I'm a big fan of crayon/pen style lip products and have tried many of them. This ranks right up there among the best. I love the packaging - the chunky look of it, and the fact that I don't have to sharpen it, just have to twist the pen to get the product. This is quite moisturising, more so than some of the more expensive lipsticks I've tried. The product is very pigmented and yet long lasting, I just have to apply twice to last through the entire day. It doesn't last through a full meal, but perfectly fine for a drink or snack. I left the best to last, the color - this neutral shade looks fantastic on me, fastastic MLBB shade. I love it! Will definitely repurchase!

I have owned two of these....Honey, and the other, Precious.

I couldn't find a review for JUST the balms themselves in general, so I picked one shade that I have, lol.

For starters, the pigmentation on these are quite great. Given that I have one lighter shade and then a neutral shade, I was pleasantly surprised. But at the same time, most of Revlon's lip products are quite great anyway, so I should have been surprised to find these so awesome, lol.

They are SUPER creamy, I cannot emphasize that enough. But they aren't so creamy that they break whenever you go to put it on your lips like a lipstick. The twisting feature that they've included is fantastic. You twist from the bottom just like you would a lipstick and the product seems to go on forever. Well, after you twist it all of the way up, you'll think you don't have a lot, but once you start using it, you'll see that it will last you a long time.

Once you apply these to your lips, you'll feel a slight minty sensation, at least I do anyway. Which I really like. It makes me feel like my lips are clean and more refreshed than before. They really do condition the lips so they are definitely doing their job right.

The one thing, well two things I can say negatively about these is 1, the price. WHY, OH WHY, are these $8 a piece? That's a little steep wouldn't ya think Revlon? I hate that I have to spend that much to get what I want. And I think there are at least three or four more on my wishlist that I can't get right now because I'll be spending almost $40 on them.

Also, I can't say they really stain the lips. They have a little bit of staying power....given that you drink or eat something, it will come right off. Now if you're just sitting around, they will stay on your lips. I just find myself touching up...A LOT. Either way, I really like these and I will continue to buy them, regardless of price.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone and the color selection isn't too bad either. Nice array of pinks, nudes and reds.

I am a little obsessed with these Revlon balm stains, I have them in many colours. They are pretty much everything I want in a lip colour -- long-lasting, pigmented and moisturizing (well, moisturizing enough for something that is so long-lasting!).

As much as I love the balm stains in general, I am a bit iffy about this colour. I can't decide if it's pink, brown or purple. It goes on kind of brown, but turns an odd dusty shade of pinkish purple throughout the day. This is slightly darker than my natural lip colour so I wear this when I want a more barefaced look.

These balm stains are amazing but I would not repurchase this colour.

This colour is great for a natural look. My lips are quite pigmented so Honey is almost the same shade as my lips! They make my lips stand out somewhat more and really give them a matte look. If you're a beginner to lip products and you want to try something natural, I'd say this colour is really awesome. This colour is really popular, so they must be popular and be selling out quick for a reason! The stain is unbelievably long-lasting!
In Australia these are about $17.95 each which is quite pricey. This also isn't THAT moisturising for me, and the smell is a bit overwhelming but I can live :) These stains are amaaayzzinggggg!

I don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been said: this product feels nice, moisturizes fairly well, and has great packaging BUT the color goes from exactly matching the plastic tube to bright pink in under an hour. Very weird. And annoying.

I've been wanting to try this product for some time and since it just recently landed in Australia, I thought I might give it a go. The price is around $17 each but there was a buy one get one free offer so it is a pretty good deal. After reading many blogs and reviews, I chose the Honey shade and it was PERFECT! Love the colour. I would say that it is a warm dusty rose colour, perfect for my complexion. As for being a lip stain, it does a pretty good job and lasts hours (though i do reapply, just out of habit, even though i don't need to). If I was to compare it to my revlon lip butters which I have been using daily, I would choose this product over the lip butters just because it still moisturises and lasts much longer. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

There is nothing "honey" about this colour. It is a light dusty rose that looks brownish when first applied, but after two minutes it turns fuschia. I have mauve pigmented lips, so that is probably why I get the fuschia colour. The packaging is nice and the product feels nice as it goes on. It is not extremely moisturising but not drying either. It does leave a stain... but as I said, the stain is fuschia -- YMMV. This was $17.50 in Australia. I probably won't repurchase this colour. I might try "adore" next.

Edit: drying, oh so drying. I can't use this anymore as it makes my lips dry.

This is your lips kinda color a rosey pink. This looks exactly like my lip color so I don't see the point of wearing this because it looks so natural that what the point of it stain your lips there original color.
If you like natural look this might be for your but you might want to swatch it first to see if it is a match to your lip color

I'm definitely sold on these balm stains! My favorite part about them is how smooth and moisturizing the formula is. I find that a lot of lipsticks and glosses feel nice going on, but they dry my lips out after wearing them for a while. These balm stains are one of the few products I've tried that actually seem to do good things for my lips.
As for the lasting power, I've found that it's better than average but not amazing. The color lasts for a few hours on me. what I do love about the way these wear is that they wear off evenly. I've tried some stains that wear off unevenly, leaving patches of color. Not the case with these.
I've only tried a few colors, but honey is definitely my favorite so far. It's a soft, natural-looking deep pink. I think its very flattering against my fair skin. I've been wearing it nearly every day lately and I'm very comfortable wearing it to work, where I want to look put-together but not overdone.
Overall, I find this to be one of the most effortless and flattering lip colors on the market. I will definitely repurchase this, and I highly recommend trying it out!

I am one tough customer. I'm not easily impressed and in this day of technological advancement, when a product makes all sorts of claims, they'd better be true. (They're usually not - I have an immense product graveyard.)
These balm-stains are A.MAZ.ING. To say I adore them and want to sing their praises from the rooftops would be a serious understatment. I have several colors, with Honey being one of the more neutral, everyday, go-to shades in my collection.
The texture is smooth and creamy, the color lasts and, unlike most lip stains, lipsticks, or alleged "balms," this one does not require me to top it with lipgloss in order to feel smooth & moist.
My hat's off to Revlon on this product. I hope they never, ever, ever discontinue it. I'd be heart broken. continued >>
