsing it out of your hair, it smells less in your face, but still really good. My hair is fairly normal, very thick, is about halfway down my back, and gets a little greasy by the end of the day. This completely gets rid of oil. I don't think you would like this as much if your hair is dry, because it might aggravate your scalp, but that has never been an issue for me. I love how easily it lathers up (just swipe it around your hair 2-3 times) and then massage it into your scalp. I've been using this for about a month, and I think it will probably be used up after 2 more months. I don't think I'll be able to switch back to liquid shampoo. I tried using some once, and all I could think was that it didn't make my hair feel as clean as NEW! does. I will definitely repurchase this, and perhaps try out some of the other shampoo bars. Godiva in particular seems really nice. Definitely give this a shot. It's either Vegan or Vegetarian (I forget) and is very eco-friendly since it doesn't waste plastic bottles.

HG! HG! A little backstory on my hair: I had waist-length, naturally black hair, and about a year and a half ago, I decided to bleach it all and dye it bright red. Awful decision, I know! My hair was so dry that it felt like straw, and it started falling off in clumps. I ended up having to cut off about a foot of it before I could even think of dying it black again. Now it's about armpit-length and black, but unbelievably oily. Like, I would wash my hair in the morning, blow-dry, and by the time I was done blow-drying my hair would be an oil slick again kind of oily.
Anyways, I decided to try this product since it is toted to be good for oily hair, and promotes hair growth. This is the first shampoo bar that I've tried, and I was a little bit skeptical, but I find that I don't have to use much product, and it's easy to use. The smell is lovely and invigorating. After only two weeks' use I can already tell a difference in the thickness of my hair; my husband and my Mum have also noticed the change. It also really slowed my hair's oil production; I can *almost* get by two days without shampooing again. My Mum is now trying out this shampoo in hopes that it will help her hair become more thick again (she has wispy hair after having brain cancer several years ago).
So I would recommend this to anyone with very oily or thin hair!
