I used this on fine, damaged hair. It weighed my hair down, but my hair smelled lovely and was very smooth and soft.
I have no business buying this for myself in the first place. My mom used to use Biolage, and the wonderful scent has always stuck with me....I wish they would release a perfume or spray version of this stuff. The actual product line, however, has never worked on my fine, color-treated hair. It makes it drier and frizzy, as well as dull.
I have lots of very long, thick, coarse hair. I need to shampoo my hair twice just to get the shampoo to reach the scalp...so I hear about this unbelievable conditioner. I found it at folica.com, so I ordered it and I absolutely love it. When I first dried my hair, it didn't seem like it was that great. My hair seemed to be standing up on its own. But when I woke up in the morning, my hair had calmed down, and it was really shiny and straight!! I will use this product for a long time!!
I bought a big tub of this during the liter sale at beauty brands this summer for $11. It's what they usually use when they wash my hair at the salon. It smells very good and leaves my hair silky and smooth.
This is the only deep conditioning mask that I continue going back to. I've tried the versions from other brands (Sallys, BioFusion....etc.) and while they are very similiar, the original is always the best :) I love the smell, I love how it makes my hair feel without it getting that weird film or weighing it down any.
The only thing that I dislike is the price, especially for something that I use multiple times a week. Yikes.
I have thick, curly, color treated hair with a tendency to frizz. I have tried many different conditioners, and this one is, without a doubt, the best one for my type of hair. I use it as a rinse out, deep conditioner, and leave in. After I condition, my hair is very soft and smooth, not frizzy, and it doesn't feel "coated." I apply a tiny amount to my wet hair before my styling gel, and I get smooth, defined curls with very little crunch. It also NEVER builds up on my hair. I use a sulfate-free shampoo 3x a week, and don't have to clarify because I don't have buildup. HG HG!!!
I've also used the gvp version from Sally's, which works very well, too, but I don't like the bottle it comes in (too hard to squeeze) and the smell is a bit more "plasticy."
The only conditioner I use. It's relatively cheap for the product you're getting, and I can usually find it on sale in bulk at salons. It comes in large amounts so you don't have to buy a new one every two weeks. I have long, healthy hair (so I've been told) and I always tell people to use deep conditioner in place of regular conditioners every time you wash your hair, and this is the only one I use!
I bleached my healthy hair about a year ago and the ends always feel a bit rough even after I get it cut. I've been using this conditioner for about a month ( I deep condition leaving it in for about 15 min) and I got my hair cut two weeks ago and the ends of my hair are actually soft and feel like normal hair! I also have less breakage, tangles, and more overall softness. It will last a long time and it's very thick. I have to mix this in my hand with water in order to spread it evenly in my hair. If you have fine hair just be sure you spend a good minuite rinsing your roots alone to avoid your hair getting weighed down. I can't live without this conditioner, HG <3 <3
HERES A MONEY SAVING TIP: Buy the jar instead of the tube. you get twice the product for only $10.00 more. : )
This is my HG conditioner, I will not go anywhere without it! I have long hair that is very dry, and nothing I've ever tried before keeps it as soft and hydrated as Biolage's conditioning balm. I've even abandoned using Biosilk and other silicone serums to seal my ends. I keep my conditioner habit relatively inexpensive by buying a whole bunch of these when Ulta has their buy 2 get 1 free sales, it ends up being pretty cost effective since so little of this product goes a long way. I also love the smell!
I love this conditioner!
It leaves my hair soo soft and bouncy and amazing, and it smells great as well.
Definitely recommend trying this.
It keeps my frizz at the absolute minimum, compared to the other conditioners I have in my shower.
